About this campaign
We got Wrigs when my son turned 3 years old. It was at a time when my family was dealing with some serious issues and we felt that the love of a dog would bring our life a much needed change of pace. Wrigley is so full of spunk. He loves to give kissies and never passes an opportunity to play tug o war!
About 3 weeks ago I noticed a lump on his back right leg. At first it looked like he just licked the hair up, but one morning I noticed he was limping and the lump had gotten even bigger. I took him to Lakeside Animal Hospital where the Veterinary told me they would need to cut his leg open to clean out the mass and send it in to see if it’s cancer.
Wrigley had always been a goof. He would run around the house with pride any time he’d get a treat for going potty outside(which was always). Even with all that energy he would glue himself to your leg the moment you sat down. He loves to cuddle up and snore all night long.
Never did we think something this big could just pop up. Its going to cost me more than I’m able to come up with. The price just for the clean out is $600. If cancer they would have to remove the leg & thats even more $1500-$5000 or we have to decide to put him down :(
