About this campaign

Our Wulfie came from my husband's brother and sister-in-law from a litter their dogs had. We picked Wulf out at just 2 weeks old and we were in love from that day. He came to live with us permanently at 6 weeks old. Wulf is the absolute light of our lives and we can't imagine our lives without him.

At he beginning of June our Wulfie was hit by a truck while he was outside. We took him to our vet and they thought he a broke leg and back. Took him to emergency vet and they said no broken bones just nerve damage in left from leg. He has not heard and will need a leg amputation. He has started self mutilating that leg and it needs to come off before we lose him.

Our Wulfie is so special. He is incredibly close to my husband who was going through a severe bought of depression when we got him. They are completely bonded to each other. Wulf is also extremely close with our middle dog Zola who kind of became his "mommy". She cares for him like it was her baby. Our whole family would be lost without Wulfie.

This accident was completely unexpected and we have no emergency fund and don't qualify for Care Credit or other funding. We have tried to get feeling back in that leg with no luck and now we are faced with a 1000.00 amputation for his left left that we just can't afford.
