Z has been my absolute best friend for the last 16 years and it would mean the world to me to get help with this life saving surgery! I adopted her in October of 2009 during a both pivotal and transformative chapter of my life. We have been two peas in a pod ever since as she has never left my side. She has shown me a new level and type of love I'm so grateful to get to experience.

Overall, Z has had great health in her senior years, but started experiencing some symptoms this year that I spent an immense amount of money and time to find the right diagnosis and provide her with relief. Although her blood tests look great, she was diagnosed with a tumor on her spleen and needs to get it removed. Therefore, she needs a splenectomy at Shoreline Central Animal Hospital.

Z is the most fiercely loyal and affectionate cat. She is constantly purring with little squeals in between, loves to head butt and cuddle, and has absolutely unmatched sass. I have severe chronic medical problems myself, and she has saved me during multiple medical episodes. She is extremely wary of strangers, but with time and love once she opens up, the level of love is unmatched.

I am in severe financial strain due to my own severe chronic medical problems. This led to a job loss, temporary unemployment, and difficulty earning enough money to meet my basic needs. I have cancelled my upcoming doctor's appointments for myself to focus resources on Z.
