6 year shepherd mix Zeppelin was abandoned with heartworm and needs help with treatment

Zeppelin’s story begins with heartbreak. This sweet boy was cruelly dumped and left to fend for himself. Alone and desperate for love, he was seen trying to jump into anyone’s car—just hoping someone would take him in.

When D&A Animal Rescue saved him, it was clear how much he had suffered. Zeppelin was covered in fleas, unneutered, and the vet confirmed what we feared: he is full of worms and tested heartworm positive.

Despite everything, Zeppelin’s spirit shines through. He is gentle, loving, and ready to give his whole heart to anyone who shows him kindness. But before he can find his forever family, he needs lifesaving medical care. Heartworm treatment is long, painful, and very expensive—but it’s the only way Zeppelin can live a healthy, happy life.
