Lollie

Lollie is a 10 year old Poodle in East Greenwich, RI, who needs $2,000 for Cancer Vaccine for Melanoma.

Lollie is puppy mill survivor rescued from a kill shelter in Arkansas. I saw her on Petfinder over10 yrs ago and fell in love. Her foster named her. I adopted Lollie and had her transported to RI when she was 8 wks old. My Dal mix, Maddie, took her under wing and the first lesson was how to do a perimeter. They became best friends. Lollie became alpha and still orders the bigger dogs around. I just lost Maddie. She was 17. The next month, Lollie had the cancer diagnosis. She had a toe tumor. It took a month to see the surgeon for a consult. Lollie was limping and clearly hurting. Dr. David Sweet at Ocean State Veterinary Services in East Greenwich, RI, amputated her toe and removed and biopsied a lymph node and tumor. It was Melanoma, but had not spread yet. I called oncology. Lollie, 26 lbs, once launched herself into the air and scolded a larger dog that had lunged at me. She and Maddie would squeeze into my mom's hospital bed when mom was on hospice. They would not be kept from her. Whether sleeping on her back or trying to look innocent after eating something she shouldn't when said item is clearly in her beard, she makes me laugh. Her tail never stops wagging. Oncologist Caleb Alexander, at OSVS, thinks Lollie should have a cancer vaccine that could extend her life. It's a series of 4 vaccines and a booster. The cost is $1500 per vaccine. Without this treatment, the cancer will spread. I took out $6000 in loans to cover the surgery, funds are now needed for cancer treatment.

Nene is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Port orange , FL, who needs $2,000 for Pyometra.

Nene is 7 years old I got her as a baby. She has brought love and companionship to not only me but my family. She has a son who is 5 who also lives in the household. She is a protector and lover. Nene loves other animals and children. She has a condition called pyometra and needs emergency surgery. Nene was seen at AVS in Daytona and needs surgery asap. Please help me and my baby. Nene needs emergency surgery for pyometra. Her condition could be fatal if left without surgery. She is on antibiotics but refuses to eat. AVS is her emergency hospital where she would receive treatment Nene loves all she is children friendly and animal friendly. She does spins for treats and will cuddle with you at night. She loves to give special kisses when she is happy or sad. If nene doesn’t get surgery soon her condition could rupture and be fatal. I have her on meds but with out her eating it’s hard to get them down she desperately needs this surgery.

May of 2020Oakand came into my life. I love her so much me and her are always forever together. She is the runt. Her dog mother is also family. I had Oakland for 4 yrs. The name Oakland was giving to her by my daughter, But me and Oakland are Bronco fans. Oakland is my beautiful princess. She loved when my kids and grandkids come over. That Smile she loves to get their attention they call her sist On Sept 8th 2024 Oakland all of a sudden couldn't walk or stand up this breaking my heart. I have taken her to a Urgent vet But although having the exam fee I was told that Oakland needs to be sedated and they need to do x-rays and since I don't have $1,500 for this I was told they couldn't do anything for her. I was also told she might have a broken back or leg although No x-rays where token. Her favorite toy is her stuffed pickel my grandson gave her and her stuffed candy cane from me(mom). She loves going with me on scooter rides, dhe is scared of thunder, she likes the grass I remind her not to eat it she ain't a cow.:) I drove every where to ask for help and have been disappointed by No. Financially I can not pay, I'm unemployed and recently graduated high school. I'm 57. I massage her spine and limbs to ease pain. I give her OTC aspirin for pain. I will not give up on her she is family.

Hello I’m here today to introduce my fur baby Sox he has been with me for 15 years. He has been my ride or die pet. We live in Racine wi. He has traveled from Washington state with. He is my best friend. I’m here today to ask for help of any kind for vet bills. Since July 10, 2024 he has been having multiple seizures his first seizure was a gran mall seizure we rushed him to BluePearl emergency vet were he was looked at but we couldn’t further any treatment due to financial reasons. My dog is my world. My Sox has been the joy in my life we have an unbreakable bond. He is big treat eater he loves walks with mom. He loves his family and we want him in our life a lot longer As of right now I’m in a bit of financial hardship going through a bankruptcy do not have the means to pay his bills for treatment. My dog is my world and it would mean the world to me to be able to have help. I would not ever think of asking but this is very unexpected.

When Flynn and I, Duncan's brother, adopted him, all we knew about him was he was abandoned with his siblings near a hunting camp. My granddaughter wanted to name him Duncan because I love coffee, Dunkin Donuts! It was perfect. The three of us live in a tiny house with a nice ya4d for them to play. Duncan has a growth on the back of his right leg, on top of his Achilles tendon. You can see the one picture where there is still hair on it but since we moved to Florida, it has tripled in size. We have gone to three different vets and the lowest estimate was 230.00. The heat really inflames it. Because so close to the tendon makes it more expensive, they all saya Duncan was a throw-away Covid puppy. Love at first site when I saw him on the rescue site. He doubled in size in 6 months and had so much energy! He has three hound dogs in his DNA so he has quite a bark! He is a gentle giant! We moved to Florida to be with my mother when my dad died. He is twice her size and loves her so much. So sweet and gentle. I am a divorced woman with my two fur boys. Moved from my home in GA to Florida to be closer to my mom when my father died. Rent is double in price, food is double, car insurance is double and nurses make half the money I made in GA. It has been rough to make ends meet.

We found MJ the same week we lost our 7 year old dog to IMHA. While we weren’t looking for another dog, my friend sent me a video of her with her siblings who already had homes waiting for them. I took our 2 year old at the time (now 4) to meet her and we fell in love and brought her home. She has 2 fur sisters- Bella a 12 year old olde English bulldog and Amaris a 8 year old heeler/lab mix. MJ loves to wrestle & play with her human brother and her fur sisters when she can get them to. She is funny, quirky and so sweet. She likes to snuggle her human dad in the recliner chair, and she loves to keep the chair to herself whenever she can! She patrols the yard for birds and squirrels and makes sure none enter the yard. She loves toys & will greet you every time you enter the room w/ one. Mj will put her front feet on you and her snout up for a kiss on her nose. She will also come behind you and just stick her snout in your hand at any moment. She loves to tear up stuffed toys and then play with just the fabric piece and she has a thing about littler toys. She especially loves to carry those around. MJ has toxic epidermal Necrolysis from an adverse antibiotic reaction at her primary vet. She is at Auburn University being treated by Dr. Levi. She is now about to be transferred from internal med to their surgical/wound care side. She has quite a long road to recovery with her skin but she has made huge strides in less than 2 weeks. We spent $3k at our primary vet before we could get MJ out to transfer her to Auburn. Once there, we gave them a $2k deposit. We are looking at owing them another $8,000 before she can come home. We don’t expect anyone to cover our bill, but any kind of help would be huge.

Kona came from her friend at five weeks old. I saw her instantly and fell in love. Kona has a younger sister named tater, who is a Boston terrier and is her best friend. She has an old cat sister, named Simon, and recently, while hiking, we found a kitten, barely alive at four weeks old now itty-bitty. Kona loves to hike, Chase, lizards, run and play and fetch sticks. She is infatuated with all water & mud!! She is such a goofball as a boxer mix. I say she has ADHD times 10. She’s crazy happy all the time. Pouting when she wants when she get what she wants. All four animals sleep with me and Kona. Usually the one under the covers. Kona is my everything, as all my fur babies have always been. I try to take them everywhere as much as possible and they’re usually taken care of before I am. We camp, hike, swim and she even gets on my canoe.(is quite funny) I don’t know what I would do without her.. Long story short Black Canyon Vet clinic Dr. Jacob said she had a torn cruciate and surgery was the only pain-free guarantee and the surgery is quite pricey Desperately needing surgery and I currently have no income. Having surgery would restore my faith and knowing she has a long life left. Please find it in your heart to help me. I can’t stand watching her suffer as it breaks my heart knowing she is in crippling pain.

Lucas is a 6-year-old Lab Mix in El Paso, TX, who needs $1,628 for 3 Heartworm Injections.

Lucas was rescued from being dumped and left to die in the desert. He was found with many ticks and now is diagnosed with heartworms. He is such a sweet, loving, gentle giant who loves to give me never-ending kisses. He is so grateful for being rescued & now being adopted by me. He is one of 8 dogs I have rescued and also adopted. Most were dumped/emancipated looking for food on the streets. Lucas and my 7 other rescued dogs now have a loving home (my home), a huge backyard to play and sleep inside where they feel safe in their bedded crates. He is very affectionate to all family members, giving lots of kisses and gives his paw on his own. He gets so excited when it's feeding time. He licks his lips and slurps as I am about to serve him his food. He is not a picky eater but a very grateful one. He is also very expressive with his eyes and face. He loves back scratches and will come over to me, hunching his back while bouncing his hips to let me know he wants back scratches. I am doing what I can and was able to get his chest x-ray and start him on heartguard and doxycycline that only kills larvae, not adult worms. He needs 3 injections that will kill the adult heartworms. I became disabled after major surgery and was unable to work for almost a year. I am single and with the help of God, I am the only one caring for my rescues. I no longer own a car. City handicapped bus is my ride. I don't want to put Lucas down. Fixed income. Remote tutor.
