My sweet Yorkie, Chase, is so much more than just a pet—he is my family, my little companion, and a huge part of my heart. He has the biggest personality packed into his tiny body. He is loving, playful, affectionate, and has a little bit of that classic Yorkie sass that makes everyone who meets him smile. He loves being close to me, following me around, cuddling, and making sure he is always part of whatever I’m doing. His little personality has brought so much happiness and comfort into my life, and it is heartbreaking to see him struggling now. I am doing everything I can to get him the medical care he needs, but the cost of his treatment has become more than I can manage on my own. I’m asking for help from anyone who is willing to donate, share, or simply keep my little guy in their thoughts. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to getting him the care he needs and giving him the chance to come home happy, comfortable, and back to being his silly, loving self. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping my little boy. Our sweet Yorkie, Chase, is being seen at Bush Animal Clinic because he has recently had blood in his stool and has also been vomiting. The cause is not yet known, so the veterinarians need to perform X-rays and bloodwork to determine what is wrong and figure out the best course of treatment. We are hoping to get answers quickly so he can receive the care he needs and begin feeling better. Unfortunately, we do not have the finances available upfront to cover these unexpected medical expenses, which is why we are turning to our community for help. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help us get the testing and treatment he needs and bring us one step closer to getting our little boy healthy again. Slash was rescued from a colony of neighborhood cats. I’ve always been actively involved in helping and caring for the animals in my community, and when I found Slash, I knew I wanted to give him a safe and loving home. He is not only a rescued cat but also now my emotional support animal. What started as me rescuing him became a bond where he brings just as much comfort and love as I give to him He needs care for his broken arm. He was last seen at Happy Paws Slash is special because he went from being rescued from a neighborhood cat colony to becoming a beloved member of my family and my emotional support animal. His journey reminds me why helping animals matters. Despite his difficult start, Slash is loving, resilient, and brings me comfort, joy, and unconditional companionship every day. I am seeking assistance with Slash’s care due to extreme cuts in my work hours, making his unexpected veterinary expenses difficult to afford. Anini was owned by a homeless women here in Hawaii. She was turned over to the humane society at just 2 months old. I saw her and knew she was meant to be a best friend to kipukai, my other dog who was 5 at the time. She comes with me to the office, becoming a therapy dog with children. She has become a vital part of our family and asks for nothing in return but love and kisses. Anini jumped from the open window, falling 10-15 feet. On impact she broke her leg, three bones. The diagnosis is surgery to put a plate in to heal the bones. If she doesn’t get the surgery she will likely lose her leg. Three legged dogs are great but she has a hip and knee joint problem, causing instability. Kapaa Veterinary Clinic took X-rays and the estimate for surgery is $8000. Anini is best friends with her older brother kipukai 11 and they are active in my mental health therapy office. She is important to our family but also to the children that come to therapy as it keeps them at ease. She is keeping kipukai active and happy as they love to run and swim at the beach together. Kipukai misses his friend and wants to run and play again soon. We miss her joyful attitude. I am just starting my business solo and have little capital. It is very expensive to live in Hawaii and the cost of the surgery will leave us in a dire financial situation. Any support from other dog lovers is appreciated.

Ella is a Boston Terrier that absolutely loves people! She will show you her love by running into your open arms and giving you loads of kisses and snuggling up to you in your arms. Ella enjoys adventures - from her walks around the neighborhood, to concerts in the park, road trips near and far, the gym, and visits to the dog park - she simply wants to be where the action is. Her love is tangible! On Friday, 8/21/26, Ella started showing signs of tremors and seizures with foaming at the mouth, drooling incessantly, shaking, low energy, circling and pacing, and started seizing with her tongue out. She is currently receiving amazing care at Dove Lewis Animal Hospital. Her current diagnosis is a possible brain tumor or Meningoencephalitis of Unknown Origin. Both are life threatening. Ella is special because she came into my life at a time where I was healing from an abusive relationship. Her ability to comfort and be spunky makes her the best! She is the bright spot in our house with her sass, unconditional love and high energy. Everyone that meets Ella falls in love with her - nobody is a stranger to Ella. She is a source of light and joy to many! I am asking for help from the community, because her diagnosis came unexpectedly and is costing a lot of money to treat. I want Ella to have the best care and treatment, which she does; however, to get to the diagnosis a lot of tests, meds, and imaging needs to be completed.

This is Pickle. He's the biggest goofball I know. I fostered him from Dakin Humane Society when he was two months old. I was supposed to give him back. I didn't stand a chance. He talked his way into my heart, literally. He chats at me constantly, chirps and grumbles like he's telling me about his day. He's a champion snuggler, who thinks every human he meets owes him something. About four months ago I noticed him limping. He's always carried himself a little off to one side, and I think an old injury made his hips and knees, already not quite right, get worse over time. Dakin Animal Services has been his vet since the day he came in as a puppy, and they're the ones helping me figure out what's actually going on. Pickle has been one of the few reasons I get out of bed some mornings. He grounds me. There's something in the way he looks at me that feels less like a pet and more like an old friend who found his way back to me. The road ahead likely includes more imaging, more testing, and possibly surgery. I don't know the full number yet, but I know it's more than I can carry alone. I'm a mom of two, and I live with chronic illness that already stretches what I can do and what I can pay for.

I got Abby as puppy from oklahoma, she’s a Pure breed Catahoula. Abby is a sweet grouchy “ole lady”. Abby has been battling a chronic ear infection and she’s been through several treatments, including a surgery to remove a polyp in her ear. So at this point, I am 2k deep into a problem that seems to never be solved. We have been through meds. I have tried changing food. I have tried antibiotics. I would like to try a longer round of meds. Worst case scenario is we’re looking at your canal removal Abby is such a sweet dog and because of these chronic ear infections she’s been so grouchy and miserable. And because of the smell, no one wants to get real close to her, and I miss being able to cuddle with her. I’m a single mother who often can’t afford everything in the last year I have spent fighting triple negative breast cancer.

This is Latte. He was an straight cat and started to go inside the house through doggie door, he will let you pet him, he will come in the middle of the night and start crying. Until finally one day he stayed and never left. He use to get into fights until we got him neutered. He’s extremely lovable, loved to cuddle and loves to play by himself. The plays with toys or any small thing he can find on the floor. May be two months ago I had to take him to the vet because I notice he couldn’t pee and was very uncomfortable, they say he has kidney problems and need special food for the rest of his life. They give him pain medicine and told me that it will happen again. I had to take him again because he started being uncomfortable again and it was the same issue, having a hard time peeing, hardly eating, blood on in his pee. And now is happening again for the 3rd time. He’s been seeing at desert ark vet in Avondale Arizona. Because he chose me as his family, and I took him in with an open heart. He’s likes to lay down on me and give me cat massages. He is extremely lovable and he is part of my family i love him and I want the best for him. I am retired 72 year old women and cannot financially afford to keep taken care of him. I’m Already on over $1000 in debt from His previous appointments. My income is only 1000 a month which is not sufficient for extra bills as I also have other pets. My income is very limited.

About a year ago, someone reached out to me on Facebook after seeing a photo of me with my other bird. They asked if I would be willing to take Hollypaul because he wasn’t getting much time out of his cage or the attention he needed. He had already been moved around a few times, and they wanted him to have a better home, so of course I said yes. Hollypaul became extremely lethargic and weak and was even going limp, which led to emergency veterinary care. He has improved some with medication, but we still do not know what is causing his illness. We are waiting on swab results, and he still needs blood testing and X-rays so we can figure out what is wrong and what treatment he actually needs. Hollypaul has a huge personality and quickly became part of our family. He is funny, stubborn, affectionate, and has his own little routines and ways of getting everyone's attention. Even though he has only been with us abouta year, it feels much longer. He finally has a home where he gets the attention and love he deserves, and I want to do everything can to keep it that way. I’ve already spent a lot on Hollypaul’s vet care in less than a week, and we still don’t know what’s wrong. I can’t afford the blood work and X-rays he still needs, and I wasn’t approved for CareCredit or other financing, so I’m asking for help.

Help Winnie get Exam and unknown follow up after her exam. — Ariel, WA

Winnie came into our lives when I rescued her mom who was dumped while she was pregnant. We ended up having to keep Winnie and 2 of her brothers Colt and Ruger along with their mom Remi. Winnie has a great personality, she loves to run and play with her 2 brothers and tackle them to the ground. She is very loving and loves to cuddle with dad. Winnie had her first heat and we were told to allow that before spaying her. Unfortunately she got loose from our yard and ended up with a litter of pups. She now has a swollen, hot to the touch, rock hard mammary gland that is causing her extreme pain and discomfort. Winnie and her 2 brothers and her mother all bonded very tightly to our family and they all mean the world to us because even through tough times they are still very appreciative of us giving them a home where they are loved everyday I have been layed off work for over a year. I just don't have the unexpected high vet cost they are requiring for us to get Winnie the medical attention she desperately needs.
