We got Kato & his brother Melo when they were 13 weeks old from one of my daughter friends. Her dad's rottwieler got his girlfriend's cane corso "accidently" pregnant & they could not afford to take care of them. Kato lives with me & my 3 kids. He's my "go everywhere" buddy. If he isn't sleeping with me, then he's cuddled up with one of the kids or just makes the rounds and sleeps with us all. On a normal walk with both Kato and Melo, something caught both of the dogs noses or eyesight, ripped the leashes right out of our hands and took off towards the street. We screamed, Melo stopped, but Kato ran in front of a pick up truck. The driver slammed on the breaks, but still made impact. He has a ruptured lung, which is leaking air into his chest, internal bleeding and a herniated diaphragm Kato has always been a curious little adventurer. He loves to run and play, which is funny to watch because he prances and jumps kind of like a deer. When he's not bringing you his favorite pink squishy ball is right at your feet or cuddled up next to you on the bed or couch. I call him my distinguished gentlemen because he is always at attention with such a poised demeanor. A truly handsome guy! Kato is the cornerstone of our household. Just exercising with him has brought my stress levels down and when my kids are emotional from the trials and tribulations of being teenagers, he is right there through all the emotions with that unconditional love and presence.

My five-year-old Maltese has been the greatest gift in my life, and I am truly blessed to have him. He has been my family’s strongest emotional support during the past few years, especially during stressful study nights, caregiving, and financial stress. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently undergoing treatment, while my father has Parkinson’s and dementia. Soju has developed serious dental problems, including thick tartar, inflamed gums, and pain during eating. The vet advised that he urgently requires professional cleaning and possibly extractions under anesthesia to prevent infection from spreading to his organs. His treatment will take place at Hayward Veterinary Hospital once the necessary funds are raised. Soju isn't just a pet — he's my everything and the heart of my home. He was my savior from depression and helped me get through it during the pandemic. I wouldn't be here without him. He brings comfort to my family and me. We love him deeply. He's gentle, loving, and full of life. I just want to see him healthy, eating happily, and smiling again. As a full-time nursing student and family caregiver, I find it challenging to cover tuition, rent, and daily expenses. My limited income makes Soju's dental estimate unaffordable. Hi!my name is Valerie & my best friend in the world's name is Nova. Nova came into my life in 2019. She was the last of her litter. A friend of mine called & asked if I would like a female pitbull about 12weeks. I immediately said yes.she was soooo short I could only see the tippy top of her tail when walking around the bed ( today's date you can only see maybe a little bit more☺️) Nova has been a very healthy dog. Besides getting spayed & routine vaccines by the local Animal services. She has a UTI that can turn into a kidney infection if not treated. Epic Specialty & Emergency Vet Care 160$+ prescriptions Nova has a buddy named Tony who lives at my dad's house. They are 2 peas in a pod when I visit. There isn't enough sticks on the tree for those two! Nova has an ear when she puts it just right she looks like a little elf. Nova is my best friend & I did live pay check to pay check till I lost my job last Tuesday. I can't afford it & it kills me not to be able to help her. She has been by my side & I'd do anything for her

This is Minko our dog. He came into our family after his previous owner passed away in a car accident (he was a homeless puppy when that owner took him in). Minko is wonderful, well behaved & has a great personality. He is so unique. We are overjoyed that he became an addition to our family. He lives w me, my 2 brothers, my mom & our 2 cats & other dog. We are blessed having him & them in our life Minko just became paralyzed (back legs, spinal injury). We are learning to express his bladder & care for him as he is learning what is happening to him. He is very confused, sad, & in pain. We are trying our best to get him the medical care he needs for him to have the quality of life he deserves. We have seen a neurologist with Animal Neurology Ctr located in St. Louis, MO. Minko is such an amazing awesome lil dude. For being little, he’s not afraid of thunderstorms. He comforts our other dog who is. He’s so friendly that even a stranger will take to the liking of him. He greets everyone everywhere along w his stubby lil tail wagging everytime. He gets along w all animals that we have taken in. He loves exploring. Minko is such a great companion. A Best 4ever Friend Our Minko fundraiser is to raise funds to give Minko the help & necessary medical care he deserves. Unfortunately, we do not have all the funds needed for doing so. Bubba

Bubba is a rescue. We got him on September 15th and have been teaching him what a loving family is. He’s an energetic and sweet pup, he wouldn’t hurt any other animals too! He loves any attention. We were told his mom is a purebred Husky and his dad is a purebred American Pit, but he looks more shepherd than pit. Bubba has recently tested positive for parvo and roundworms. We do have some medication from the vet but he’s recently been taking a turn for the worse and it’s hitting us hard. We’re providing him comfort and if he does anything he’s not supposed to we tell him it’s okay, it’s not his fault. It’s hard watching him go from the loving energetic pup to barely being able to move, eat or drink. Bubba has quickly made himself part of the family. While it was a kind of rocky start, he would be hard to let go. He’s our family’s first pet so that makes it harder. He’s loves his sister, our daughter Everly, and loves to play with her and make her laugh. She loves ”her dog” too. He’s his mommas sweet boy and will snuggle often. But he’s a daddy’s boy through and through, especially now. We don’t have any income currently and can’t afford anymore treatments than what we are already doing. This is not just a strain on us financially but emotionally. Our daughter only knows that he is sick, we don’t want to explain to her how bad it is.

We got Aaliyah through a personal home, we have her since she was a baby, she been with is for 10 years, my daughter named her, We have 2 birds a canure boy Skittles and a girl parakeet Mika, we love them very much❤️ Aaliyah was hit by a car and dislocated a leg, we took her to the hospital twice but bc we didn’t have the money they send her home with pain meds, she is in a lot of pain, but they say she will ajust😢😢 Its sad that is not about helping them, os all about the money Aaliyah is really smart, dad doesn’t want her on the bed, but when he leaves to work I bring her up, if papa cones back she plays dead, for him not to know that she is inder the blanket, she also knows how to open a bottle of water 💦 she is very happy and lovely dog I lost my job due to going back and forth to Pierto Rico, due to my mom having Ahizimer, I am still traveling every 2 month to assist with my mom, its been bery hard and now I am devastated knowing that my baby Aaliyah is in pain bc I dont have the money for surgery 😢

I found her breeder through a friend. She had been bought as a puppy by someone else and then returned to the breeder at age 2. She was a wild mess, but I knew after 2 days of having her that I couldnt not send her back even though she had a breathing issue. The prior vert assured us he could fix her and 2 procedures later and after taking thousands of dollars from me, he washed his hands of us. She’s been struggling with a serious breathing issue that makes every breath a battle, even on a short walk in temperatures over 50 degrees. Watching her fight to breathe is heartbreaking, and all I want is to see her healthy and happy again. She wants to work and do all the things so badly! She has so much potential that is sadly being snuffed out by this breathing issue. Not only is she my heart dog, but she is also a task trained medical service dog for my medical condition. Her and I just "mesh" and we always have. She reads me like a book. She knows what I am thinking before I do. I have already spend thousands out of pocket on prior procedures and care. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the next steps in her treatment. I have been trying to get this done since August of 2023 and I am finally pleading for help. She needs more diagnostics.

Romeo was an originally a foster dog that when I went to the shelter a few days before Christmas I said give me the dog that’s been here the longest. After having Romeo I fell in love and knew I failed at fostering. We know he was chained to a pole and abandoned prior to us having him but even with that he was the sweetest and gentlest boy. Now he’s a happy member of a 4 dog household. Romeo will eat anything food related never had issues with non food items, this boy would eat spinach, well he found himself a corncob, I took him to the vet and they said continue to watch him. A week later after it appeared he was on the med he took a turn for the worse and we found he had a perforated bowl and needed a resection. Romeo is just what his name said. A true charmer! He is loving and needs to snuggle. He loves giving kisses and very snack oriented however will turn up his nose at a long walk. As we all know life is life-ing and I am no worse off than anyone else but didn’t exactly have this extra expense just laying around. I do have a job and I work hard as do may people I just didn’t know if there was extra help

We got Raine from a rescue about 2 months ago as a 4 month old puppy as soon as we saw her we knew she was a good fit for our family and then we drove 6 hours to get her She has been diagnosed with parvo virus from a neighboring dog we were not informed at the time of adoption that she was not fully vaccinated for it and that she would need further vaccinations at the time Raine is a super sweet snuggly puppy she gets along great with other animals and my 6 year old son is absolutely obsessed with her she is great with him and they love chasing each other around the house and yard. She gets super excited to see any family members and guests and welcome all with a whole butt wiggle with everyone. I lost my job back in September and have maxed out any option we have so far on trying to get Raine better and come home but that was only enough to cover about a 1/4 of the bills that are adding up quickly and if we cant further treatment she will have to be euthanized
