About this campaign
I got Yoda from a local animal shelter in Indiana PA Four Footed Friends. I've had him for 6 months and my daughter and son love him when they come here. He is very patient with them considering they are 5 and 6. When the kids are at their moms it's just me and Yoda. He is instantly purring anytime he gets pet or any interaction.
Yoda is very loving to my kids but does need time to feel comfortable with any strangers but usually comes out for a pet at some point. He will always warm everyone's hear that gives him attention. He like to play with his cat toys and loves watching the birds out the windows. He loves that laser pointer and always comes running when he heard it jingle.
I am on worker's compensation due to a concussion I had at work this January. I have no other income coming in. My credit is not the greatest but I did try to apply at carecredit for assistance but was denied.
I took Yoda to Indiana Springs Veterinary Clinic in Indiana PA. Dr. Yogi diagnosed his eye with a ulcer and quoted the top end being 2,000.00 for the surgery. But they referred me to a specialist in Pittsburgh.. (PVSEC) Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center. I simply could not afford to take him there to get checked out and any surgery he needs done.
First day I got him I took him to my room to make sure he'd be alright on his 1st night in a new home... Well every since it is very rare of him coming upstairs and is on guard from that door closing. Lol I kinda wanted a bed snuggle but we make up for it on the couch. He honestly has no fear it all.
