Zeus is a 10-year-old Pitbull in Harvest, AL, who needs $2,000 for Mass removals and biopsies.

Zeus came into our lives because a friend of mine sent me his picture and I knew I wanted him so I begged my fiancé now husband to please go with me to meet him. We set up a meet and greet and we took him home with us that day and he's been with us almost 11 years. We have another dog, Sadie, and they love each other so much and hate to be apart from each other. He's the sweetest dog we know.

Zeus LOVES to go on walks/runs around our neighborhood or the greenway near our home. He likes to chase the football or soccer ball across the backyard and he's even popped a few in doing so. He whines like a baby & sticks his lip out & pouts when he wants attention or is jealous. He is food motivated & thinks he's a lap dog. He loves being loved on especially by our 3 year old daughter.

This is an unexpected expense and myself and my husband are self employed. COVID has hit us pretty hard and we haven't been able to save like we've previously been able to & we don't currently qualify for unemployment. We cant bare the thought of not having him in our lives.

We found out a week ago that Zeus most likely has a mass in the mucosa areas around his rectum along with a few other lumps/possible masses on his leg and abdomen that require surgery to correct and biopsy. His veterinarian is Dr. Harry Pennington at Pennington Animal Hospital and the specialist who is performing the surgery is Dr. Geoff Harriman at Huntsville Veterinary Specialists & Emergency.

Zeus's best friend is our other dog, Sadie. The are inseparable. Zeus was 3-4 years old when we rescued Sadie and she used to/still does beat up on him and he just lays there and takes it. They play together and with our 3 year old daughter. He whines like a baby when he wants attention or is jealous and even sticks out his bottom lip and pouts and it's hilarious!
