We came about Azaria from our oldest dogs owner. She was the sister to the second litter. We’ve had her now for total of eight weeks. She is four months old. She’s very spunky and we love her so much. She’s part of our family. we also have her sister. Our sweet Azaria was stung by a yellow jacket last Thursday. It sent her into anaphylactic shock which Banfield hospital overlooked. We rushed her CVETS Saturday because she wasn’t eating or getting any better with the medications they sent home. It’s now an emergency situation where she has to be hospitalized to get a feeding tube IV treatments to make it. Are sweet Azaria has her sister and brother here. What’s her sister is miserable because she can’t play with her. I miss her waking me up in the morning with her licks. She’s loved both of my grandkids. This is something that’s from on us unexpectedly. In the last three days, we’ve exhausted all of our funds that we had saved, which was $1500. It would mean the world to us to have our baby back. She’s a big part of our family and my grandkids life.

Petey

Five-year-old Petey should be enjoying life, but instead, he has been living with chronic pain from untreated infection. When Petey arrived at the hospital, his face was so swollen that he had stopped eating. Both of his ears are severely infected, and doctors believe the inflammation is causing nerve damage. They are also concerned about the possibility of a deeper infection or abscess. Imagine living with a constant, throbbing earache for days, months, or even years. Every movement hurts. Every sound hurts. Even eating becomes impossible due to pain. Despite everything he has endured, Petey remains incredibly sweet and trusting. Our hope is that aggressive treatment will reduce the swelling and inflammation, but Petey's ears have suffered years of damage. Depending on how he responds, he may eventually require TECA (Total Ear Canal Ablation) surgery - an extensive procedure costing thousands of dollars, which may be the only way to finally give Petey relief from a lifetime of pain. Petey didn't deserve to suffer this long. Thank you for helping us give this sweet boy the comfort, treatment, and future he deserves.

Siege Is Fighting to Stand — Help Save This Critically Ill Dog

Meet Siege, a dog whose condition tells a heartbreaking story of prolonged neglect and suffering. When Siege was brought to the veterinarian, she was in extremely poor condition. She was severely dehydrated, weak, and debilitated. She also showed signs of a serious neurological disorder, including a pronounced head tilt to the right side, raising concerns about what may be happening beneath the surface. As veterinarians examined her, they discovered that Siege was also battling a massive infestation of ticks and fleas. Her skin was inflamed and painful, with widespread hair loss, severe itching, redness, scaling, and open wounds. Her condition is so extensive that veterinarians suspect she is suffering from multiple overlapping issues, including bacterial and fungal skin infections, flea allergy dermatitis, and a painful ear infection known as otitis externa. Despite everything her body is enduring, Siege is receiving the medical care she desperately needs. Her veterinary team has already begun emergency treatment with fluid therapy to address her dehydration and medications to eliminate the ticks and fleas covering her body. She is also receiving ear cleanings and antibacterial and antifungal medications to begin treating her painful ear disease. In addition, bloodwork, including a complete blood count and kidney function testing, has been ordered to help determine the next steps in her treatment plan. At this point, there are still many unanswered questions. The results of her bloodwork will help guide additional therapies, which may include intravenous medications, injections, oral treatments, and further diagnostics to better understand her neurological symptoms and overall condition. What we do know is that Siege needs immediate and ongoing medical care if she is going to have a chance at recovery. We are raising funds to help cover her emergency veterinary treatment, diagnostics, medications, laboratory testing, and continued care as her medical team works to stabilize her and uncover the cause of her condition. Our hearts are breaking. Even though we are already stretched beyond capacity, we simply couldn't say no to five abandoned puppies fighting for their lives. These babies were found dumped in the woods, sick with Parvo, alongside the bodies of three deceased siblings. If not for a persistent dog who kept barking and leading their owner back into the woods, these puppies may never have been found in time. The rescue that discovered them desperately wanted to help but could not afford the extensive veterinary care they need. While we are also struggling financially, we knew we had to step in and give these puppies a chance. Right now, they are on their way to our veterinarian for emergency Parvo treatment, including monoclonal antibody therapy—a lifesaving treatment that comes with a significant cost. Their medical bills will add up quickly, but we refuse to let money be the reason they don't get the care they deserve. These puppies have already lost so much. Ogden joined my family of two in spring 2024 as a 10-week-old puppy from a family struggling to care for the litter. Though not planned, his sweet demeanor stole my heart. I named him after poet Ogden Nash. We recently moved from a granny flat to our own place, doubling my living expenses and changing my commute to a 24-minute freeway drive. He is my solo companion and absolute joy. Ogden is fighting a 1.25 cm Mast Cell Tumor on his leg that requires urgent treatment at VCA Animal Specialty Group under Dr. Jackson. While not a sudden trauma, the threat is an emergency to my heart; doing nothing risks it spreading to his internal organs. He needs a $6,270 surgery and $3,010 in staging scans paid upfront. I desperately want to save his young life. Ogden is a total clown who loves everyone! He sits, barks, and gives high-fives on command. He like holding a stuffy in his mouth while batting a tennis ball with his paws. He loves a good sprint through the grass, playing with any dog or cat, and demanding ice cubes from the fridge after warm walks. His goofy antics, squeaky toys, and endless affection have cemented our unbreakable bond. I have a pressing financial need after exhausting my emergency fund on vital car repairs, the recent move and doubling my living costs. This $9,280 upfront vet expense is impossible alone. Denny was rescued from a puppy mill in Denver, Co, and has been part of our family since he was a puppy. For the past 3 years, he’s been our adventure buddy, always by our side whether we’re exploring or swimming. He’s incredibly smart, gentle, and well-trained. As foster parents, we’ve watched Denny help countless animals feel safe, loved, and confident in their new surroundings. ❤️ Denny was spending the day doing what he loves most, watching his kids swim from a friend’s deck. When he jumped down, he landed wrong on his front left leg and immediately began limping. We believe he may have a fracture in his paw and will be seen at Artesia Animal Clinic tomorrow. The exam and X-rays alone are expected to cost at least $200, with additional treatment costs still unknown. ❤️🐾 Denny was rescued from a bug-infested puppy mill as a puppy and grew into the most incredible dog. He’s gentle, highly trained, loves kids, adventures, swimming, and car rides with his head out the sunroof. As a foster brother, he’s helped countless scared animals learn to trust again and become adoptable. He’s spent his life helping others. Now, he’s the one who needs help. As someone who is always helping animals, it’s hard to be the one asking for help. A series of unexpected expenses left our savings depleted, and now our sweet Denny needs us. Kaiya came into my life at the tender age of 6 months old. I adopted the puppy at nine years old, and we have been best friends ever since. Growing up with her has been an immense blessing; her playful spirit and down-right funny personality have powered me through plenty of hard times. She's been at my side thick-and-through. With your support our friendship will last many more happy years. Kaiya has recently developed a firm, fixed tumor on her inner thigh, which has steadily grown drastically in size over the last few months. Her surgical specialist says that the mass risks impeding her mobility, and we have already seen concerning changes in her walking and sleeping positions. A complex operation and medical imaging is suggested to remove it, but the cost is hard for meet alone. Kaiya loves to run. She can play for hours. She also likes the most comfy spots to lie down in. She doesn't like loud noises, but she's a talker for sure. She loves to interact with others, and everyone who has ever met her can tell you how sweet she is. The estimate for Kaiya's operation and radiograph reach a staggering 12,000, which is extremely difficult to meet on my own. I am a college student working a low income position at a grocery store part-time. A family member offered to chime in for part of the expenses.

I got Tiofilo 2 years ago he was a stray that i adopted he has been with me through very hard times last year my apartment caught on fire causing my family and i to be homeless going from motel to motel until we found an apartment. I am a full time college student and a full time worker i help my parents with half of the rent this is unexpected we are rushing to find answers to help him Tiofilo has been pretty healthy ever since we got him about a month ago he started limping and we have been taking him to his vet but recently we were able to get him an xray where they discovered that he has a leison on his shoulder which could be cancer we took him to VCA west coast and they looked at him and told us the same thing that there is a high probability that it is cancer Tiofilo is a super friendly dog he gets super excited to meet new people he has this super long green monkey toy that i got randomly one day and its his favorite he is a good boy and never barks unless you take his toy away he loves playing with me and my grandma as well as going on walks with my dad This is something unexpected we dont have an emergency fund because youd never think this would happen and i am worried that time is not on our side because if he does have cancer bone cancer can be agressive and i want to get him the help as soon as possible

CAMO welcomed these six adorable senior Shih Tzus to their rescue. Their story is a heartbreaking one. Their owner had reached a point where she could no longer care for them—or even for herself. As a result, these sweet seniors have been living in deplorable conditions. They are painfully itchy, suffering from skin infections, and battling severe dental disease that has likely caused discomfort for a very long time. Sadly, because the shelter is full and has no space for owner surrenders, these dogs were facing euthanasia. Many people don't realize that owner-surrendered pets can be euthanized immediately, as they are not protected by the same stray hold period required for lost animals. Thankfully, the shelter reached out, and CAMO Rescue was able to step in before it was too late. Now safe in their care, these six precious dogs have a chance at the life they deserve. But they all need extensive veterinary care, including dental procedures, heartworm testing, bloodwork, spay/neuter surgeries, medications, and treatment for their skin conditions. The cost of caring for six senior dogs is significant, and they cannot do it alone. They are asking for donations to help provide the medical care these cuties desperately need and deserve.
