Zeus is a 3-year-old German Shepherd in Monroe , MI, who needs $2,000 for Amputation.

Zeus came into my life 2 years ago, he had been taken in by two families and neither wanted him or could care for him. They made one more attempt at rehoming him once again he was returned to the previous owners. When I first met him, he was attached to me as I was him. He had been starved, beaten and neglected. My husband and I decided we were his furever home.

Zeus absolutely loves his brothers, mom and dad. He loved running around and playing with our other dogs and at night he loves snuggling with mom and dad.

Zeus has the best personality I’ve ever seen in a dog, it does not matter how hurt, sick or tired he is he will still love on you, give you kisses and cuddles. He’s always made me feel better when I’m in times of distress.

Zeus was in a dog fight in 2021 and suffered severe trauma to his front right leg as a result, we were given the option of amputation but at that time financially it was out of the question. Zeus recently broke this same leg and amputation is our only option to give our sweet baby the best possible quality of life.

This is a sudden emergency expense that we were not prepared for, we just had to use our savings to pay for my husband to get a new vehicle for work and we were not expecting for our dog to break his leg. To have Zeus healthy is as important to me as someone’s child to them.
