I work at an Emergency Specialty hospital and Motor T was brought in as “Snoopy” at 9 mo old. He was brought into our ER barely alive after he was attacked by another dog. He had puncture wounds everywhere and both of his front legs were broken. His left front leg was so badly broken it needed to be amputated. His owners decided to euthanize him,but I pleaded to them.They surrendered him to me. He had a linear foreign body surgery in July that I am still paying off and now has another obstruction. He is not able to hold down food and is becoming more lethargic. I can not afford a second procedure. He is such a spunky loving boy, him being a tripod does not hold him back. He started as a very timid shy baby to the most cuddly goofy boy with so much personality. He is so gentle with my son and loves belly rubs. He is a power chewer and he helps keep our old dog young with his playful antics. I have had him for 2 years now and his first surgery was $6k, the one in July was $4k and now we are faced with another $4000. I’m a single mom to a son with autism and he has never bonded with any dog like Motor T. I can stand the thought of my son losing a best friend.

Fritz is a pure Breed German Shepard that I got when we bought our new house. I got him for my daughter as soon as we bought our house. He lives with me, my daughter and my two sons. I have another dog who is older that he has been growing up with. My oldest just moved back in with me and recently bought a puppy that is his dog. He takes care of her. The puppy and Fritz have done great together. I haven’t had a chance to take Fritz to the vet as I am struggling too much at the moment. Bills are high, food is expensive and now Fritz had thrown up one day and the past three days after that he has had diarrhea. I’ve tried rice, boiled chicken, probiotic food and anti diarrhea meds. Poor thing still has it. I can’t even afford to take him to the vet as I’m completely broke and cant get loans. Fritz is our baby, our protector of the running leafs in our front yard, my daughter’s therapy when she comes home and is strugging, he’s energetic and has learned to be an amazing dog. He loves to play fetch outside in our yard with my daughter. He follows us everywhere and listens fairly well when we tell him to do something such as go in his crate. I’m heartbroken taking him out all hours of the day and night and seeing him struggling to go to the bathroom. I want to see our baby healthy again and stop having diarrhea so I can get him to eat more as he has lost weight and looks too skinny.

My puppy, Junior, was born to my dog, Puma. He is 4 out of 4 brothers and the runt of the litter. They just turned 8 weeks old and stopped nursing. A few days later, Junior had bloody diarrhea and couldn’t stop vomiting. He is so thin, you can feel things moving inside his gut (we assume worms because the other puppies have them). Junior has Parvo, we went to a vet last night but they sent us away for lack of funds. He is the most rambunctious of his brothers, regardless of his size. Now he can hardly move. He has lost weight and can’t keep anything down. We miss our spunky, little Junior. We are homeless so can’t cover his emergency care. We have tried all night to gather the funds and have been unsuccessful. If he doesn’t get care now he isn’t gonna make it.

Our C.c., came to us from a rescue in North Carolina, 2014 @ 11-months young. She should have been called shadow because that is what she has been for the past 11-years. She is, as I am her emotional support. She would come to work with me daily when I was a Tech at animal hospital. She is quite comfortable with her dog-dad & I. (Love circles us.) C.c., was diagnosed with congested heart failure and, She was admitted to Advanced Veterinary Hospital. C.c., was released on the second day of treatment & observation. With recommendation for a cardiologist. Visited LeadEr, 2-days later. She has a great regiment of meds as one or effects her other organs. Therefore, additional meds are needed. Oh! My, C.c., loves everyone and loves to visit her step-fur-sisters & brothers & loves to make new friends. She would enjoy car rides and our yearly trips to NY & Boston. When she was up North, you couldn't keep her out of the cool & snow. C.c., loved chasing her Frisbee and jolly ball. She loves her dad parent. It saddens me to not allow her her favorites, as she strictly prohibited from play. I and my significant other are both retired and on a fixed income. We have maxed out our credit. It woul be a Blessing to have C.c. well again and allow her, her pleasures. she has an upcoming appt. in Feb. with Dr. Tracy Rupp.also to discuss a used pacemaker option. 🐾🩷🐾

Molly is a 12 Year Old English Cocker Spaniel in Philadelphia, PA, Who Needs $2,000 for Surgery for Growth Over Eye and In Ear.

This is Molly and she is my 12 yr old baby dog. The paat year Molly has developed another growth. It has grown in size causing her eye to droop. It has been one year that i noticed the growth. Had to my vet 2 months ago but i am concerned about her level of comfort and her vision being compromised. She also has a growth in her ear that is quite sizeable. She is a sweet loving dog. Please help. Molly is seen at Rau animal hospital in Jenkintown Pennsylvania. They are amazing. Molly is my shadow. I worry about her level of comfort and her eye not opening as a result of the growth. Molly is the sweetest baby, she clings to me. Just lays in weird adorable positions mostly on my head and shoulders. I find as she is aging I don't want to leave her alone. I would really love to help her quality of life. I worry constantly she is in pain or her eye will droop a little more and just close. I am not one to ask for handouts or help but I know all good people who love their animals will understand, you do anything for them. Thank

Peri winkle was saved from a breeding house, he was the last of the puppies that they could not sell. He was going to be put down but we paid $500 to save him from the ugly conditions he was living in. He is now a new brother to another rescue in similar condition. Unfortunately our Mail person left the gate open to the front door and he was able to get out on to the busy street after realizing he was not in the house, I ran out to the street and watched him get hit by the car. The driver did not stop.:( his back leg is completely shattered and needs to be amputated or surgery. Unfortunately I do not have $16,000 to cover his suregery and vet stay. He is amazing with kids and has done some charitable thing with houston children’s, saying hello and giving wet kisses. He’s a big ball of love who is loved by many. I am currently the head of the family running on a fixed income, helping my partner who is currently not working due to the loss of his job. We are trying to get back on our feet to support our home and this expense has created a great sense of stress.

He likes to go outside and play alot Since he was little, he has had a heart murmur, and also needs dental work, the veterinarian that we took him too, says that he will die if they were to sedate him because of his heart murmur. He needs a lot of teeth extracted as well We have raised him since he was a couple months old, as long as he sees you enough, he generally gets protective of you. He likes to cuddle with you as you sleep. This is an unexpected expense, as well as a loss of job situation. I might not have any incoming income for the time being, until I can find another job

Mia is the STAR of my life! We’ve been friends for 11 years now. My mom texted me one day and said, Dylan there are free speckled puppies at some neighbor’s house. I went and fell in love immediately. She was the last one. I named her Mia after the Princess Diaries, a wholesome comfort movie of mine. She has a brother named Dawson, who is her rescue buddy! We love hiking and exploring and BALL! Mia has a large sarcoma mass that needs to be removed. It’s on her back left leg, and if left unattended for much longer there could be the possibility of amputation which would alter her life and I want to avoid. We go to Asheville Vet Associates-West. Dr Goff has been so helpful to us. Mia is know for her “Chewbacca” noises when you enter the house! Especially if you know her, she loves her human friends, her bestie dog friend, Harlowe and her Nana and MeeMaw! She’s obsessed with my pittie mix (her bubba) and she nibbles his whiskers quite often to show her affection. We are running on a very small budget. Living in Asheville after Hurricane Helene is proving to be difficult on us financially because I’m in a work industry that relies heavily on tourists.
