Peter joined my family in June of 2020. I adopted him and his bonded partner Piper. I found them on a local rescue. They came from a kill shelter in Texas. They now live with me in Western New York. When Peter first came to me he had to battle heart worm. He is clear from it now, but has a heart murmur from it. Now six years later we have another battle. He needs to have all of his teeth removed. With his heart murmur he needs extra care. He is a patient at Transit Animal Hospital. Peter is a very silly boy. He loves to play and do zoomies with Piper. He is an old soul. Very timid and shy. Full of love and kisses. He absolutely loves belly rubs. I have been on and off disability for two years. I have another coming surgery. Went through savings to stay afloat. I’m hoping to return to work within the year. Every donation toward Peter's medical care is extremely appreciated.

I have had Amor since he was 8 weeks old! Born on 7/15/2020, he’s been a part of our family since. He has grown up with my oldest daughter and truly is my son with 4 legs. I don’t know what life would be like if I didn’t have my boy Amor had gotten into the trash with my Frenchie, and they both consumed moldy bread. I had to rush them to the ER at two different times on August 3rd. Amor is the BEST family dog. He greets and treats all children like fragile eggs. He loves to play fight with my other dog. He is truthfully the best boy ever. No bias We are a new military family being stationed 3200 miles away in just 2.5 weeks. We had saved a PCS fund that we had to urgently use for our dogs. No questions asked we got them there and helped promptly. But we are now super stressed and down $2500.

Lotus's Story “Lotus, our sweet floofy floof needs a little help to get through an upcoming surgery. Anything would help to make sure she receives the care needed. Lotus (a taurus of course) just turned 5 years old. She is our beloved Pomsky and has brought so much love to our lives. She keeps us busy and is a joy to all she meets. In June of this year, I took her into our local vet because I noticed she had an inflammation near one of her back teeth. Lotus is always smiling and she didn’t seem bothered when I got near it. I can tell it must be uncomfortable for her though. When our vet quoted a large amount, I knew I needed to be proactive for her. She is my best friend, and I will do anything to help her. I got a second opinion and was able to get Lotus scheduled for surgery. I am worried that she may need the higher amount quoted which is a financial hardship for me at this time. We got Lotus in 2021, and in 2022 I got into a car accident that caused a concussion and chronic pain which caused me to lose my job. I have been able to get back to work but only part time. Lotus is my EMS animal, and she has been so helpful to me and my daughter. We are beyond grateful for her. Lotus brings a smile to anyone she meets. Peddi Has Never Known Life Without Pain.

Little Peddi was living on the streets when a Good Samaritan noticed his severely mutilated leg. It appeared that he had been run over by a vehicle, leaving this tiny puppy injured and in unimaginable pain. But Peddi didn’t give up hope. He kept going, waiting for someone to finally help him. He stayed close to his family, doing his best to survive. Even his siblings seemed to understand that he was hurting, staying by his side and supporting him as he struggled to move. When the Good Samaritan reached out to the Stray Animal Foundation of India, Peddi was finally rescued and brought to safety. His wounds were dressed, and he is receiving care. Finally, a sign that things a going to get better. Peddi’s diagnostics are still pending, and the veterinary team needs to determine the full extent of his injuries and what treatment will give him the best chance at recovery. For a puppy who has spent his short life simply trying to survive, Peddi deserves the chance to finally heal. Please help us cover his diagnostics, treatment, and ongoing care. Cinco is a 1 year old French Bulldog in New Haven, CT, who needs $12,000 for Surgery.

"Cinco" was the name chosen by my daughter; he has been with us since he was two months old. He has three other "sisters" (friends) at home: the oldest is nine, and the others are five and one-and-a-half. Each one of them is special to us. He has always been a happy dog; we never imagined something so serious was going on. He didn't show signs of pain, and check-ups indicated he was fine. But then the time came when they discovered a hernia, an issue with one of his testicles, and a liver problem. We were assured that the surgery would resolve everything otherwise I would let him rest. He is being treated at CENTRAL HOSPITAL NORTH HAVEN CT. He brought joy into our lives; he is playful and affectionate. Every day when we leave, he comes to the door to see us off with a little kiss, and while my wife cooks, he stays right by her feet—he is her shadow. He is obsessed with balls of all sizes, and we love him dearly. We are reaching out for help because I am disabled, my wife only works part-time, and we are facing a difficult health crisis. Our other dogs have emergency insurance, but the two little ones only have basic coverage; we never imagined something like this would happen to us.

A Fractured Leg Won’t Stop Harry From Finding His Future

Harry was just a street puppy, living alongside his littermates and trying to navigate life on the streets. Then a Good Samaritan noticed something was wrong. Harry was limping badly and struggling to keep up. The Stray Animal Foundation of India stepped in to help. Veterinary examination, diagnostics, and X-rays revealed a fracture, likely caused by a dog bite. But Harry’s injuries weren’t his only battle. He was also found to be anemic and suffering from an upper respiratory infection. Thankfully, Harry is now receiving the treatment he desperately needs. He’s being cared for while his fracture heals and his body works to recover from the infection and anemia. But getting Harry through this recovery will take continued veterinary care, medication, and monitoring. All of those costs add up quickly for a rescue already caring for so many animals in need. Harry has already made it off the streets and into safety. Now, he needs us to help him make it all the way back to health. Please donate toward Harry’s medical care today. When Vida was found, she was barely hanging on. She was severely emaciated, covered in ticks, dangerously anemic, and suffering from unimaginable injuries. Half of her ear and part of her neck were missing, and maggots have infested multiple wounds throughout her body. No animal should ever have to endure this kind of pain and neglect. Thanks to Compassion Kind, Vida is receiving emergency veterinary care, where doctors are working to treat her wounds, stabilize her condition, and give her the chance to heal. The road ahead will be long, and her medical care will be extensive, but this rescue refuses to give up on her. Vida deserves to know what it feels like to be safe, loved, and free from pain. 10 years ago, Emmy was rehomed and became part of my family. From the moment her cage door opened & she ran up to me, we formed an unbreakable bond. She has been by my side through my hardest moments, offering unconditional love, comfort, and companionship. Emmy isn't only my dog- she is family, my best friend, and almost my entire heart. She has never given up on me or herself. Emmy is a fighter. She was seen at VCA Animal Hospital for a limp and leg pain but referred to MedVet for a Cardiology evaluation after a heart murmur was detected before proceeding with X-rays. There's a chance it's a CCL tear and arthritis. She cannot walk properly. Emmy was only seen before for having enlarged lymph nodes, once under her neck, and they resolved completely 2 years ago. She's otherwise been healthy For over a decade, Emmy has been the heart of my family. She adores our children, loves making friends, and greets us like we've been gone for years, even after 10 minutes. She's gentle, affectionate, endlessly loving, and fiercely protective of her family--even getting upset when she thinks we're hurting. From cuddling under blankets to making us laugh every day, Emmy is far more than a pet to me Financial help would mean giving Emmy more time to live the happy life she loves, and I want to be there for her now too. While I recover in a wheelchair from my own leg injury, I dream of the day we will watch each other heal and can walk and run side by side again.

Finny has been a part of our Family since she was 9 weeks old. She is a great big sister to our human children and two other pups. She loves long walks and spending time in the backyard. In April 2024 Finny has experienced her 1st seisure...the episodes have been rare at first, but unfortunately progressed to be more consistent and regular. Since January 2026, after a very scary cluster episode she has been administered Phenobarbital. Unfortunately the seisures continued, and it was necessary to add Keppra in July 2026. We have been under the care of NSALA pet health center. Finny is like an old soul, she understands emotions of humans better than any dog I have encountered. She will follow you everywhere and wants to be near everyone all the time. We are a family of 5 humans and 3 dogs. With pressing testing, medication fees and constant monitoring of Finnys conditions its been very challenging to be able to pay for her medical expenses...Every little bit helps us help her...
