My boyfriend Sam wanted a pup around 8 years ago. He decided to rescue a pup from the Humane Society. When he walked through the “puppy” section, he saw a puppy that was not so little. He said she was the only one that wasn’t barking and making a fuss. He knew then he wanted her. He had to carry her because she wouldn’t walk out with him. Three years ago, I came in to Sam, Blake, and Zoeys life.

Zoey sleeps on her orthopedic bed that I bought from Chewy when she first tore her left ACL. When Sam leaves the bed, she gets in bed with me because she is in love with me. She loves me so much, she refused to go outside or leave the room until I get up and let her out. Sam calls for her and she stays by my side. She is my girl and I want her to have the best life. She has a lab sister who is 4.

Sam and I make a decent living. However, we have a good amount of debt that we need to pay off. We have no savings account and this hit us out of nowhere. We did not expect it to be this much. If we pay it, it will take all we have.

Zoey tore her left ACL about a year ago and had good/bad days. The vet said it would potentially heal on its own. About a month ago, I was snowing out & she was playing hard with her sister. When she walked back in, she was dragging her right leg. The vet said she had a torn meniscus & a tore ACL in both. VET: Dr. Albert Mt. Washington Animal Clinic.

Zoey has so many things that make me happy. My favorite is when we say “Zoey, do you wanna” and she tilts her head so far.. She is my dingy girl. She licks everything ! Haha. I am definitely her Best friend along with her brother Blake (4 year old son) & her sister (4 year old lab.) She does love her daddy a lot too. She loves all & you wouldn’t know she was hurt if she wasn’t dragging her legs.
