About this campaign
Zero was a friends cat, who no longer wanted to be his owner. My boyfriend took him in and he has been with us for over 2 years. Zero is a character to say the least. He has a spicy personality and isn’t afraid to show it. He is a special boy to both my boyfriend and I. His sweet and sour self is a need in our life.
Zero is a loner. He likes to be by himself when it comes to our other pets. When it comes to his dad, you can tell how much he loves him. Anytime zeros dad walks into a room, he darts to get lovin. Zero also loves his food. That boy can and will eat and will make it known when he is ready to be fed.
My boyfriend and I can not afford the $4000-$7000 surgery needed to help fix zeros thorax duct that is leaking fluid into his chest. There was non surgical treatment options provided to us, but it is no longer working.
Zero was diagnosed with idiopathic Chylothorax. He has continuous fluid build up in his chest. We have to get him chest tapped every 3-7 days, depending how fast it refills. There is surgery options at Kansas State Veterinary clinic, but is estimated to be $4000-$7000, depending what they do inside of him, and potentially adding a plural port.
Zero was a cat we never were looking for. My boyfriend and I are cat lovers, so when he needed a new home, we knew we’d take him in. We love how spicy his personality is. He is a grumpy boy, and that’s what makes us laugh. You will constantly giggle when it comes to him and how sour he can be. You can see it in his eyes.
