Henry

Henry is a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees in Placerville , CA, who needs $2,000 for Cytopoint Shot, Apoquel, Science Diet.

Placerville, CA

Henry is the love of my life. Henry means ruler of the house. Perfect name for this humongous handsome boy. Henry had a rough start. Less than 24 hours after bringing Henry home I rushed him to the emergency room where he was diagnosed with Parvo. Henry survived because of his determination to live and my 24/7 care. Henry is a guardian dog and takes his job seriously. Henry makes his rounds after the sun goes down barking at anything he thinks is a threat….a deer or a leaf or a person that does not belong on the property. Henry thinks fetch is a silly game, instead loves to take anything left on the ground or a bandana hanging out of a pocket, so he will be chased. Gosh, he thinks that is so fun. Henry is a magnificent creature! Henry becomes a puppy Rock Star whenever I take him out and about. People are absolutely fascinated with him. Henry loves car rides and enjoys the wind in his face. People always take a double take when they see him hanging his head out the window and smile. Henry has put hundreds of smiles on people’s face. Henry has survived Parvo and now has a skin condition that causes him to itch so bad he chews himself raw. Poor guy has to live with a cone on his head. Henry is a humongous dog and medication given is determined by weight. It is very expensive. It is not yet know what the cause is. The food suggested is crazy expensive! I had to medically retire early, so I am on a fixed income. I’m terrified I won’t be able to financially take care of Henry. He is my world! I love him so much. Henry deserves to live his best life and he is not. Please help Henry to stop itching.

Bear

Bear is a 11-year-old Pt Mix in West Columbia, SC, who needs $2,000 for Maxillectomy.

West Columbia, SC

I was adopted by my parents at the age of 8 weeks old from an animal shelter in Missouri in 2011. I had a rough start to life and was very sick but my mom jumped right in and got me back to health! We lived in Missouri for most of my life (2011-2018) but moved to South Carolina in mid 2018. We have lived here since. Oh yeah, I have a fur sister…she’s pretty cool I guess but I rule the house. Did I mention I rule the house? My parents lives revolve around my sister and I. When I’m not sleeping I absolutely love swimming, barking at the neighbor dogs, and going on walks. I have bad hips so we have to take it easy on walks but my favorite activity is swimming. Oh yeah, I love when my parents cook (snack time) and I know the sound of a whipped cream can even from another room! My other favorite people are my grandpawrents I get really excited when I see them. My favorite toys are my octopus and my really loud squeaking ball that my parents let me squeak as loud as I want. My parents love when I “whisper” at them when I want something and that I sing to “Mr. Sandman” by the Chordettes. We’ve tried other songs but that one is the one that brings out the performer in me. Last year I was diagnosed with a fibromatous Epulis in my mouth. After monitoring my parents decided it needs to be removed because I’m struggling to eat. My DOGtor also doesn’t believe the original diagnosis was correct so my parents had to pay for another histopathology. Either way, the mass has to come out because it is impacting my eating and playing. My parents are in heavy debt… they love me so much that they have done everything to keep me happy & healthy. Did I mention I tend to get into…..predicaments? I know they will do anything for me but they don’t have the funds due to unforeseen emergencies previously.

Buggs

Buggs is a 3-year-old Boxer/Pit Mix in Graham, WA, who needs $1,500 for Abdominal Obstruction.

Graham, WA

My dog Bugs came into my life a few years ago when he was a year old. We rescued him from an abusive environment. He is now a 3 year old pit Bull boxer. When we first got him we had to get his tail amputated due to the neglect he experienced. Over the past two years he has transformed into an amazing loving baby boy. Bugs is such a goofball and loves cuddling with anyone and is really good with kids. Bugs has a sister named omi and they are best friends and play together all the time. Bugs loves to play with his Kong toys and his favorite toy is the long bone. Him and his sister like to chase each other around the house and outside and play tug-of-war. There’s a reason Bugs name is “Bugs” when he is looking at you his eyes go out looking like he is bugging out or bug eyed. Ever since getting his tail amputated bugs will do this thing when he’s excited. He shakes his tail but since there’s a nub there now he shakes his whole back and butt while walking around near you or holding a toy in house mouth. To me I can tell he’s showing how happy he is. Today bugs started vomiting repeatedly and was shaking miserably. Unfortunately bugs likes to chew on things other than his toys. We happened to notice what looks like a piece of a towel in his vomit so we rushed him to the vet. The vet said he need an emergency surgery to get it out or we would need to put him down. He currently right now at Sumner veterinary hospital. We are a one person family income. I had just paid rent and bills and unfortunately didn’t have enough to pay for the whole bill. Bugs is my baby boy and I could not picture my life without him. He knows whenever I’m upset and always comes and tries to cuddle with me.

Nikita

Nikita is a 9-year-old Pitbull in Grain valley , MO, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.

Grain valley, MO

Nikita was a runt of the liter and the breeder said she wasn’t worth anything so she came into my life! She meant to be more than money itself, she was worth millions in my eyes! She has been my best gal friend for 9 years now and is my sons guardian from the day he was born. I unfortunately have lost my job and medical needs have come into play for Nikita. She is the star of the show and is my sons best friend. She guards the house and loves to just lay around now a days. She’s an old gal but has so much life left in her. She loves everyone in the house and she is loved just as much. I always catch my son laying in her bed with her some days and he’s talking away while she listens She is my spirit animal, she could lay on the couch all day and eat if you let her. When she sees a toy she is no longer an old gal but a young pup again. She loves belly rubs always and there isn’t a mean bone in her body. She loves cucumbers of all food. She has the cutest butt wag I’ve ever seen and just the purest soul in her eyes. She has a growth that has formed and grown for some now on her ankle/ leg. This growth now has grown big and it’s not inflamed and infected and almost rotting away. The infection from it is moving to her paw now and she has developed a fever. Surgery now a days isn’t cheap with sedation and medication and the procedure. The infection will kill without treatment. I currently lost my job. It would mean the work to me but more so for my son. She has more years left in her to watch him grow. I can’t lose my girl! She’s my best friend

Jersey

Jersey is a 2-year-old Chihuahua in Rockmart, GA, who needs $400 for Wellness and Vaccination Visit.

Rockmart, GA

I got Jersey as a gift and lost my job right after. We love her so much we can't let her go. I have a child with special needs and they adore each other. We just need her shots and first checkup. She is a miniature Chihuahua she was the runt however she has the biggest personality out of them all. She is full of life Jersey is very energetic and playful. She has the biggest personality to be such a small puppy. She has to constantly be touching you. She sleeps on my chest. She's my whole world. She has made such a difference in our lives in such a short period of time there's no way we could imagine life without her She is amazing she bounces around like a little bunny. She will stare at you untill you make eye contact then charge at you playfully. She tends to play a little rough so we are working on ways to break her from that. She loves being under a blanket. I have rarely left her alone but when I have she runs huds in a pillow case or under blanket Jersey needs to see the vet for her first visit and her shots. We have also worked her at home and it doesn't seem to be working. She seems full of energy however she recently has lost her appetite. She needs to see a vet so she can properly be treated for worms and get all her shots and get her started on her heartworms medication It's just me and my 19 yr old with special needs and I recently lost my job and vehicle. Jersey is our world we just want to make sure she is on the right path to a happy healthy life

Gamora

Gamora is a 5-month-old Rottweiler in Marietta , GA, who needs $2,000 for Parvo Treatment.

Marietta, GA

May 2022 i got out of a toxic relationship so i decided to get myself a forever friend and i purchased her through a breeder than i was recommend by some of my coworkers. She lives with me and my dog and cat who are rescues. Gamora is very stubborn, sassy and goofy! She is the spunk my little family needed. Gamora loves to play with her cat sister named NikNak and loves long walks with her big brother named brody, but most importantly she adores nap time with all of us. She follows me every where through the house just like the rest of the pack. Every time I am in the shower Gamora is always sticking her head in or trying to jump in with me. She is glues to me, which is so adorable. Gamora is only 5 months but i feel like she saved me. I was in a really dark place in the beginning of this year and i feel like she saved me. She gives me a purpose, but not only that she gives me A extra boost in my life. Her high energy makes me get out and enjoy life like going for walks, hikes and so much more. On 9/28/222 Gamora was diagnosed with Parvovirus. She had to be hospitalized for 9 days. There was multiple occasions where i had to have the quality of life conversations with the staff. She was on multiple medications, sampling lines, IV catheters, central lines, feeding tubes and so many different CRI's. She had about three plasma transfusions. I am asking for donations for Gamora's care because this was extremely unexpected and her bills are so much more than what i could even offered but I have to do everything in my power to have my baby back in my life.

Dewey

Dewey is a 4-year-old Black Mouth Cur/Plott Hound Mix in Hernando, FL, who needs $2,000 for Femor Head Ostectomy.

Hernando, FL

We rescued Dewey in March, 2019 when she was approx 12 weeks old as we felt the time was right. We have another rescue, Delilah, who is now 10. They have come to love each other. The rescue had all of Dewey's siblings and they called 3 of them Huey, Dewey, & Louie - my son decided to keep her name. Dewey's favorite past time is to fetch squeaky balls. We have to be careful how long she plays at a time as she has recently started limping. She also loves her baby pool to splash around in & put her balls cause they are better when they are squishy. Dewey also loves to go for car rides & walks. She just seems to love life! My favorite thing she does is when she's sitting and will inch closer & closer to you for attention and if that doesn't work, she will start talking to you.😂 Dewey is a hound mix so she enjoys barking which will startle us at times cause it seems out of nowhere. She will also attack running water or rain runoff but she doesn't like to be out if it's raining too hard🤔 Dewey began to bunny hop while running when she was 2 yrs old. Went to the vet & they said she has hip dysplasia and was born with it. They said that we may be able to manage it with meds & changing her diet. This was the only economical solution as a hip replacement is too expensive. The original meds worked for about 6 months & then we added pain meds. She has started to limp & not want to walk. We are not financially able to afford the FHO procedure which will cost $2,300-$3,000 per hip. Major car/house repairs & employment issues have crushed my efforts. I would love for her to know what it's like to be a normal dog who can jump up on the couch by herself!

Mebrek

Mebrek is a 13-year-old Husky in Sacramento, CA, who needs $1,800 for Surgery.

sacramento, CA

I have had Mebrek for 13 years, since he was a puppy. He currently lives with me, living his best life as an old man. He has traveled with me across the country and my son is his best friend, the two of them have grown up together and share a special bond. Mebrek is always by my side, he is very attached to me and I am too him. Mebrek loves to sit in front of doorways, blocking the way so that people have to walk over him. Even to this day in his old age with his health problems, he lives for escaping from any enclosure and takes off running the moment he is free. He always comes back home though. He is stubborn and incredibly wise. Sensitive and loving. Mebrek has always been such a loving, gentle, and faithful friend and companion. He has brought so much joy to me and my family and friends over the years. Always happy to see familiar faces and make new friends when we are out-and-about for a walk, or having fun at the local dog park. He draws a crowd everywhere we go, and at home he is always by my side. A few months ago he developed visibly, protruding lumps from and around his anal area. The tumors are now larger and causing him great discomfort. They have begun to break open and smell bad. The vet said he needs surgery to remove the tumors. They will then be biopsied. VCA Basin Veterinary Clinic will provide treatment. I am a single dad experiencing partial unemployment due to COVID. When the option was provided to me to euthanize my best friend because I couldn't afford treatment, I was devastated. I believe Mebrek still has a few good years in him and deserves to live in comfort.

CAS

CAS is a 6-year-old German sheppard in Leicester , NC, who needs $1,265 for Teeth Extraction.

Leicester, NC

We found Cas an a pet finder website. He was living with a foster household. He was found wandering the streets and was severely malnourished. We adopted him and he was brought to us here in NC. We have since nourished him back to health and we show him and our other sheppard as much love and attention that we possibly can. He has regulat vet visits and is well taken care of. It has taken a bit for him to not be so timid. His doggy personality is coming thru more each day. He is such a pleasure and loves to be loved on. He is well behaved and a good guard dog. He is scared of fireworks, thunder, etc. Such a loving dog and deserves the best life possible. He does good with our family members and they all love him too. Cas makes us smile and laugh everyday. He has a funny bark that he does as he is calming down from alerting us of a possible threat. He plays alot with jade, our female and it's cute to see them interact. Both want the attention and both want to be dominate. It's a constant battle. He loves salmon and bacon. Cas is seen here in Asheville at Asheville veterinary clinic on Leicester hwy. He has 2 teeth needing to be pulled. One of them has been cracked and nerves are showing and it's very painful for him. It radiates into his jaw and up around his ear. I noticed he was in pain a couple days ago when he would just stop in his tracks and his jaws would quiver and he slobbering alot. Cas has been thru so much that we don't even know about. Both our dogs are well taken care of, up to date on all shots, taking preventative medicines, hip and bone supplements, high quality vet recommended dog food etc. My husband is the only one working at the moment.
