Lola

Lola is a 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Sterling , CT, who needs $6,000 for Bowel Obstruction Repair Surgery.

Sterling, CT

Help Save Lola – Our Rescue, Our Family, Lola came into our lives after surviving an abusive home. She had no vet care, no safety, and no idea what it meant to be truly loved—until she found us. From the moment she joined our family a year ago, Lola became everything a dog should be: loving, playful, gentle, and fiercely loyal. She is especially my son’s best friend. They are inseparable. Lola ingested a sock, which has been confirmed by a veterinarian through diagnostic imaging to be a linear foreign body obstruction. A linear blockage occurs when a long object (such as a sock, string, or fabric) becomes lodged in the gastrointestinal tract. Unlike a single object, it can anchor in one area while the intestines continue to move, causing them to bunch, fold, or tear. From the moment she joined our family a year ago, Lola became everything a dog should be: loving, playful, gentle, and fiercely loyal. She is especially my son’s best friend. They are inseparable. She is his comfort, his laughter, and his constant companion. Lola came to us shortly after we had to say goodbye to our English Mastiff, who crossed the rainbow bridge at 14 years old. Lola saved us to This was completely unexpected. We just went through an emergency surgery for our cat due to ingesting plant material, which drained our savings. Now, facing the same type of emergency with Lola so suddenly has put us in a financial crisis we were not prepared for.

Farley

Farley is a 11 year old Mix-Breed in Dartmouth , NS, who needs $7,500 for CTs, Surgery, Meds & Mandibulectomy.

Dartmouth

Farley, one of the original “Terror Twins” from Save A Life Rescue, is a goofy, affectionate soul who has made countless people smile. He’s known for his wagging tail, gentle hugs, and the way he always seems to know when someone needs comfort. Farley brings warmth, laughter, and unconditional love everywhere he goes — a truly special dog who means the world to so many. Farley isn’t just our dog — he’s family. At 11, he’s fighting cancer and urgently needs CT scans, a mandibulectomy (jaw surgery) and possible chemotherapy at the Veterinary College in PEI. The medical and travel costs are overwhelming, but we want to give him comfort and more time. Any donation or share helps Farley get the treatment he needs. Farley is special because he brings joy wherever he goes — with his goofy grin, gentle hugs, and endless affection for everyone he meets. He has a calm, loving spirit that makes people feel safe and happy. Alongside his twin brother Chris, the two became unforgettable for their bond and big personalities, spreading warmth, laughter, and unconditional love to everyone around them. Farley needs scans, surgery, medications, and hospitalization to treat his cancer. The estimated cost is $6,000–$8,000, and the hospital requires a 50% upfront deposit before treatment can begin, meaning we must raise a large amount immediately to move forward.
