Wyatt is a 5-month-old Mixed Breed Dog in Riverside, CA, who needs $920 for Foxtail Exploratory.

Wyatt came into my life at 4 mos old after a friend of mine could no longer care for him and wasn't sure where to take him. I took him in and we instantly bonded. He provided such amazing comfort to me and my children so much that he has now become my emotional support animal. He spent his Memorial Week in the ER for surgery to drain an abscess under his eye. Now, 16 days later, abscess is back.

Wyatt's bed is right next to my bed. When I sleep, he sleeps. He loves naps but lately has been napping more and longer. When he's able and in the mood, he loves to play with my 4 children. He loves to steal toys, running laps around the house and yard and absolutely loves giving kisses. When he naps, he loves laying between my legs and cuddling up.

Wyatt's favorite toy is a stuffed Kermit the Frog animal. He will dig through the toy box for it and take it with him all over the house. If he wakes up before me, I've found him standing up against my bed just watching me sleep. Sometimes, he'd give kisses to wake me up. He loves chasing the water hose water and loves to play in the sprinklers with my two younger children.

Wyatt was diagnosed with an abscess under his left eye by Corona Animal ER on 05/31/2022. His eyelid was protruding and his eyeball was barely visible. Then, he went into surgery to have it drained and cleaned. He was on pain medications and antibiotics but the abscess came back and 16 days after, he needs surgery again. Corona Community Veterinary Clinic quoted me but is another hefty amount.

I am currently in school working towards becoming an RN and unable to work full time. I also have 4 children with 1 being in college. Wyatt's first emergency was unexpected but now this second time is even harder. I can't imagine losing Wyatt.
