Xena is a 5 year old Cane Corso pit mix. She has been a member of our family since she was a puppy. I traveled to NC to get her from a friend who couldn't care for her. She lives at home with me and my 3 children.

She is currently at the vet now. Having just completed an ultrasound finding fluid in her lungs, abdomen, and an enlarged liver. Friday they found blood in her urine and some anomalies in her blood work she has lost significant weight since becoming ill. She is a member of our family. The protector of our home. A nanny dog to my children, telling on them when they are up to mischief, barking when they cry. She comes to me in a playful stance and I say "say something" - she tries to talk back to us barking and making all the sounds she can. She is a blessing to have in our lives.
