Zeus is a 1.5-year-old English Bulldog in Saucier, MS, who needs $1,500 for Exploratory Surgery.

I got Zeus as a tiny 8 week old baby. He has 4 pet siblings. He is 1 year and 5 months and he is such a joy to have. He is an English Bulldog that came from somewhere in Louisiana. He is UTD on all shots and gets regular veterinary care. He recently battled an abscess on his neck, so his luck isn't the best.

Zeus is the wild boy. He has so much energy. I swear he never stops. He is the one we have to keep a close eye on because he is always looking to get into something. But he is so lovable. he loves to be snuggled like a baby. He likes to play with his pet siblings that are close in age to him. And he likes cats.

Zeus is the crazy boy of the family. He is goofy and silly and full of life. He is a little on the clumsy side. He isn't scared of anything and everywhere is an adventure. He doesn't run like a regular dog. He runs like and a rabbit and he's probably the fastest dog we have. He absolutely loves people. He loves attention. Every time people walk by he lifts his front paw as if to say, "look at me!"

Zeus is currently at the veterinary hospital because he ate a collar. The whole entire collar. The buckle caused a blockage that he wasn't able to pass so that required emergency surgery. He is doing good so far. But he isn't expected to come home for 5 days for further observation. Tomorrow night the vet will allow him to eat to see how he does. Hopefully he makes a full recovery.

I just recently in the last 3 months was forced to take a lower paying job. We can afford to pay up t $500 towards his surgery but are needing help with the remainder. He has way too much life in him to just give up.
