Zeppy is a 16-year-old Tabby in Yukon, OK, who needs $500 for dental cleaning.

Zeppy came into my life in the fall of 2004. She was supposed to be my son's cat but that didn't work out so I took her. She's been with me ever since. When she was 3 years old she suffered from bladder stones and had to have surgery to remove them. Again, at 4 years old she once again had bladder stones. Another surgery! She's been a great and healthy cat since that time.

Zeppy is very much a loner. She likes attention but it has to be on her terms. It is just she and I. She's my pal at home. She doesn't like strangers. If someone else comes into my home she runs and hides under the bed. She has been a very happy cat and never mean. Not many people have met her as she likes to hide.

Last time she had her teeth cleaned it was around $300. Today when I called I was quoted $500.00. I am hardly surviving and I just feel awful that she has such a mess of tartar on her teeth. It's so bad she won't eat dry food anymore and will only eat soft food.

Zeppy currently is in desperate need of teeth cleaning. I had it done 3-1/2 years ago and she has needed it done for at least a year. I am not making as much money as I used to and have quite a large debt load. Sometimes I can barely take care of myself. Her vet is Family Pet Hospital in Edmond, OK. Treating vet is Dr. Wendy Bray.

Zeppy is a special cat as she is my only roommate. She makes me laugh when she sits up like a prairie dog. I call her my prairie cat! She also "talks" to me. She likes to meow when I talk to her and we can keep it going for quite a while. She is great company after a long and stressful day, Sweet girl.
