Zuko is a 1 year old German Shepherd Dog in Cincinnati, OH, who needs $1,500 for Follow Up Exams for Injuries Due to Being Hit by Car.

Zuko came into my life on January 26th this year when I adopted him from the SPCA. They had little info on him since he came from a euthanasia place. We've been together for 6 months, and he's turned my life around. Zuko heals my inner child. He's my first pet, though I've always been around dogs. My cousin's German Shepherd passed in March 2023. Zuko is a German Shepherd mix with a terrier.

On June 15th around 2:00 pm, Zuko got off his leash and was hit by oncoming traffic. A speeding driver in our neighborhood did not stop. Zuko ended up with two broken front legs and had to get splints on both. One leg and paw are worse, making it hard for him to walk, use the bathroom, run, play, or go to daycare at Dogtown. He can't go back until he’s fully healed, which will take about 4-8 weeks

Zuko is special to me because he heals a place in my heart that he didn't break. He has shown me what unconditional love and loyalty are truly like. Zuko is friendly and such a sweet boy, also my guardian angel. He's perfect with babies and gets along well with other animals. I know he is so missed by his friends at DOGTOWN.
