Liea came to me unexpectedly as a young pup was given up and I took her in after I saw her and she lives with me and my other dog I got her name from star wars I knew she was a princess and so leia was fitting and lives like a true hound following her nose Im looking for whatever can help she has slipped a disk where it paralyzed her and made her incontinence i come here to hopefully find help with the options I was given which is surgery which is close to 11 grand or hopefully make it work with a wheelchair and diapers and hopefully I can do work with a chiropractor or acupuncture to either hopefully to help her walk again Liea favorite activity besides snuggling and snacks chasing the squirrels in my yard and and using the nose like the true hound she is even if she may be mischievous her heart with every human and animal is nothing but love she has one of the biggest hearts I ever seen she brings the love I need everyday to keep going The financial is hard with mri and and surgery option will be close to 12 grand and hearing that is hard or I try a wheel chair and diapers with either its acupuncture or chiropractic I wanna help her with i can if this ever gets attention you will bring my hope back

As a disabled US Army veteran who lives alone, I got Ozzy as a companion dog to help with my severe anxiety/depression. We live in a small home in Petersburg, VA. He's a very friendly, loveable goofball. He was recently seen at an urgent care for lethargy, trouble walking, and pain. The vet said he may have IVDD and needs and MRI to be sure. Possibly surgery which is very expensive. This guy loves everyone, and most people love him! Everyone in the neighborhood knows his name! He has a beautifully sweet temperament, although typically stubborn like most Frenchies. He's my best friend. The amount of comfort and happiness he brings cannot be overstated. I love him so much. I want Ozzy to be his old exuberant self again. An MRI is an unexpected large expense that I just cannot cover without help. The MRI is just to diagnose him for certain, possible surgery is even more costly. Please help if you can, I need my little dude to get better.

He is a mixed breed and we are looking for anything that will help cover the cost of his vet appointment Friday he started collapsing & seizing, he was fine Saturday and then symptoms presumed on Sunday at lunch time, unfortunately we had to rush him to the emergency vet when we were told he had fluid in the pericardial space around his heart from a possible tumor bleed, We are having to go to VVC in Charlottesville, Va to have more X-rays done of his heart due to a spot there that looks suspicious This dog has been with me for my entire teenage year he has always been such a great companion and was there for my girlfriend during my biggest surgery of her life. He is more than just a dog to us he is our family and we want to do anything we can to help him Due to the emergency visit alongside of another vet appointment along with our main bills we do not have the funds to cover the full procedure we are asking for anything that may help save our dude

Hi everyone! Meet Tank, the sweetest and strongest little guy. He is 8 weeks old and was just picked up from the breeder this past Monday. On Tuesday morning we noticed some very scary signs indicators of Parvo. Luckily we were able to get him to proper care and treatment started very early. He may only be two pounds but he’s fighting with all his strength to get better. Tank was diagnosed with Parvo and we are seeking care at the VEG group, Emergency pet hospital in charleston SC. He has been very strong and is stable We have only known tank for a couple of days but he is showing us he is unbreakable and ready for anything. He has a sister Winnie waiting for him at home to get better This was extremely unexpected for us and I am a nursing student. I’m struggling to gather the finances to get him the best care he continues to need.

Grizzly (Aka Fluff-Butt, Griswold, Grizz, Stinky) has been my companion for 10 years and is as spunky as ever. I rescued him as a puppy from an unplanned pregnancy, and together we got through college, a divorce, the pandemic, and now graduate school. He lives with his sister Lua and four cat siblings. He enjoys barking at my partner, smelling new things, and lounging in the sun on a hot day. Grizzly was born with a significant underbite that has made his dental care an issue throughout his life. Now that he has entered his senior dog years, they are causing complications for his health. He is currently being treated by Aztec Animal Hospital for an infection in his gums and teeth, but he will need surgery to remove the majority of those teeth. Grizzly is my best and most steadfast friend who has been there through thick and thin. He is loud and opinionated; he enjoys using his voice to harass my partner and bark at butterflies. His best friend is his adopted sister, Lua. He likes playing with his sister and comforts her during thunderstorms. He is a dog of comfort and loves laying on warm grass or digging into his blankets on the couch. I am a full-time graduate student working 2 jobs as a community support worker and at a local toy store. In May, I was fired from my Americorps job (an after school club) due to gov. cuts. I'm unable to take out a student loan until 2026, and I fear that will be too late.

Bunny came into my life 5 years ago, during COVID lockdown. Rescued by One Tail at a Time in Chicago from an abusive situation, she’s been healing and thriving since. Bunny is a cattle dog/pit bull/angel mix. More than just a pet, Bunny is my emotional support animal. She entered my life during a time of deep depression, and her companionship and quirky spirit have been a steady resource since. Bunny had a grade 2 carcinoma tumor removed from her mammary gland last December. She wasn't spayed until she was 5, which unfortunately makes these common. She has another tumor presumed cancerous, which required x-rays and bloodwork to determine eligibility for another surgery. I'm looking for help covering the $548 cost for that, at this time. Bunny is a listener. She checks on the people around her. Often named as a human stuck in a dog's body. She is athletic and clumsy, wise and goofy, with a snaggle tooth that gets stuck on her lip to boot. She wants love in the form of aggressive head and belly pets. Sometimes she gets so overwhelmed, she humps the people she loves most. I do not have a savings due to returning to a social work grad program in 2022. I am currently working as a therapist, and yoga teacher, and am living paycheck to paycheck. I am getting care for Bunny at a low-cost vet clinic an hour away from home.

Charlotte came to us about 3 weeks ago. I got her for my husband who is recently retired. On august 19th our Bugg- Potter passed away suddenly and devastated my husband. He was his buddy. I luckily found Charlotte from a woman in KY for $100, after looking that Bugg puppies were upwards of 800 to 1000 dollars. Charlotte has been perfect, she has helped heal my husband's heart. We are using discount clinics for vaccinations, but after checking around we have no options for low cost income driven spaying clinics. Peoria County is only offering it for cats and pit bulls. I have check everywhere looking for a voucher to help cover the cost. We want to get her fixed before 6 months. My husband's SSI has not started yet and I am the only one working. Charlotte has brightened my husbands life so much in such a short time. She is totally in love with him, they both light up when they see each other. She has alot of energy and is such a good baby. He can hardly stand to be away from her, she goes everywhere with him. He has just bonded with her so quickly, and we want to do what is best for her. She has just fit perfect in our family. My husband and I both lost our jobs last year, I found a job pretty fast, my husband was under a year to collect social security, so he waited after his unemployment ran out. He has applied for SSI as he turned 62, but not sure exactly when it will start.

Millie

Millie is a 1.5 year old Bullmastiff in Peotone, IL, who needs $9,100 for TPLO- Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy.

We rescued Millie from the shelter when she was 12 weeks old. She is playful and full of spunk, and is the sweetest girl anyone could ever meet. She is my daughter's world, and having this surgery on both of her legs would help her be able to be a dog again. She can't run or play without limping and being in pain. Millie has 2 torn crucial ligaments, one in each leg. This requires TPLO surgery. We traveled to an orthopedic vet 100 miles away, Sportvet in Savoy, Illinois to get the full diagnosis after seeing her regular vet. Without this surgery, she is only allowed to go outside on a leash with minimal running. The higher the activity level, the higher the pain and limping for her. Millie's playful and is the most loving dog we have ever had. She loves to play, but now she can't. She loves to tear up all polishes that she gets her jaws on, and there's not a shoe that survives in this house. I want to be able to give her a normal life. One that she could actually run around the yard and play for as long as her heart desires. TPLO surgeries cost $4550 per leg. She needs both done. I don't have that kind of money to spare with a daughter in college. I hope to have the surgeries done soon, even if it means going into debt, but any help that I could get would be immensely appreciated.
