Zoey was given to me from an acquaintance when she was 7 year old. I was hesitant on adopting her, but I could not let her go to a shelter or continue on in her current situation. Zoey and I have been together for the past 7 years. We have both grown old together! She is the queen of the house!

Zoey is suffering from late stage periodontal disease. This past week her front bottom right canine tooth became dislodged. The tooth moved back and forth in her mouth and finally fell out but her gum has been bleeding on and off with inflammation. Her smile is now crooked from the loss of the tooth and she is in pain. Zoey has also had two seizures in the past year.

Zoey has been my cherished companion since I got her. As I am now 80, us two have grown old together. She loves her other family members just as much. Zoey is terrified of thunder and fireworks. However, she loves car rides, bike rides, and walks! She has been a comfort on those disappointing days.

Over the past year I have been battling cancer. Also, I am a retired widow on a fixed income. I have used my emergency fund on Zoey's last vet visits for her unexpected seizures. Having Zoeys health restored will bring her out of her depressing painful demeanor.
