Help Michelin Get the Amputation That Will End His Pain

Fort Worth, TX • Murdock’s Mission

Michelin should be spending his kittenhood chasing toys, climbing cat trees, and discovering the world. Instead, he's spent most of his young life living with pain. When Michelin was just 6 weeks old, he suffered an injury that led to a severe abscess in his tiny elbow. Despite receiving treatment, the infection destroyed the joint, leaving his leg permanently damaged. There was simply no way to save it. The only option left is amputation. Until now, Michelin has been too small to safely undergo surgery. But at 4 months old, he has finally grown enough to take the next step toward the future he's been waiting for. Although life hasn't been easy, Michelin has never let his injury define him. He remains an incredibly sweet, resilient little kitten who deserves the chance to grow up without constant discomfort. Murdock's Mission is ready to give Michelin that chance. Your donation will help cover the cost of his amputation, surgery, pain management, and post-operative care so Michelin can finally leave his painful past behind and begin living the carefree life every kitten deserves. Every gift, no matter the size, brings Michelin one step closer to healing—and one giant leap closer to running, playing, and simply being a kitten. If you're unable to donate, sharing Michelin's story is another wonderful way to help him find the support he needs. Thank you for helping give this brave little boy the second chance he deserves. 8/13/26 Update: Michelin is Recovering After Surgery Michelin has made it through his amputation and neuter and is now recovering with his rescue team at Murdock's Mission. A video has been added to the campaign photo carousel showing Michelin during his recovery. While he still has healing ahead of him, seeing this sweet boy moving forward after everything he's endured is an encouraging step in his journey. Michelin's surgery and veterinary care gave him the chance to leave his painful past behind and begin healing. Thanks to everyone who has supported Michelin's journey so far! Although his surgery is now behind him, the cost of the veterinary care he needed remains, along with the expenses of his recovery. Continued donations are greatly appreciated and will help Murdock's Mission cover these costs as Michelin recovers. For Michelin, recovery is just the beginning. Continued support will help Murdock's Mission give him the care and comfort he needs as he moves toward a brighter future. Thank you for standing behind Michelin and helping give this sweet boy the chance to keep moving forward. ❤️

Queen Lost His Brother—Now He's Fighting for His Own Life

Fort Worth, TX • Murdock’s Mission

Queen has already endured more heartbreak than any kitten should. Just weeks after losing his brother to the same devastating illness, this tiny 3-month-old is now fighting for his own life. Despite everything, Queen refuses to give up. He still eats. He still drinks. He still greets each day with the determination only a kitten can have. But beneath that fighting spirit, something is terribly wrong. His little body isn't absorbing the nutrients it needs, causing him to slowly waste away despite everyone's best efforts to help him. Murdock's Mission has already invested more than $700 in emergency veterinary visits, diagnostic testing, medications, and supportive care to give Queen every possible chance. Now, his veterinarians need to dig deeper. Additional testing is the next critical step in determining what is causing Queen's illness—not only to help save his life, but also to provide answers after the heartbreaking loss of his brother. The rescue is committed to doing everything they can for Queen, but the costs continue to grow. Your donation will help cover the medical care Queen has already received and the diagnostic testing still needed to uncover the cause of his illness and guide his treatment. Queen has fought so hard to stay here. With your support, he can continue that fight. Every gift, no matter the size, helps give this brave little kitten the chance to recover and enjoy the healthy, happy life every kitten deserves. If you're unable to donate, sharing Queen's story is another meaningful way to help him find the support he needs. Thank you for believing in Queen.

Hit by a Car at Just Five Months Old: Pontoon Boat Needs Your Help to Walk Again

Middle village, NY • PuppyKittyNYCity

At just five months old, Pontoon Boat should be chasing toys and exploring the world—not fighting to recover from devastating injuries. This sweet kitten was found alone in a yard in Queens after being struck by a car. A compassionate Good Samaritan rushed him to Puppy Kitty NYCity, where it quickly became clear that his injuries were far more severe than anyone had hoped. Emergency X-rays revealed heartbreaking trauma. Pontoon Boat suffered a displaced fracture of his left femur, multiple pelvic fractures, and a left sacroiliac luxation that left him unable to properly use his back legs. He was also found to have blood in his urine, significant bruising, and swelling from the impact. Despite everything he has endured, Pontoon Boat has remained incredibly brave throughout his hospitalization. He has already undergone emergency diagnostics, pain management, and around-the-clock supportive care, but his journey is far from over. Veterinary specialists have determined that he urgently needs orthopedic surgery to repair his shattered leg and stabilize his injuries, giving him the best chance at living a normal, pain-free life. PuppyKitty NYC is committed to giving Pontoon Boat every opportunity to heal, but lifesaving orthopedic surgery is costly. As a nonprofit rescue, they rely on the generosity of animal lovers to provide advanced medical care for kittens like him who have nowhere else to turn. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings Pontoon Boat one step closer to recovery. Your kindness will help cover the cost of his surgery, hospitalization, pain management, and the specialized care he needs to walk, run, and enjoy the happy future every kitten deserves. Please consider making a gift today. Together, we can help Pontoon Boat leave this tragic accident behind and begin the healthy, joyful life he's been waiting for. 8/8/26 Update Sweet Pontoon Boat is recovering well after the devastating injuries he suffered when he was hit by a car. This brave little boy has come so far, and now he's ready for the next important step in his recovery. Today, Pontoon Boat is starting his day hoping someone will say, “I’ll foster him.” 🥹 He needs a loving foster home where he can continue healing in a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of care and attention. Even a temporary foster home could make a tremendous difference for this sweet kitten. And there’s more good news—we’re so close to reaching Pontoon Boat’s fundraising goal! Every donation helps us get closer to covering the lifesaving care he has already received and helps PuppyKitty NYCity continue saying yes to the next animal who needs help. 💙 Can you help Pontoon Boat finish his journey to recovery? Please consider donating or sharing his fundraiser—and if you’re able to foster, this brave little boy would love to meet you! 🐾

Solar

This tiny kitten needs your help recovering from eye surgery.

Ellaville, GA • The Outreach Project Co

At just 5 weeks old, Solar was found alone in a Dollar General parking lot. A kind woman who discovered her didn't know where to turn, so she went to the police, who directed her to City Hall. From there, she was connected with The Outreach Project Co through the pet food pantry they host for their community. They've only had Solar for a few days, but they knew immediately that she needed medical attention. They rushed her to the veterinarian where they learned that her eye was severely damaged and could not be saved. Today, this tiny baby underwent surgery to have her injured eye removed. She's now recovering and, for the first time, has a chance to heal without the pain she has been carrying. Solar is just 5 weeks old. She should be learning how to play, explore, and grow—not fighting through surgery. But thanks to the kindness of the person who stopped to help her and everyone who stepped in along the way, she now has a chance at a happy future. They are now asking for your help to cover Solar's surgery, veterinary care, medications, and recovery. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps this rescue continue saying yes to vulnerable animals like Solar who have nowhere else to turn. Please consider donating or sharing her story. Together, we can help this tiny girl leave her painful past behind and start the bright future she deserves.

Every Minute Matters For Frankenstein

Metairie, LA • A Tail in Need Animal Rescue

Frankenstein is just a kitten, but in a matter of hours his playful energy turned into a fight for survival. It started with diarrhea. Then he began losing weight. Soon after that, he stopped eating. Earlier that afternoon, he had been running around and playing like any happy kitten. By that evening, he was too weak to do anything but cry out. His foster family knew something was terribly wrong, luckily A Tail in Need Animal Rescue rushed him to an urgent care clinic. After an evaluation, the veterinarians knew he needed more intensive treatment than they could provide. Frankenstein was immediately transferred to MetVet, where the emergency team worked quickly to save his life. When he arrived, his blood sugar and blood pressure were dangerously low, and his tiny body had become cold. Every minute mattered. The veterinary team provided emergency care, stabilized him, and gave this little fighter the chance he desperately needed. Thanks to their quick action, Frankenstein survived. But emergency care comes at a significant cost, and his journey isn’t quite over yet. Your donation today can help cover the lifesaving treatment that gave Frankenstein a second chance and ensure A Tail in Need Animal Rescue can continue saying “yes” when the next animal faces a medical emergency. Please help us turn this frightening chapter into the beginning of a long, healthy life for Frankenstein.

Joey

Joey needs your help recovering from amputation surgery.

Burns, TN • Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue

Joey's future is brighter today because compassionate people chose to give him a chance. This tiny kitten—originally thought to be a little girl named Josie but now known as Joey—was found with part of his leg cut off. He already came through his amputation surgery with flying colors. At just 10 weeks old and weighing only 2 pounds, he's already overcome more than most animals ever should. He's still hospitalized, but if everything continues to go well, he'll be heading to his foster home tomorrow. His injured leg has been removed, and thanks to IV antibiotics, pain medication, and exceptional veterinary care, Joey is already feeling better. While some questioned whether such a small kitten should undergo a major surgery, our answer was simple: if there was a chance for him to live a happy, pain-free life, then he deserved that chance. Joey won't remember the pain that brought him here. What he'll remember is a future filled with love, safety, and the freedom to run and play on three legs. His life matters, and because of caring supporters like you, he now has the opportunity to live the long, wonderful life he deserves. We're asking for your help to cover Joey's surgery, hospitalization, medications, and continued recovery. Every donation helps us keep fighting for animals who have no voice and no one else to stand up for them. Thank you for believing, as we do, that every life is worth saving.

Trapped, Injured, and Crying for Help—Let's Give Nubby the Life He Deserves

Douglasville, GA • Purrfect Peaches Cat Rescue

The cries coming from an old truck at a local junkyard led to a heartbreaking discovery. A tiny two-month-old kitten had become trapped inside a truck spring, desperately crying for help. He was completely alone. There was no mother in sight, no siblings to comfort him—just a frightened baby suffering from devastating injuries. We named him Nubby Jones. By the time Nubby was rescued and brought to Purrfect Peaches Cat Rescue, it was clear he had endured unimaginable trauma. His left front leg was fractured, and his tiny paw had been so severely crushed that it could not be saved. Despite everything he had been through, Nubby greeted everyone with gentle purrs, curious eyes, and a playful spirit that refused to give up. His resilience reminds us that even the smallest hearts can carry incredible strength. After a thorough examination, our veterinary team determined that the kindest and only path to a pain-free future is to amputate Nubby's injured front leg. While that sounds heartbreaking, kittens are amazingly adaptable. They quickly learn to balance on three legs, running, climbing, playing, and living full, joyful lives without chronic pain. Now Nubby needs one more miracle. Your donation will help cover the cost of his lifesaving surgery, pain medication, veterinary care, and recovery so he can finally leave behind the fear and suffering he experienced in that junkyard. Purrfect Peaches Cat Rescue is committed to giving Nubby every opportunity to heal, but we can't do it without your support. Together, we can replace pain with comfort, fear with safety, and loneliness with love. Please help give Nubby the second chance he so desperately deserves. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings this brave little survivor one step closer to a future filled with warm beds, playful adventures, and the loving family he's been waiting for. 8/7/26 Update Little Nubby Jones has already survived more than any kitten should. Rescued after becoming trapped inside a truck spring, this tiny two-month-old suffered a fractured front leg and a paw so severely crushed that it could not be saved. Despite everything, Nubby continues to be a sweet, playful little fighter. He has already needed surgery for his injured paw, and those veterinary bills are adding up. His veterinary team is also still determining when he will need an amputation of his injured limb. While Nubby waits, he needs continued veterinary care, pain management, and plenty of love as he recovers. 💜 Please donate today to help Purrfect Peaches Cat Rescue cover Nubby’s medical expenses. Every donation helps give this brave little survivor the chance to heal and look forward to a future filled with play, comfort, and love. If you can't donate, sharing Nubby's fundraiser can help his story reach someone who can. 🐾
