Jessica W. is a single mom and an active member of the Air Force. When she was stationed in Germany, she got Zeus, and he quickly became her kids' best friend.

"Zeus is my baby," Jessica tells Waggle. "He sleeps with the kids and me every night, and he is always by my side. He loves playing fetch and is obsessed with balls. My kids like to play keep-away with his favorite ball, and when he finally gets it from them, he will hide it from them so they cannot play anymore. It’s the cutest thing."

Now the family is stationed in Colorado Springs, and two days ago, Zeus started screaming in pain. They rushed him to the Animal Emergency Specialty Center.

"He has paralysis from the waist down and no bowel control. We drove to Denver to see a neurologist and find out exactly what is going on. We need to have an MRI done and then possibly surgery. He is currently taking steroids and pain medication to keep him comfortable and is on strict crate rest," Jessica says.

The scan and surgery are expensive, and Jessica is panicked and struggling to come up with the money.

"I have been in the military for almost eleven years," she says. "As anyone who has kids knows, they are quite expensive. I currently don’t have the finances to get him an MRI. I can pay for half of it. I am so grateful for every donation to help my sweet boy."

Please help Zeus get back on his feet again!
