Xena is a 1-year-old Labrador Retriever in Woodruff, WI, who needs $600 for spay and vaccinations.

I rescued Xena from a home that mistreated and neglected her. She is such a loving girl with many issues due to her rescue situation. She loves her cat brother, Loki, and human brother, Jayden. She is such a playful, sweet, shy girl. She has a come a long after finding her furever home - going from not wanting to be around anyone, to now having many doggie friends.

She has an OBSESSION with shoes, which unfortunately has caused a lot of them to be ruined. Her hooves are her favorite chew toy otherwise. She sleeps at the end of her human moms bed with her at night. During the day she is kenneled due to her separation anxiety which causes her to destroy the home otherwise.

She has a neighborhood 'boyfriend' named Mardu. They love playing together! Her favorite thing to do is sit outside and watch everything around her. During fall, she LOVES playing in the leaf piles and hiding her bones and toys in them. During summer, you can find her staring at the ground while playing with the ants and toads.

She was extremely malnourished upon being rescued, being able to see all of her rib bones. She is now a lean lady who is very healthy. Due to going into her first heat prior to being spayed, she has already had one litter of 10 puppies. She is needing to be spayed so that this does not happen again. Additionally, she is in need of necessary vaccinations.

I had an unexpected major car repair that couldn't be fixed, causing a new vehicle purchase to happen. Due to that, there are not necessary funds to have her seen by her vet to spay and receive vaccinations.
