I bought Daisy for $200, instantly falling for her sweet soul. Sadly, I soon found out she has severe, painful problems in both of her legs. Despite the constant pain, Daisy is a resilient, loving girl who just wants to cuddle. She trusted me to rescue her from a bad situation, and now I am doing everything I can to get her the surgeries she needs to finally walk and run without hurting. Daisy has a severe leg condition requiring orthopedic surgery on both of her hind legs to restore her mobility. Without this treatment, she faces permanent lameness and chronic pain. The total cost for her diagnostic scans, surgeries, and post-op care is $3,400. This essential, life-changing care is being managed by the veterinary team at Root Animal Clinic. Daisy is my absolute world. Even though she came from a tough situation and lives in constant physical pain, she never stops showing unconditional love. She has an incredibly sweet soul and spends every day comforting me with her cuddles. Her recovery matters so much because she deserves a real chance at a happy, pain-free life. I refuse to give up on her; she is family. The unexpected $3,400 veterinary bill for Daisy's leg surgeries is far beyond my financial reach. I am entirely heartbroken that I cannot afford her care on my own. I need community help to save my sweet girl from daily pain and give her a normal life.

Onyx is a 13 yo American Black Lab. She is usually so energetic and playful. She loves her animals brothers and sisters. She loves playing fetch, being loved on, treats and her family. I have had Onyx since my previous lab passed away. She was gifted to me at only 4 months old. We have been through some hard times together. Onyx has always had skin issues. Over the years she’s been tested for allergies and changed foods and different shampoos and different medication’s including steroids and antibiotics. The condition seems to have gotten worse over the last year though. At last Vet visit in October, they thought she possibly had Cushing’s disease. The tests to confirm this are $500 approximately. She has an appointment tomorrow at 4:40 when I get off of work. Side note: My father was battling stage four lung cancer for the last year and a half. Sadly he passed away in May. I have barely managed to keep my home because of the loss of income/costs. I flew from SC to Indiana 9 times last year and have just never recovered financially. Onyx is special for so many reasons. For me, I just need her companionship. I am struggling emotionally after losing my dad and not ready to lose her. I do not want her to suffer. She looks miserable, is not her normal playful self. She deserves comfort. Even if it is nearing her end of life. I just can’t afford everything. My mortgage is 1300 due the 1st. I cannot be late at all right now. As I mentioned above my father passed away in May after a year long battle with stage 4 lung cancer. He had a sudden massive stroke/was only able to squeeze my hand by the time I flew back home. There is not enough space to explain the hell of a year we have had.

Kingston is our 8-year-old poodle mix and our little boy. He’s sweet, loving, cuddly, playful, and definitely a little spoiled. He has always brought so much happiness into our home. We got Kingston when he was young, and he’s been with us through so many different parts of our lives. He loves being around us, getting attention, and following us wherever we go. He’s always been such a happy little dog with so much personality. Kingston has been a huge part of our lives for the past 8 years, and we honestly can’t imagine our family without him. He’s our little boy, and we love him more than we could ever put into words. Kingston has been having serious problems with his back legs and knees, and his mobility has gotten much worse. He has luxating patellas in both knees, with a grade 3 luxation in his left knee and grade 2 in his right. He also has arthritis in his hips, and his vet is concerned there may be a meniscus injury as well. He is now struggling to stand up and walk, and sometimes cries or yelps when he tries to get up. He can barely take a few steps without struggling. We’ve been working closely with his veterinarian and have tried medications, Adequan injections, supplements, and strict rest to help manage his pain and mobility. Kingston is receiving his care through his regular veterinarian, who is monitoring his condition and helping us determine the best treatment for him moving forward. Kingston has been with us for 8 years and has been a part of so many important moments in our lives. He’s been there through everything, and he’s always been a constant source of happiness and comfort for us. He’s our little boy, and we love him more than we can explain. Seeing him struggle to walk and watching him be in pain has been really heartbreaking. We just want our Kingston back—the happy little dog who follows us around, wants to be next to us, and gets excited about the little things. His recovery means everything to us because we can’t imagine our family without him. We just want to give him the best chance at getting comfortable, being pain-free, and enjoying his life again. Any support, no matter how big or small, will help us give Kingston the care he needs, and we’re incredibly grateful for anything anyone is able to give. We’re turning to our community for help because Kingston’s care has become more than we can comfortably manage on our own. We’ve already been doing everything we can to help him, including vet visits, testing, medications, injections, and supplements, but his condition has continued to get worse and he needs ongoing care. We recently bought our first home, so we’re still adjusting to all of the expenses that come with that, and having Kingston become sick during this time has been really difficult financially. We never expected to be in a position where we would need to ask for help, but we also don’t want finances to prevent us from getting Kingston the care he needs. He’s our little boy, and we want to do everything we can for him. Any amount of support, no matter how small, will help toward his veterinary care. Even sharing his story means so much to us, and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who supports Kingston.

Hi my name is Rocky & I was adopted from the Animal Shelter when I was 4 months old. I love outside activity, chew toys & most certainly food! I love to be outdoors & go hiking. I am your best snuggle buddy & can always tell when my family doesn’t feel good. I am my pet moms emotional support & have helped her through the grievance of her fathers passing. I have a huge heart & bigger personality. I am currently being treated at East Hills Veterinary in Pittsburg where I have received all my care. I was recently playing fetch outdoors and injured my right knee. I now have to have TPOL surgery as this will not heal on its own I am my pet mom’s first ever pet and have been with her since 4 months old. She saved me from the shelter and we have an emotional bond that you can see when we look into each others eyes. We love to workout together and snuggle on the couch and watch movies. I can tell my mom is hurt by watching me limp around in pain knowing there is nothing she can do. I am turning to the community because unfortunately I cannot afford the surgery and do not qualify for CareCredit. Rocky has more life to live and to see him miserable breaks my heart. He’s my first pet ever and my kids are growing up with him. They love to play with him.

Meet cheecharron, our 5 yrs old pug and the heart of our home. He’s playful, gentle, and impossibly kind, the kind of dog whose presence alone brings calm and comfort. Since the day he joined our family, he’s been our shadow and our best friend. To us, he’s not just a pet, he’s one of us, loved beyond words. He developed a urinary blockage, a life-threatening emergency. He was treated for a UTI that came roaring back within days, and now a suspected bladder stone is blocking his ability to urinate. He urgently needs to be unblocked and stabilized at a 24/7 emergency hospital. Without treatment now, his life is at risk. Being near Cheech feels like peace. He greets every hard day with a wagging tail and turns our house into a home. He’s our son’s best friend and our family’s comfort. Losing him would break something in all of us. He’s only 5, with so much life left and he’s spent every day of it loving us. We’ve done everything we can, vet visits, tests, and medication but the emergency costs have outpaced what we’re able to cover ~ 5k. Morty came to me in my early 20's. A neighbor found him right before a 2 week trip to Italy, so I took him in for "foster" that same same day. After maybe an hour with him I headed to PetSmart to buy him a collar, made an appointment for a neuter, and started the process of adopting him. He currently lives with his younger brother, Rigby, my cat, Bodack, and an ever rotating cycle of foster dogs. I have always had pet insurance for Morty, which allowed me to take him in at the slightest sign of illness. In 2023, he had a benign plasmacytoma removed which is causing pet insurance to count lymphoma as pre-existing. His lymph nodes began swelling 7/29, and I took him to the emergency vet. After several tests with B cell confirmed, we are working with Saint Francis Veterinary for treatment. Morty is my entire life. He loves everyone-dogs, cats, kids, adults, the vet. He is always with me, and for several years acted as a service dog for me in public spaces. He is an amazing ambassador of pittie type dogs, and everyone who meets him loves him. He loves to go on walks, and he has a special touch with shy dogs that help them get out of their shell. I am a single breadwinner. I pay all of my bills alone, and I have exhausted my personal resources, including family support. I don't make much, and I try to supplement with dog sitting but his treatment is going to be close to $10,000 plus.

I love her so deeply 💖 I brought to banfield pet hospital in everett, I thought she was having ear mite, unfortunately it turns out it her teeth problem, it needed be cleansing, and have resorptive teeth whoch need pull out might 2 of them and one big also need crown, they dont feel comfortable to pull out. Also it needed xray first before do it. My cat special is unique because we have same personality that why I felt God chose her to brought with me to home!!! She love sound ring bells, and feather. She love watching me when i use my American sign language (talk to friends) She knows I am deaf. Unfortunately i am only on ssi and ssdi, this out of blue, it really quite expensive and I literally cant afford it at all. Also I am still in processing with dvr.

I met Pepper when she was just four months old in St. Cloud, Florida. She was the last puppy left from her litter, and I was told that she was extremely shy and timid. Boy was I wrong! (Spoiler alert she needs patellar luxation surgery from chasing lizards) she is my wild child. Pepper is the sweetest most loving dog as she truly changed my life for the better. Pepper injured her back left leg while chasing a lizard. She immediately cried and held her leg up, so I took her to the veterinarian. We learned that she has a grade 3 luxating patella in her back left leg. Her kneecap is repeatedly slipping out of its normal position. Because of the severity of her condition, surgery has been recommended to repair her left knee. Pepper is still so young, and I want nothing more than to give her the chance to run, walk, play, and live the happy life she deserves. She is my only family here in Clearwater and as someone that can’t have children, I consider her to be my one and only child. The cost of her surgery and recovery is more than I can afford on my own, which is why I’m asking for help. I never expected to be in a position where I would have to ask strangers for help with my dog, but I will do anything I can for Pepper.
