Stella

Stella is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Millersville, VA, who needs $5,000 for Emergency Exploratory Laparotomy to Repair Ulcer.

Millersville, VA

Stella came into my life as a puppy from an owner who could no longer care for her, and from that moment on, she became my everything. Since she was a puppy, she’s lived by my side in my home, surrounded by love, and she sleeps next to me every night. She’s been my rock and my soul through life’s ups and downs—always there, always loving without condition. Stella isn’t just my dog—she’s my heart My dog, Stella, recently experienced a serious and unexpected medical emergency that required immediate surgical intervention. She developed a severe ulcer in her stomach, and it was discovered that her gastrointestinal (GI) tract and stomach lining had torn. This complication was likely the result of prolonged use of pain medication following her yearly routine dental cleaning. She's at AAVEC Stella is truly the heart of our home. She has a gentle, loving personality and an incredible ability to sense when someone needs comfort. Whether it’s a quiet moment on the couch or a stressful day, she’s always right there—either curled up beside us or resting her head on our lap as if she understands exactly what we need. Stella’s emergency surgery exceeded $20,000, creating a major financial strain for our family. Any support helps ease this burden and allows us to focus on her recovery. Having her healthy again means everything—she’s truly part of our family.

Chloe

Chloe is a 6 month old Poodle in Manhattan , NY, who needs $5,000 for Spiral Fracture of the Left Tibia.

Manhattan, NY

our pup Chloe, born 11/05/25. An intended sale for my girls felt like a rescue mission after review of her home at eight weeks old the conditions resembled a puppy mill rather than an ethical breeder, and I felt it was necessary to rescue her She is now six months old and has become a beloved companion for me and my two daughters. Chloe is extremely active smart and proven to be an escape artist Chloe, who has been diagnosed with a fracture. While NYSAVE covered her initial diagnostics and X-rays at HeartofHarlem Veterinary Hospital, they confirmed she likely requires surgery.Because my current clinic lacks an orthopedic surgeon, I was referred to a new facility. However, they require a $361 re-examination fee before I can apply for further grants through their facilities I wanted to share how extraordinary 6mo old dog, Chloe is. She displays an intuitive awareness of human emotions, comfortingly sitting by me when I am upset and retrieving water bottles from the table or fridge without formal training. Her innate ability to follow instructions and respond to feelings at such a young age is truly remarkable. She is a sweet, active, talented, and smart companion I am a student and single mother of two living in public housing. I am currently unable to afford a necessary surgery for my puppy, and your assistance with these costs would mean a great deal to my family.

Willow

Willow is a 9 year old Poodle in Mont Clare, PA, who needs $25,000 for Stereotactic Radiation.

Mont Clare, PA

My baby girl's name is Willow, I call her Bug. She is 9.5 years young with a lot of life & energy left in her given the circumstances. I have had her since she was born, my very first dog when I was 6 is her bloodline. This girl means the absolute world to me, she is my heart & soul. I have recently bought my first little condo home (about 1.5years ago). So we have our own space now. Recently she had her first grand mal seizure, blood panel came back fine. A month later it turned into cluster seizures. The scariest moments of my life leaping across the bed, catching her half way to the floor. She has always been healthy, so I got an MRI at HVHS. She has a glioma tumor in her left piriform lobe. I am set for a consult w/ VRC. I believe this is the early stages. My happiest moments with her, is when she is in her happy place out in nature. She loves to squirrel & bunny watch, cooling down in the creek on a warm day, jumping & rolling around in the snow. Any time of the year, that is where she wants to be. She is constantly people & nature watching from our little deck or her pillow on the couch. She is always by your side if you are down, looking to help. Her episodes came on quick so, I paid out of pocket for her emergency visit. Three trips in one week to the vet (and meds) when it all started, her consult & MRI at the Neuro (more meds). All of this has drained my accounts & I'm doing things I have never done to help her.

Athena

Athena is a 3 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier in Goshen, IN, who needs $15,000 for Hip, Leg, and Abdominal Surgery.

Goshen, IN

I rescued Athena from a hot car she had been living in in the heat of August almost 3 years ago, she is a very special part of our family along with our 5 other fur babies. Athena is the most gentle, sweet, lovable girl and is so gentle with my 2 year old granddaughter. She loves to sit on our feet, including company and her favorite spot to sleep is at my foot of the bed. I love her so much Athena was struck by a school bus that was speeding. I called our vet but he wouldn't see her so I took her to 2 other vets in Michigan both said weren't equipped to care for her and recommended that I take her to an emergency clinic in Ft Wayne Indiana, which is where she is right now. She needs immediate surgery and I can't afford the amount but I'll do anything to save her life. She saved me Athena loves my family, friends and grandchildren. She gets along well with other dogs and loves attention. Especially sitting on people's feet or just giving you her paw. She loves treats, car rides, snuggles and sleeping in bed next to me. Athena is very much loved and cared for. I don't know what I would do without her My fiance paints and repairs broadcasting towers and hasn't been able to work until recently due to the weather. It's starting to stay warm so he's been able to start work. I desperately need help with paying Athenas vet bills and for her surgery. I can't lose her

“No-tail Boy” Benny Urgently Needs Our Help

Lakeville, MN • SaveAFox Rescue

SaveAFox’s Benny has already survived more than most. Rescued alongside over 500 foxes from a fur farm, his journey to freedom was only the beginning. While others began to heal, “No-Tail Boy” remained in quarantine, battling one illness after another. First coccidia, then salmonella, both a grueling fight. Now, just as he deserves a fresh start, he faces his biggest challenge yet: a fractured elbow that requires urgent surgery. Without it, he cannot properly heal. The procedure, including placing a stabilizing pin, is expected to cost up to $6,000. For any rescue this is an overwhelming expense, but one that could change everything for him. Through it all, Benny continues to fight with quiet resilience. SaveAFox is committed to giving him the life he was once denied. They just can’t do it alone. Your donation can help cover his surgery, recovery, and the care he needs to finally leave pain behind. He’s come this far. Please help him take the next step toward healing. 6/3/26 Update: Benny Is Healing, But His Journey Isn't Over Benny has officially undergone surgery to repair his fractured elbow and is now focused on recovery. After everything he has endured, from battling coccidia and salmonella to suffering an unexpected elbow fracture, this resilient fox is finally making encouraging progress. He is doing well with physical therapy and continues working toward regaining strength and comfort in his leg. While Benny is healing, he still requires ongoing rehabilitation, monitoring, and supportive care before he will be ready for his forever home. His medical journey has been extensive, and the cost of his care has now exceeded $12,000. Between treatment for multiple illnesses, surgery, and continued recovery support, Benny's needs have far surpassed what anyone anticipated. SaveAFox remains committed to giving Benny every opportunity to heal and thrive, and donations will continue to help offset the significant costs of his medical care and recovery. Thank you for supporting Benny and helping him take the next steps toward the healthy future he deserves.

MacKenna

MacKenna is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Meeker, CO, who needs $2,000 for Surgery for Bladder Stone Blockage.

Meeker, CO

MacKenna was adopted out of a multi-pet family home where she was bullied and food deprived by other pets in the home. She thrived in a single pet and future accomodating multi-pet environment. She has saved me from the thoughts of my own mind and the difficulties of recovery from addiction, and her presence through our adventures has been the saving grace that kept me going in the darkest of time MacKenna has had ongoing difficulty with her bladder and vagina, and a stone has formed in her bladder which prevents her from urinating, causing a large buildup of minerals in her bloodstream. Without treatment within the next 24-48 hours, she will require euthanasia to prevent the pain and suffering she is currently undergoing. Her survival is dependent on this surgery. MacKenna is a "foodie" and is highly motivated by seafood flavored food. She loves cuddling with her family members, including the family rottweiler, and her favorite place is beside her humans on the bed, where she wraps her arms around them to stay in place and gives hugs in her sleep. She is always friendly and accomodating, except when her food is threatened, but otherwise cuddles with others We have been housed in low income housing for several years and are working to get housing of our own, but MacKenna's veterinary expenses and vehicle repairs have left us short on funds. We desperately need assistance to keep our friend alive and healthy, but time is short.
