Zippy is a 3 year old Cardigan Welsh Corgi in Colorado Springs, CO, who needs $5,600 for MRI.

Before I even saw or met Zippy I already had the name picked out. I just loved the name Zippy for a dog. I had just moved out of my parent’s house, it had not even been a week and I realized I needed a dog. I found a corgi breeder and immediately fell in love with this puppy. Zippy ended up fitting her perfectly and she is now the best dog I could ever ask for.

Zippy has had back issues for over a year that has gotten significantly worse within the last month. She is dragging her back hind leg. My favorite part of the day is to walk her and I haven’t been able to do that recently. Zippy needs an MRI to get a diagnosis and her insurance is denying paying for it. The hospital is Animal Emergency and Speciality center in Parker Colorado.

Zippy is so friendly with all other animals and people of all ages . She loved everyone and had the best personality. She doesn’t bark only whines when she wants to play or needs some cuddles! She never leaves my side and makes everyday full of light and smiles. Zippy is loved by all!!

I pay $90 a month for pet insurance and they are refusing to cover her MRI cost. The MRI is $5,600. It will also be able to tell us if she needs surgery. I just finished school and am saving for a house and wedding.
