Hobbes is a rescue we adopted after moving into a new home when my son was six months old and Hobbes was about nine months. He’s incredibly gentle with kids and has grown up alongside my son. He’s known as our “blanket thief,” always stealing blankets during naps, and he helped raise his younger dog sister, looking after her like a big brother. Hobbes, a Bull Terrier, has had benign lipomas in the past that resolved on their own. However, a recent mass on his neck continued to grow instead of shrinking. At Affordable Pet Clinic in Katy, he was diagnosed with a tumor requiring surgical removal. The recommended treatment includes surgery and pre-operative bloodwork, and with timely care, Hobbes is expected to recover well. Hobbes is gentle, patient, and has grown up side by side with my son, forming a deep bond with our family. He loves being close and is our “blanket thief,” always stealing blankets during naps. He enjoys tug-of-war, squeaky toys, and rawhide bones, and loves snacks like cheese and bacon. He’s not a fan of fireworks and always comes to us for comfort. I was injured at work and my finances are tight. I don’t have the savings or credit to cover Hobbes’s surgery and care. This was unexpected, and despite my efforts, there’s still a gap I can’t meet. 10 years ago I rescued my darling Lucy at Oregon Humane Society, Lucy is my Cary first dog and I instantly fell in love. I got her when I was young and first decided to move out on my own, she was my first adult decision and we have been best friends now for a whole decade. We currently live in Vancouver Washington and Lucy enjoys going on walks, riding in our kayak and a good cuddle with mom. About 4 days ago Lucy took a turn for the worse and stopped eating, we went to our vet to get her checked out but they misdiagnosed her and sold us medication we did not need. When she started vomiting we were turned away from 3 ERs but finally the next day an urgent care took her. She is now currently at Dove Lewis unable to eat, and unable to enjoy life. Lucy had a particular set of her favorite people to see, in the last two days she fluttered her tail to the sound of seeing grandma again. My brother and my best friend Elle also has Lucy’s heart, when they visit it is like I do not exist…. Lucy is a huge fan of playing with my hand under a blanket and tug of war with any small toy or with her sister Charlie (a black lab) I don’t usually ask for help, especially from strangers, but our finances have been tight. My boyfriend is awaiting a wilderness firefighting contract, and I live paycheck to paycheck. Lucy needs more days in the hospital and we know she has many years left to live.

Boo Boo is no stranger fighting tough battles. At only 6 months old, a passerby noticed a truck that struck a dog, so she quickly pulled over to help the poor pup. The woman spent the next week making flyers to try and reunite the dog with its owner. After not having any luck she decided to keep her and name her Boo Boo At about two years old, Boo Boo was getting too rowdy for the woman to continue to keep her. The woman was my coworker and one day at work I saw the dogs photo on her phone and I instantly fell in love. Her big radar ears and hazel brown eyes captured my attention and I had to meet her. That evening when I got to her house, she called Boo Boo out from the back room and Boo Boo ran out, jumped on Me and kissed me. And we have been inseparable since. Boo boo is not suffering from a complicated UTI. She has blood in her urine and needs antibiotics asap. She will respond to treatment but without treatment the situation could become life threatening. There is no doubt in my mind that she will live to be in her 20's. We are going to break records! Unfortunately because of the severity of the UTI, I have exhausted my funds on previous vet visits. And medications. She has had all the testing she needs done, she just needs the proper medication.

So we was at the flea market one day and people had these dogs for sale and the people could not afford to have all of them and we was able to help them out and get our forever friend Louie into his forever home So I was at work today and my 11-year-old son called me screaming and crying because our Louie was having a seizure we took him to the vet and he was so upset He stayed in the car because he was crying and scared something was going to happen to our dog and now they are wanting $1,500 deposit and could be up to 3,500 to give the Louie the treatment that he needs I was able to give $800 Louie and my son has really bonded and are very attached to each other they play outside every day they sleep with each other wherever one is the other one is and we desperately need to save Louie if anyway possible I paid $800 they said they would call me when the money ran out but it would definitely not help him all the way it was going to be somewhere between $1,500 and 3,000 that I dont have It's just my bills are so expensive but I cannot afford that much extra I gave everything that I had which was $800 toward the bill but they have my dog and said that that's definitely not going to be enough to help him and get him back healthy we went to care of Charlotte N

Recently, she ingested chocolate, which caused serious health concerns due to her small size. She became weak, lethargic, and required close monitoring and care. While she has shown some improvement, she is still not fully herself and needs veterinary attention to ensure there are no lasting complications. She is incredibly loyal and emotionally intuitive, always staying close and responding to my voice. Despite her size, she has a big presence and brings comfort every day. She loves being near me and is gentle and affectionate, making her an irreplaceable part of my life and home. Wally is my everything. He is almost 10. He is my companion. I’m a senior citizen and he truly looks after me.,When I moan, he is right by my side. He frequently gives me hugs around my neck throughout he day.,i constantly tell him that I love him more than life and it’s true. I am a breast cancer survivor who has been dx with prepancreatic cancer. So funds have been used to for that. Wally has a large mass in his badder and both vets say it’s highly suspicious of being cancer. But regardless it must come out. I have been taking him frequently for cath & drain after the first neuter surgery that was done Friday for an enlarged prostate. It was during this that the mass showed on the X ray. I take him daily for caths and urine drainage. They’ve teaching me how to do this. Wally loves people. But he especially loves me. He’s my caregiver. He’s my comfort. He loves my 18 year old cat Bastet and bathes her every night. He herds her around the house. His favorite things to do- hug me, dance with me, play frisbee, try to catch lizards, and play hide and seek, I have been told by my vet that he must have this tumor removed because it is interfering with his ability to urinate. Surgery is scheduled Thursday with a specialized surgeon. My vet plans to teach me how to cath him and drain the urine until he can recover..
