Penny

Penny is a 10 year old Chihuahua in Murrieta, CA, who needs $2,000 for Cholecystectomy.

Murrieta, CA

Penny, our 10-year-old Chihuahua, came into our lives just months after my husband’s mother passed. From the start, we’ve felt she was more than just a pet—she was sent from Heaven to help him cope with the loss. For 10 years, Penny has been his loyal, unwavering companion. Other than this one life-threatening issue, she’s the healthiest, most loving dog, bringing light and comfort to our family. After hours of vomiting and not eating, we took Penny to the vet, worried about what might be wrong. After multiple tests, X-rays, and an ultrasound, we were devastated to learn Penny has a mass in her gallbladder that may be cancerous. She needs a Cholecystectomy to remove her gallbladder and prevent the cancer from spreading, so she can continue living the long, healthy life she deserves. Despite her breed, Penny has only barked a handful of times. She’s the friendliest dog you’ll ever meet—we joke that she’d follow a stranger no matter what! Always by our side, she's so close we forget she’s not an extension of us. She adores turkey slices, sunbathing & road trips to Las Vegas. At 9, she proved “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks” wrong by learning the command “DANCE". As a single-income household due to my disability, and after Penny’s diagnosis, we’ve exhausted all that we have for her care. Penny is otherwise healthy, and this treatment could give us up to 8 more beautiful years together. She’s fighting hard, and we want to help her win

Duncan

Duncan is a 12-year-old Papillion in Seabrook, NH, who needs $2,000 for Perianal Gland Tumor Removal.

Seabrook, NH

Duncan was purchased at a local pet shop after my husband and I visited several times, it was meant to be for us to purchase him. Duncan is an ACA certified Papillon and lives with both my husband and I along with our cat. He did have his best friend Dakota (large chocolate lab) who passed on last year (2023). Duncan loves his bed, the couch, our bath mats, etc! He can make himself comfortable wherever in our home. Duncan is fun, loving and super cuddly. He gets along great with all people, sometimes too much of a social butterfly! Duncan is our fur baby as we do not have any children of our own. He loves our nieces and nephews and enjoys playing with them. He is very loved and means the world to us. Duncan’s favorite toy is his “Lamb Chop”. He cannot get enough of it! He also has a blast playing with our new addition to the family “Runtz”, who is a kitten. His favorite food is the “Moist and Meaty” soft food. He surprisingly likes when I groom him with the buzzer. He can speak, sit, lay down and twirl. He sleeps with his tongue out and with give you endless amounts of kisses! Duncan has struggles over time with his Anal Glands. At one point he had impacted anal glands and received surgery for it. As time went on the spot to the right of his anus started to turn into a bump and when he started chewing at it, he created a hole. We took Duncan to the vet and we were told that he would need surgery again, but this time it was to remove a tumor and would cost nearly $5,700. This is a sudden major expense for both my husband and I. We do not want to see Duncan suffer. We are afraid it could lead to worse symptoms if not taken care of. We love him so much. He’s such a good boy and needs the help before he gets too sick. He is so loved, so much.

Georgia

Georgia is a 10-year-old Pug in Laramie, WY, who needs $900 for Tooth Extraction and Dental Cleaning.

Laramie, WY

Georgia was given me to me by my cousin when she was 6 months old. She lives in a house with myself, my wife 2 adult children and 2 other dogs. Nova who is 3 years old is Georgia’s best friend! They love to cuddle, sleep together and Nova keeps her young by always playing with her. Nova is also very protective of Georgia. Georgia is a very loving and affectionate dog. She loves having some sort of body contact majority of the time. She’s spends the majority of her time sleeping and cuddling with whoever will allow her to as close as possible. Georgia will twirl in circles, love food in general but especially loves popcorn and cheese. When you talk to her she tilts her head back and forth as if she is actually listening and huffs as if she is responding. Georgia has always been difficult when it comes to brushing her teeth. She doesn’t like her mouth touched, with this she has developed some tooth decay and is currently in need of a tooth extraction and deep cleaning. She had a difficult time eating her food and is in pain most of the time as the infection flares up. We live in Laramie WY and the name of the veterinarian clinic is Gem City. Our family recently decided to open a new business and we have had to put all of our financial efforts into sustaining the business and the household. We could use some help with these costs to help Georgia feel better.

Buster

Buster is a 5-year-old Pitbull/Labrador in LaGrange, GA, who needs $1,031 for Heartworm Treatment.

LaGrange, GA

Buster came into our lives working on our boat. I noticed his ribs were showing and he acted hungry. I've always had a dog,but not at this time. Just retired from driving truck OTR. Went to get dog food and he gobbled it up. It was going to be 27 degrees that night,so I took him home. Figured I'd check with the office at the marina next morning to see if anybody was looking for him. No one claimed Buster. We live with other people that share a house. There's 2 other dogs and they all get along. Busters happy place is at the marina where he showed up at. He likes to run, play fetch, and be my guard dog when I'm at the boat. He sits, shakes a paw on command. He slept on the floor first but now sleeps in bed next to me. He's my protector. Buster likes to make me laugh. If I'm busy and ignoring him he'll come and look at me and paw at me to get attention. We'll play fetch with his favorite toy. He sleeps up in bed besides me. He'll give me doggy kisses and loves to be brushed. He likes his dog treats when he's a good boy. He'll shake to get his treats. We took Buster to get his rabies shot and check up. We already gave him his other shots. After his exam we were told he already has heartworms. So we started his treatment. He is worth every penny I spend!! We are both living on retirement. His treatment is more than my retirement. He is worth saving and I love him. He brings me joy and happiness and I want to do whatever it takes to save him!

Ash

Ash is a 7-year-old Siberian Husky in West Allis, WI, who needs $2,000 for Thoracotomy.

West Allis, WI

We welcomed Ash as a member of our family 7 years ago. He is and always will be our first baby. He lives with us, Chris, Liz, and two children along with two furry siblings our cat Harlow and puppy Jax Four months ago, we lost his husky sister, Ruby at 5 years old to an untreatable bone cancer. He has been there with us through that period of grief and we emotionally got through it together. Ash is the eldest but also the baby in the house. He loves to play with his Great Dane younger brother, Jax. Our 6 and 3 year old daughters love to cuddle up with Ash. He spends all of his time indoors with us in our house during the summer. But in the winter, his husky nature comes out and he stays outside all day long! Like I said, he loves to be with his four legged friends, Jax(Great Dane puppy) and Harlow( rescued calico cat). He has a special bond with Chris and I and the girls. We enjoys having his alone time, but will never turn down a good scratch behind his ears. He loves to be vocal and howl when it is time for one of his favorite bones or treats. A few days ago, Ash was diagnosed with a spontaneous pneumothorax, or collapsed lung. Air is escaping from his lung causing excess air to pour into his chest cavity. The pressure from this air restricts his lungs from being able to help him breathe. The ER vet has placed a temporary chest tube port so that we can physically excrete this air from his chest 4x a day. Due to Ash’s condition, we were given an unexpected $10,000 estimate for this surgery to save his life. Please consider helping us in saving our baby and giving him a long healthy life.

Morty

Morty is a 5-year-old German Shepherd in Tucson , AZ, who needs $1,450 for Mass Removal.

Tucson, AZ

My husband and I purchased Morty when he was 7.5 weeks old. We found out we were pregnant shortly after. My daughter is quite attached to Morty. He is a very important member of our family. He is kind and gentle. He loves all. Cares for my daughter. We just can not imagine our life without him in it. Morty likes to sleep in our door ways at night time. He loves his kennel. We have made it his safe space with a blanket and his favorite toy. He absolutely hates car rides. He loves cuddling in bed with us and chasing the cat. He runs down the hallway with my daughter and barks at everything that passes by our door. Morty isn't really afraid of anything. He barks at things that pass by our doors. He wants to play with every dog that passes by him. His best friend is a 3 legged dog named Dixie who he absolutely adores. His head tilt when you talk to him makes everyone laugh. His groomers fight over who will give him a bath cause he gives kisses while they rinse him. Morty has a quarter sized growth on his front paw. The growth needs to be removed and tested to make sure that it isn't more serious than a growth. The growth hasn't attached itself to any muscle yet and the vet is optimistic that she can save his paw. But the sooner we get this growth removed the better. We just moved across country to help with the care of my aging grandparents. We also just started new jobs and haven't rebuilt our emergency fund. We are trying everything we can for Morty

Amigo

Amigo is a 2-month-old Bernadoodle in Little Egg Harbor, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Parvo Treatment-24 Hour Care and Isolation.

Little egg harbor, NJ

Amigo arrived to our home 5am Friday November 11th from a breeder in Kentucky. He was so excited to meet me and I felt the same. So many kisses! He immediately wanted to play with my other dog whos a little bit a grumpy old man but he took to him too. We have 3 kids but only one, my 4 yr old, was able to meet him the first day. She couldn't get enough of him! Love at first sight! I do not really have much to go off of as I only had him 3 days before he went into the hospital. But everyone loved him including my husband who is not a dog person but they quickly took naps together. He slept in our bed the first night but then he did very well as we started crate training him. He didn't give too much fuss and was asleep in no time He loves tp play with toys which is a big difference from my 10yr old dog who is more of a lap dog then a playful one. The kids were so excited to see how much he wanted to play and knew he was going to be so much fun to grow up with. He loves his belly rubbed and he loves to snuggle. I love his caramel eyebrows He has parvo. He needs 24 hour isolation care that costs about $1500 a night. He has already been there for 5 days and needs more time but we just cannot afford it ourselves anymore. We would like him to come home and be back to him normal playful self but he's not ready to come home yet. We were not prepared to have this expense at all and we have 3 kids to care for and a house and cars. We got insurance for him but it was not in force when this all happened so they wont help. We just want him home to be with his family again.

Fluff

Fluff is a 9-month-old Pitbull in Albuquerque, NM, who needs $400 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

Albuquerque, NM

Fluffs mom rejected her when she had just barely opened her eyes at 3 weeks old. I bottle fed her into the growing pup she was turning into and she has since stolen my heart entirely. She has become mine and my girlfriends snuggle bug, our protector, our biggest pain in the butt to date. Shes suddenly ill and we dont have the money to take her to an emergency clinic. Please Help!! Fluff has managed to demand the focus of eveyone she comes into contact with. She is wonderful with people as well as with other dogs. Especially with pups. She's been trained to catch any treat thats tossed her way and if she hears the sound of a can of whipped cream she goes bonkers and fully expects a taste from the can! She brings us so much joy and love. She has to play tug of war when we're out for a walk. Almost to the point of frustration. However when we're heading back from our walk and its time to go up the stairs to the apartment, she grabs her leash and is told to "head on up". She gets her leash in her mouth and leads the way up the stairs and to the apartment with such pride. Friday fluff began to show some signs of irregularity. She had pooped in the house a few times. We had put her in her kennel before leaving to run errands and upon return Fluff had pooped in her kennel as well as threw up. She since hasnt really eaten at all, and she can barely hold down water. We have an appointment at good shepherd tomorrow at 3pm I'm in between jobs at the moment and am having a rough time with my finances. The thought of losing her makes my soul ache and even more so the thought of her feeling this miserable breaks me as well. I would be forever greatful for the help. I need Fluff more than she know

Kalamazoo, MI

Meet Alexa, I got her at 15 week's old, 4 month's after I lost my other female to Bloat, and as a companion to my male. I got her spayed at the age of 6 months, so of course she has put on weight, she is a very sweet soul has all sorts of personality and is very loving not a mean bone in her body, and I'm pretty sure she has the soul of my other female inside her. She has ripped her ACL.... She loves to lay on the coffee table and watch the camera and bark at any kind of movement she loves to eat and steal cookies from her brother she loves the lounge on the couch and take naps she loves to watch TV in the bedroom she loves to watch animals on TV she loves stuffed animals and won't allow her brother to play with any of them she thinks everything belongs to her yes she is very spoiled She is extremely intelligent and very vocal she is terrified of thunderstorms she is a big baby when it comes to foreign things very shy and timid when it comes to people she does not know but once she warms up to them all she wants to do is give kisses and lay across your lap for belly rubs. The vet I take her to absolutely loves her even the groomer for a nail cut loves her. She has recently been placed in the care of Schoolcraft Veterinary Clinic and has ripped her ACL and the surgery is $5,000, once X-rays were done the vet said the other one was starting to rip I cried when I got the phone call from the results from the X-rays I cannot afford that, I asked them to put her down but they refused and said medication will help her until I can save up. Financially I cannot afford to pay $5,000 for her surgery, I also have doctor bills I am trying to pay for myself, I live alone and am trying to do the best I can but she really needs the surgery done in order to have a better quality of life
