Xia-lee is a 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier in Clyman, WI, who needs $2,000 for Either CT with surgery or a MRI with surgery..

Xia has been with us since she was about 7 wks old. They were eager to "sell" the liter of pups...she was advertised for $150.00 & by the time we got there all they wanted was $100.00. Was a hard decision between the last two pups & was even harder leaving the other sister behind. I feel we rescued her as the living conditions/area wasn't the greatest. I feel in love with her little spotted nose!

Xia has been very skid-ish...& on alert since the day we brought her home. She loves all her people that live in house...however when someone stops by she gets scared & stays away until she "warms-up" & that has to be on her terms. Her utmost favorite is being outside; as she feels it's free space to run and play! Even in the winter...she doesn't care...she just loves to run & play!

I live w/ two of my children as well as taking care of my grand-daughter. Set on a strict budge that has gotten tighter since Covid. Work has a strict no OT policy & has left no room to be able to save extra money. Xia is a huge part of our family we love her & need help!

Xia started displaying issues right after her 3rd birthday. She has seen the vet, tried chiropractic care, & acupuncture as well as Chinese-Herbal medicine to w/ no results. Since February; she has been unable to defecate or urinate on her own and unable to use her tail. CJ Hasse Vet, Reeseville, WI referred a specialist & I have yet to make the appointment.

Xia is a bit weird! She hates the broom but chases the swifter sweeper! She also hates the vacuum yet chases the lawnmower! Xia insists on chasing her "bro" (a Boston Terrier/12 y.o.) after he poops! Marlee has never been interested in toys/playing w/ other dogs. He is a lazy lay under the covers type-o-guy! After he poops he takes off running & Xia thinks otherwise & chases him making him mad!!!
