Yuzu is a 5-year-old American Short Hair Cat in Cerritos, CA, who needs $2,000 for Cystotomy.

Yuzu has been a stray most of his life, he’s also TNR + PU survivor. Yuzu is currently undergoing treatment for crystals and struvite stones and suffers from FLUTD.

Yuzu loves pizza and chicken just like his dad. When he was living outside we’d always find him playing with a lizard/grasshoppers. He used to always sleep out in the dirt and comes running whenever we’re outside. After his PU surgery, he loves to cuddle and is very affectionate.

Yuzu loves to be praised whether it’s drinking water or eating, he’ll wag his tail with happiness because he loves being told he’s a good boy. He loves to cuddle and will sleep next to your butt to stay warm, he loves being the little spoon.

Currently yuzu is undergoing surgery to remove his stones and we’re hoping it’ll give him a better life where he can thrive and life his best life. He can only eat prescription food to prevent future stones.

Surgery and all of his medical bills has put us in a difficult financial situation where we’re struggling to just get by, living paycheck to paycheck has been difficult but yuzu has been making the love and joy that makes him worth it.
