Hello all!! My sweet, playful, and loving fur baby Kaden came to me nine years ago. A friend of the family had four puppies that needed homes and it was history from there. A year later I was informed that Kaden was the only one stilling living. He is a mixed Chihuahua/Shih Tzu breed and boy is he full of energy!! Kaden loves to take car rides and thinks anytime someone leaves he should be going. Lol! Squeaky toys are his absolute favorite. My father was diagnosed with cancer and its like Kaden knew something wasn't right bc he doesn't leave his side. Kaden sleeps with him and follows my dad every move. Kaden is normally a mommy's boy but he has brought so much comfort to my dad during these trying times. Kaden is amazing!! I know everyone says that about their child but since he was a puppy he has been awesome. He has never chewed, scratched, or tour up anything that wasn't his toys and this is without any training. I must say he is very good at manipulating everyone into feeding him all the goodies. Kaden has a mass/ tumor on his back. The mass/tumor is over 8 cm. The mass/tumor is extremely painful and extremely irritating for Kaden. He needs surgery. it is bleeding a lot and I'm having a hard time keeping it bandaged and covered because Kaden keeps finding ways to remove it even if while he's coned. I'm working minimal hours to help take care of my dad and due to some other unfortunate events I'm not able to afford his surgery. The love and support Kaden brings me and now to my dad's recovery process I want to see Kaden back playful and healthy. Thank you all!!!

Jameson

Jameson came into our lives in 2014 as a new puppy. He is just what the boys and I needed as we embarked on our new lives. Jamey instantly became our fierce protector. He has taken on a police officer persona. We are pretty sure if he were a human he would be a cop. Nothing gives him greater joy than to protect and serve. He is a gentle leader for the hothead chiweenie and the goofy doodle. He protects me 24/7. He follows me around the house constantly and when I leave he waits by the door for me to come home. When the boys leave, he sleeps down in the hallway by his room. We are definitely his sheep that the herds and protects. Jamey is the best boy. He loves guarding his domain, also known as our backyard. Squirrels are not welcome here and he makes sure they know it. He loves playing “get off my porch” with his doodle sister. She runs around the porch while he barks at her as he guard the perimeter. She is happy as she can be and he loves it too! Jamey began having a limp in December. He has been on pain meds and anti inflammatory meds for over a month. The vet referred us to an orthopedic surgeon for a TPLO. This is to repair the ligament in his knee. We want Jamey to be pain free. It is heart breaking to watch such an athletic dog strain to get to standing and to limp around. We would love the help as we have had 3 human surgeries to pay for in the last 1-2 years. Mom is in school and we have one kid that will be in college school. Any help would alleviate some of the financial burden.

Holly

Holly is a 8-year-old Chihuahua Mix in Irvine, CA, who needs $2,000 for Intestinal Resection.

Holly was about 6 months old when we got her. She was on her way to the pound with her previous owners, when I saw her and her brother and asked if I can say hi. After a moment the handler asked if I wanted them because she was taking them to the pound and I quickly accepted both. I adopted her brother to my cousin and kept our Holly Holly is the joy of our life. She is adventurous and happy as they come. We got her while living in San Diego, we then moved to Orange County. We moved to Michigan for school and made the long drive. We take weekend trips with her and she goes to work everyday with me. Without her I would be depressed, anxious, and lost. She gave me a sense of responsibility that has changed my life Holly has a personality like no other. She is attentive and pays close attention when I have a conversation with her. She is very emotional and will let you know how she feels and smile when she is happy. She has been through many of my hardships and has given me unconditional love. She is a joy to be around and brings a smile to anyone who has met her. Holly is 8 years old and has been relatively healthy. As of late she began vomiting which led to her not eating. She went to the vet and had blood work and X-rays that showed pancreatitis. After a couple days of feeling better it all went south. She was vomiting more did not eat or drink and was shaking and that’s when we took her to the ER where they later found she needed intestinal resectioning I don’t per-say have a pressing situation but when we took holly to er we were told it was going to cost roughly $3000-$3500, here we are about 3 days of her being inpatient with a bill at $13,500 not including the next 3 days at $3000/ night. This is a lot too fast

Flying Pigs Sanctuary is caring for an incredible pup named Burrito. They refer to him as the paralyzed pup who refuses to let anything slow him down. He now proudly walks (or should we say _wobbles_!) on his own, but he had an unexpected trip to the vet recently. Like many "down dogs," Burrito will likely battle urinary tract infections throughout his life. Because these infections can become serious very quickly, they never take any chances. At the first sign of trouble, he was off to the veterinarian for treatment. Flying Pigs Sanctuary is asking for a little help covering the cost so Flying Pigs Sanctuary can continue saying "yes" whenever Burrito needs care. Reina came into my life unexpectedly, and it truly feels like she was meant to be here. She was accidentally hit with a truck. She was taken to the veterinarian, where X-rays showed no broken bones. Reina's previous owner, who, due to difficult personal circumstances, was unable to take her back. I welcomed her into my home. Although Reina did not suffer any fractures in the accident, she has significant difficulty using one of her back legs. Her previous owner reported that the leg problem existed before the accident, suggesting this may be the result of an older injury rather than the collision itself. Reina has an incredibly gentle spirit. She enjoys lying in the grass, watching the world around her, and spending time with our family. Every day she becomes a little more confident.. Like many families, we weren't expecting to suddenly become responsible for ongoing veterinary expenses. Even though I gladly opened my home to Reina, her medical needs extend beyond what I can afford on my own.

Meet Tigress. She came into the lives of Flying Pigs Sanctuary during a rescue that they say none of them will ever forget. They were originally called to help a pig whose owner had passed away suddenly. The pig had been confined indoors for over seven years and was unable to walk. While they were working to get him to safety, they learned there were other animals still on the property. That’s when they met this sweet girl. What they saw that day was heartbreaking. Tigress was suffering from one of the worst skin conditions they had ever seen. Her back and neck were covered in raw, painful wounds that had clearly been untreated for a very long time. The family loved her but simply didn’t have the resources to get her the veterinary care she desperately needed. She was 12, and had NEVER been to a vet. Although their sanctuary was already at capacity and they could not take Tigress in permanently, they could not walk away from her suffering. They committed to getting her the care she deserved and to helping her find a place where she could live out her remaining time surrounded by love. After veterinary evaluation, they learned the wounds on her back and neck were cancerous tumors. Even though their veterinary team was able to surgically remove them,the cancer came back. Tigress is an old lady and what she needs now is to simply to be loved. Despite everything she has endured, Tigress remains incredibly affectionate with people. She craves human attention and lights up when someone spends time with her. She is potty trained, enjoys going for walks on or off the leash and has been very easy to care for in a home setting. She is a bit stiff these days, so she is currently on joint and pain medication to keep her comfortable but she’s found sanctuary, and we will love her until it’s her time. When he was 3 months old, we rescued him from someone who had been keeping him alone in a locked bedroom after their pitbull attacked him. They were calling him Bo, short for Bocephus, but my kids and I agreed his name should be Buster. Buster was hit by a car and had a broken jaw was he was 3 and he hasn't liked his face being touched ever since. Now that he's a senior dog, he's having dental issues which are causing pain when he eats. New Horizon Animal Hospital has given an estimate that I'm not sure how I could afford at the moment. Buster has been part of the family for as long as my kids can remember. When my teenagers were little, he was just one of the kids. He's always been so good with little ones, he's just so gentle and loving. Now my younger 2 kids are spending the same parts of their childhood with Buster and he still loves sleeping close to the kids like he's watching over them. I wasn't expecting the vets estimate to be so high and I have limited funds to work with. I don't want to delay Buster getting the treatment he needs to feel better soon.
