About this campaign

Wyler came to us on Mother's Day, 2007, just after I had retired from 24 years in the US Air Force. He is a littermate to his brother, Jake. They've been with me ever since. I'm a retired, disabled, veteran and Wyler is a certified Emotional Support Animal. He and Jake are inseparable. Jake is quite healthy and Wyler was too until he developed a serious dental issue in January 2024.

In January, Wyler developed a molar abscess. The abscess is infected and due to this infection, a facial cyst appeared, which is painful and draining puss. My vet in Airway Heights doesn't have the X-ray machine, CT, & Anesthesiologist to properly address his issue. But I was able to find a pet dental specialist in Idaho who is confident she can safely perform the needed oral surgery.

Wyler and his brother Jake love to go on daily runs and respond to "pee-mails." The two are brothers and best buddies, so Jake is not happy that Wyler has not been well. Jake sniffs Wyler's "owie" and is wondering why his brother won't play with him. But Wyler is in a lot of pain and needs his tooth extracted so we can get rid of his infection and get him feeling well again,

Wyler is our beloved family member and means the world to us. It's heartbreaking that the surgery is so expensive. As a disable veteran on a fixed income, it's simply unaffordable, which is why I'm asking for financial support. Jake is looking forward to Wyler being back.
