Zeus is a 4-year-old terrier mix dog in Cherry hill , NJ, who needs $2,000 for ACL surgery.

Zeus was a stray dog that we adopted from a shelter almost 3years ago, he was a very scared and nervous dog until we brought him home. Zeus brings so much joy to our family as well as our friends. He lives with our family of five and we all love him so much, he loves to cuddle and sleep with us! We have a huge yard where he loves to run around collect sticks and sun bathe on the deck

Zeus loves to sleep next to us, he loves to follow us to our bedroom and night and cuddle with us, Zeus loves to play around in the snow and enjoys walks in the neighborhood. Zeus also loves to play with my younger brother, and gets along well with everybody! He is the most loving and caring dog anybody could ever ask for.

Zeus loves to howl with us and he loves to play ball! Most of all he loves giving kisses! When I come home from a long day at work Zeus always greets me at the door with an actual smile on his face, he shows all of his teeth and wags his tail and that’s the best part of coming home after a long day.

Recently I had to take Zeus to the emergency vet after he started limping randomly. The vet told us that he had tore his ACL on the right back leg and is required surgery. I was very upset when I heard this and the whole family is devastated. It’s very hard seeing zeus not act like himself anymore. It’s also very upsetting to not be able to play and run around with him. Red bank hospital NJ

This situation was very unexpected, surgery did not cross our minds. And the surgery being around 3-5k is a lot, especially when needed in such a short amount of time. Our family as a whole is trying our best, but it’s just not cutting it.
