ZOEY is a 9-year-old Pomeranian in Lancaster, CA, who needs $2,000 for Medical Plate Removal of Right Rear Leg.

Zoey was a gift my friend got for her to love and cherish. She took to me from day one and has made me her person and I've had her since 14 wks old. I'm disabled and she is my trained service dog. Recently we were homeless for 9 months in severe conditions. We were in an accident in Oct. 2021 that almost killed us both. After a botched knee surgery at 6 mos. old, we lost our home during Covid.

Zoey and I recently got help and now have a home. She loves everyone and is an example of God's love and how I can apply it to my life. In spite of all her bad experiences in life, she is just happy to work for me and please her Daddy. When tears have fallen she was there to lick them dry. She is the greatest joy on earth I have found. She supports me emotionally and is a big part of my Recovery.

Zoey goes above and beyond alerting me when I am dizzy or lose my clarity from the accident and reminding me of stuff I forget. She finds keys for me reminds me to put seat belt on and in her own way reminds me to pray in the morning and at night when going to bed. She never complains. She is a teacher in a four-legged body. She's my best friend.

Zoey requires the removal of 2 pins in her left leg that are pushing threw the skin on her knee. This is causing her great pain and fear of infection is emenite. Without surgery, putting her down is the alternative. She has too much life left in her to do something like that plus she doesn't deserve something like that either. The righ leg due to overuse now requires patella surgery as well. Help.
