I adopted Leela 10 years ago, she has been thru my cancer journey and life’s trials. She had a ruptured tumor 4 weeks ago requiring emergency splenectomy, she almost bled to death. She is precious and has wagged her tail the entire time. She is now back at the vet with pancreatitis. I have spent every penny I have on her and will continue. She is a fighter. Leela has loved me when I was abandoned. 4 weeks ago she under went a ruptured tumor on the spleen, had emergency surgery costing over $3200, she has been bsck and forth to vet costing another $900 and now has pancreatitis requiring hospital care, the vet says she is alert, has a sparkle in her eye still and wagging her tail. I am at a loss the continued care will be around another $1000 Leela Snugglelots is the love of my life, a girls true best friend who has been by my side thru cancer, divorce, my close walk to death, kids growing up and leaving, always giving kisses and never complaining I recently had to retire after being a RN for 35 years secondary to health reasons. About five years ago, I found a little dog wandering alone in the rain. He was scared, soaking wet, and clearly lost. I took him in to foster him, thinking someone would come looking. No one ever did. Within a week, he had stolen my heart and I officially adopted him. He’s been by my side ever since. He’s so full of love. I named him Dobby because he was abandoned him and now he’s free and loved A month ago, he needed an unexpected dental procedure and a lot of blood work with still no answers. He’s on daily pain medication to help him throughout the day. After the surgery, my primary vet referred us to MedVet because they couldn’t find out what was going on with him. We’ve since been referred to MedVet Cincinnati, where he’s now schedule a CT scan and another surgery. They suspect cancer Dobby is not a regular chihuahua. He’s super outgoing and friendly and just wants love from everyone. A week after adopting him he found a small puppy dying next to my recycling bin. They have been attached ever since. He is so behaved and just wants love,belly rubs and a lot of treats. I am on a low income. My dogs are my emotional support animals and I can’t be without them. I recently signed a new lease on a small apartment for us. So it’s been extra hard to pay for any unexpected vet bills. I just need my dog to get the treatment he needs

I purchased Rocky in 2013 at 8 weeks old. Rocky is a Lab/Pit mix and the sweetest dog. Rocky has always been a very energetic dog until recently. He's very loyal. He's a protector. And a really great cuddle buddy. Rocky has always been a large dog. At his peek, he was 92lbs; however, over the past 1-2 years, he has began losing a lot of weight. He is now 66lbs. He also has a 4/6 heart murmur and require a Full Cardiology Work Up; which included bloodwork, EKG, and/or Ultrasound. Rocky also suffers from hip dysplasia. He struggles to walk and rise from a sitting/laying position Rocky is my and my son's first long time pet. He has been with us all of his life and we LOVE him dearly. Losing Rocky will crush us. He is an important part of our family. I am a child-welfare social worker. After paying my regular bills, buying groceries, for the house, and maintaining my vehicle, there isn't any money left over. I have to struggle to make sure my dogs get their yearly vaccines. I also help take care of my elderly mother.

Duncan was rescued from a breeding situation where he suffered extreme lack of care and proper nutrition. He has nerve damage on his spine that must be fixed to help him achieve true health. You see he cant feel himself poo or pee. He doesn't know it happened and he cannot go home until we fix this as he will never be successful when he has no control on when and where he goes potty. Our vet believes he suffered a traumatic injury at some point due to his previous living situation. He may have been hit by a car, or attacked by another dog, we simply do not know. Heartland Veterinary Hospital is the vet who diagnosed him and he needs to see a specialist in St Louis for the next step. We were given an estimated cost of over five thousand dollars just to start. Duncan is a happy boy who while his life was less than loving before he came into our rescue, he is friendly, playful and wants to please. Until his medical needs have been met he has a huge obstacle in front of him that will prevent him from finding a loving home. As a rescue whose very existence depends on the kindness of others we simply do not have in our budget the funds needed to give him the life he deserves, which is one of health and happiness in a loving home.

Tilly is 11 years old I've had her since she was born. Recently I noticed a mamory tumor that is now making it hard for her to walk. I hope to be able to afford surgery for her soon. The tumor is growing and spreading. The vet recommends removal surgery and pain management. EL DORADO vet clinic Tilly is our family, she is very special to us and it's very hard to see her in pain. She is intuitive and always cuddles up to people when they are sad or having a hard day. She is our baby. Random belongs to 16 year old boy named Garrett. Garrett wanted a kitten for a very VERY long time. Just before his 10 the birthday, Garrett’s parents rescued her from a home overrun with cats that was rehoming kittens. Garrett was ECSTATIC and she has been his best friend (he calls her his child) ever since! On Sunday, June 15th 2025, Random wasn’t acting like her usual self. She wasn’t very hungry and sleeping more than normal. On Monday, she began vomiting in the morning, but it had subsided by the evening. She threw up one more time Tuesday morning and had not vomited again until late Tuesday night early Wednesday morning. She is now lethargic and not eating or drinking. We recently was forced to move from our family home due to mold issues. My son Garrett is on the autism spectrum and does not do well with change. This move has been very difficult on him. Now that we are settled into our new house with his cat falling ill it’s a scary time for him. The thought of losing his cat absolutely shatters his world. We were just recently forced to move due to mold issues and as you know, moving is not a cheap task. We are just a few days short until payday and I cannot let my son’s beloved cat go without proper medical treatment. I’m normally prepared for situations

Tinky chose us and came into our lives as a result of being a kitten born to a stray. The former caretaker was planning on having them all taken to the shelter to be put down. We fell in love with her at first sight, her little attitude mixed with playfulness. There are 2 disabled individuals in the household, she has 5 human siblings and 2 cat sisters, and 1 dog she tolerates in her life. Two days ago Tinky started showing signs of being ill, the nurse at the Vet said it sounded like allergies. Now we have a kitty that has goop coming from her left eye and a brownish discharge on the right side of her mouth. She is drinking water but not eating, her attitude seems sad and she just looks thin. Vally Animal Hospital will see her but the amount is beyond my means. My cat has helped my 15 year old with her depression, she is a constant companion who knows when someone just needs a purr and cuddle. She has 2 cat sisters and she has nurtured and been there for them. She is not just a cat to us she is a friend, family member and even medical device. She cant turn the worst day into sunshine and make you laugh and smile with her antics. I am disabled so is my son, My daughter has insulin resistant diabetes. We live month to month and even though I do have some money in savings but its not enough for even a visit. This cat is our world. our family. I would trade my own for hers if I could.

He was on a special diet. Due to me being in the 🏥. He ran out of food, I got food for just for one week that he’s not supposed to eat. But after eating that food for five days, now he’s blocked again. I know now that no matter what I have to stock up on his food in case of an 🚑 again. I don’t want him to have to go through this again at all. Koba is very close to his brother Kylo and his sisters Sakura and Daisy.They haven’t been eating much since he has been sick and was laying beside him as well. Now they pick at their food because he isn’t here right now.Koba loves catnip and toys that rattle.He don’t let you use the bathroom in peace.He will pull the door open with his paws.He will talk to you like why did you shut the door on me. I’m disabled & this help would mean to us. It would mean relief & less stress. BC I suffer from depression & PTSD. Stress is not good for me. It makes me immobile. with struggling to make ends meet. Osiris was gifted to my daughter to be her emotional support companion. And the 3 years that she has had him they have become inseparable depending on each other. I honestly don't know what they'll do without each other. Osiris was in the yard playing when The neighbor dogs came and and teamed up on him and viciously attacked him he's got wounds around his neck his back leg his rear end. I'm very thankful for the emergency veterinarian service by us named JAM. They were so patient and caring with him and us. Osiris is very special to our family if you're feeling down he will come sit on you like a weighted blanket and give you lots of love and attention. He lives with myself his gammy, his mommy and his fur Mommy. He loves to run and play he has a toy called his fly toy which is a frisbee he never gets tired of chasing that. I have had to lessen my hours at work due to a disability. Which has had a hardship on the household then putting this emergency vet bill on top of everything.
