Zena is a Bully and companion dog to Leo who suffers from Aphasia since he had a stroke. Due to difficulties with communication and memory, Zena provides emotional support, helps with communication and non verbal skills. Aphasia is isolating, so she has improved Leos quality of life and well being.

Zena has been experiencing digestive problems the last few days and has some type of bowel obstruction. Her symptoms : refuses to eat, stomach pain, constipation

Zena, is very special because she helps Leo communicate and stay calm when words are hard to say. She knows when he is frustrated and sits by Leos side for comfort. Zena understands hand signals and gestures, which makes daily tasks much easier. At home, Zena interacts with the family in a way that brings everyone happiness
