Yongie(Dragon) is a 6-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Garland, TX, who needs $400 for Cold Laser Therapy.

I found/rescued yongie when he was around 3-4 weeks old. He has been by my side ever since. Since he was separated from his mom at such a young age he is more prone to diseases but I do my best to take care of him :) He recently lost his vision but still loves to jump around which led him to being diagnosed with feline lvdd due to landing wrong and causing heavy impact on his spinal cord and legs.

Before yongie lost his vision, he was very active and loved going outside. He sometimes had too much fun which led to some minor injuries such as a scar on his right ear. No matter how hard I tried to get him to stay indoors, the baby loved being outdoors, he would run out and greet anyone coming home. He still tries to walk out the front door but soon gets scared and walk back in.

Yongie is very special to me because even though he has been diagnosed with so many things such as kidney stones, lvdd, vision loss, feline uti, he is a fighter and is still the most positive and sweet boy. Ever since I brought him home he will greet everyone in my family by rubbing against our legs. He is very affectionate and follows me around everywhere I go which melts my heart.

I’ve been taking yongie to our veterinarian and recently we’ve been visiting every week for his laser therapy treatments :( We were told Lvdd does not go away but with the help of laser therapy 2x/week , it can help deswell/relieve a lot of pain and keep the joints from flaming up even more.

I am a full time college student and I travel 45 minutes to and from school daily. I have a part time job as a hostess which helps me cover gas money and vet visits. I have been trying my best to pay for yongie’s laser therapy sessions to relieve him from spinal & joint pain
