I rescued and adopted Chip when he was just six months old. I don't know much about his life before he came to me, other than the fact that he was abandoned and was the runt of his litter. Despite that rough start, Chip has blossomed into a 72-pound gentle giant. He has a wonderfully sweet temperament and is living a happy, comfortable life with me For the past few months, Chip has been very sluggish and lethargic. I took him to Animal Emergency & Surgical Center and they found he has high blood pressure. They need to run tests to find the underlying cause, but I don't have the funds right now. It breaks my heart seeing my gentle giant so tired. We desperately need help to get him the ongoing care he needs to feel better. Ever since my brother passed away, Chip has been my absolute rock. Whenever I have a bad day, he is always right there to comfort me. I honestly don't know what I would do without him. He is so special because he never seems to have a bad day himself; he always wants to play, run around, and be a little mischievous. He is a good boy and truly deserves a proper vet visit." Puppies has an infected foxtail embedded in his paw and has been seen at the VCA urgent referral Care center in Sacramento animal hospital and the quote for treatment is several hundred dollars This dog has brought lots of joy to my family and I and my grandkids. Puppy loves to play and loves the dog parks and to interact with other dogs and he loves to play ball and he loves to play, keep away he is family and he's such a good boy! he's potty trained and I just love him so much I cannot imagine my life without this dog in my life. He's a blessing I'm currently seeking employment due to my health and recovery from surgery I wasn't able to work and I am on a fixed income and I would feel very well blessed if I were to have any financial help for my dog to get treatment I can't imagine living my life without him

Katana was gift to me. Before katana I had a dog named Lola Grace. She got hit by a car and didn’t make it. She had a best friend in the neighborhood named Midnight. Midnight ended up pregnant and I got one the pups because midnight and Lola were best friends. Katana is currently in the hospital due to parvo and hookworms. I personally called everyday and checked on her. She had me very worried whether she was going to make it. She is one strong dog that is for sure. The vet hospital called said she can go on home 7/29 and told me I need to pay 1879 to bring her home. Town and Country hospital in Jefferson City is where she is at the moment. Katana is my best friend, like another child of mine. She is very playful and loves playing fetch. She knows how to sit and loves riding in the car. Currently I am part time at my job but then my hours got cut even more. Past two weeks I’ve only worked for 2 days due to the boss taking vacation. I’m currently looking for full time and have interviews lined up. Katana is my best friend and I’m lost without her.

In 2016, someone came into my job with a tiny pup and asked if I wanted him. Of course I said yes and I have not looked back. He is the definition of the goodest boy. He has been my apart of my emotional support system for 10 years. Over the pass three months, Kami has had a growth on his paw. It has been progressively growing. He has gone to multiple vets to find a solution to what the growth was. When the testing came back, it was positive for squamous cancer cells. The mass has doubled in size since April when he was originally taken to Erdman Vet and then Warm and Fuzzy in May. Since Kami is a little older, he spends most of his days sunbathing in the backyard with his 2 dog siblings. When in the house, he’s either asking for pets or snuggling in his bed with one of his 4 cat buddies. When the surgery was originally getting scheduled, money was not an issue. I ended up with pneumonia in May and that ended up with bills falling behind. The surgery price was unexpected since the surgery requires a part of his paw amputation.

I got Titus when he was four years old at a doggy daycare I was working at. He had come in from the prison system and was getting rehomed into the shelter, so they found him permanent housing. The first day I laid my eyes on him. I knew he was coming home with me and I made it happen. And we have been bonded ever since. He has had 11 healthy long years with me, but since he's gotten older, his health is really starting to decline. He has developed a corneal lump in his right eye that needs a lumpectomy to improve and continue his quality of life He loves toys, his little brother Snacks, he loves to be potted and sold how much of a good boy he is. He loves kids and people and he's just the sweetest guy ever. I've never met a dog like him. I want to fix it, and this was a very unexpected financial situation. I love my dog so much that I would go homeless before I let him struggle, but I'm hoping that it doesn't come down to that.

Once a stray, she was eventually adopted, but sadly found herself surrendered again and back in need of someone to fight for her. Now, Mariah is facing a serious medical emergency. She has pyometra, a potentially life-threatening infection of the uterus that requires immediate surgery. She is currently taking antibiotics to keep the infection under control while she waits for her surgery on July 29. Even with everything she's going through, Mariah is the sweetest girl. She deserves the chance to heal, find a loving forever home, and finally live the happy, healthy life she should have had all along. Brutally Attacked, Now Fighting to Heal: Help Conejito Recover

At some point before he was rescued, this gentle dog was brutally attacked by other dogs, leaving him with severe bite wounds across his neck, ear, and the back of his head. No one knows how long he suffered before help arrived, but by the time Amici Cannis found him, his injuries were extensive and incredibly painful. The veterinary team immediately began treating his wounds with an emergency cleaning to remove damaged tissue and reduce the risk of infection. Unfortunately, because the injuries are so deep and located around his face and head, one treatment simply isn't enough. Conejito now requires repeated wound cleanings every two to three days to give his body the best chance to heal. These procedures are essential, but they are also extremely painful. Because of the sensitive location of his injuries, Conejito must be sedated for each treatment so the veterinary team can thoroughly clean the wounds without causing him unnecessary fear or suffering. Sedation allows his doctors to carefully remove unhealthy tissue, monitor for infection, and help healthy tissue grow so his wounds can finally begin to close. Without continued treatment, Conejito faces a much greater risk of serious infection, delayed healing, and prolonged pain. Amici Cannis refused to let this sweet dog suffer alone. They stepped in when he needed them most, giving him safety, medical care, and the chance to recover. Now they need your help to continue providing the lifesaving treatment Conejito depends on.
