Stella was rescued from a high-kill shelter in January 2016 to help support our other dog, Rocky. She lives with me and goes to my sister-in-law’s house every day while I work, so she’s never alone. I’m struggling financially as I just started a new job, but she’s still affectionate and loyal. Stella has an ear infection and needs grooming, something I’ve always kept up with. She’s not in danger, but she’s uncomfortable and deserves care at CIEL Animal Hospital. After losing Rocky, I’m really stretched financially and won’t be paid until November 10. I just want Stella happy and healthy again. Stella is a very down-to-earth dog who loves people and other animals. She enjoys cuddles, squeaky toys, and chicken treats, and gets excited for walks and car rides. Now that Rocky is gone, she seems a little lost, but she’s still here for me. Her sweet, goofy personality fills our hearts every day. I just started a new job and won’t be paid until November 10, so I’m really stretched financially. Helping Stella get treatment at CIEL Animal Hospital will mean the world—seeing her healthy and happy again will ease my heart after losing Rocky.

Cooper is a 9 year old Australian Shepherd in Temecula, CA, who needs $2,000 for Surgical Removal of a Sarcoma.

9 years ago I happened across a Craigslist posting for an Australia Shephard puppy. I met the lady at a local park and took the most adorable little puppy home that day. We named him Cooper. He has been the most loyal and intelligent pup. He always sits in the front seat of the car and never ventures far from his family. Cooper has a mass on his chest that rapidly increased in size recently. Sky Canyon Animal Hospital has sent in an aspiration slide and they believe it is a sarcoma. Right now it is larger than a baseball and needs to be removed urgently. Cooper is a smart boy. He can anticipate when his dad should be home from work and he greets him at the door everyday. Cooper loves his human kids- probably because they share their veggies with him. But his favorite person is his human mom. He loves their adventures together- especially going on hikes! We never anticipated needing funds for emergency surgery to save our beloved pet from a cancerous tumor. I would mean a lot for us to be able to get this surgery done so there is less risk of it spreading further.

September 2020, my mom and I traveled with Zimmerman, Blue (passed), and Hashtag (passed) to adopt Groot. My mom was a marvel fan, and was fond of Groot. The name fit perfectly once it was mentioned. Groot was definitely born with an attitude & his own rules. In 2021 and we adopted his sidekick, Rocket (the smallest golden retriever). Groot also has three sister cats, that were mine originally. University of Minnesota Lewis Small Animal Hospital (St Paul, MN). August 11, 2025 the orthopedic consult showed Groot needs a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) on his right knee & later his left. A brief neurology exam was done and a followup appointment on Sept 10, 2025 showed Lumbosacral disease & possible compression of both sciatica. He NEEDS an MRI ($4500) for a complete diagnosis. He's always been our talkative, mischievous, & gentle soul. He supervises the cooking & eating, barks at all the people, talks his way into extra treats, & has the best sense of humor. Without ever being asked he instinctively became our emotional support dog, knowing when a hug is exactly what is needed. Although he often mistakes laughter for crying & you get a 100-pound hug either way. Two incomes became one with the passing of my mom. I had refinanced the home for repairs & funeral expenses. Spent the rest on expensive emergency vet visits, surgeries, and diagnostics. Resources are depleted. My income is not enough to cover the costs or secure loans.

Since that visit, I’ve noticed her condition declining, which has been very worrying and heartbreaking. Our sweet Bella has been part of our family since she was just 8 weeks old. She’s always been such a healthy, happy, and loving companion—truly a part of our hearts. But Bella is too young and too full of life for us to give up on her. This surgery can save her—and we desperately want her to have that chance. Unfortunately, the cost of this emergency procedure is far beyond what we can manage. Our sweet Bella has pyometra, a life-threatening infection. The only cure is emergency surgery to remove her uterus/ovaries—antibiotics aren’t enough. With a child recently diagnosed with Crohn’s and our grandson facing kidney surgery, we can’t afford the cost. Bella is too young to give up on—any help or shares mean the world. ❤️ Bella has 2 daughters and her husband that this would greatly affect. Pasha came into my life 10 years ago when a friend visited with her. Pasha wouldn’t leave my side—she chose me. We live in a small apartment with friends who are like family and their 2 little dogs. I’m disabled, and after 11 months in rehab—including nearly 7 weeks in a coma—the longing to hold and walk my precious girl again was the driving force that pulled me back to life and brought me home. Pasha has a mammary mass that was biopsied, and the vet found suspicious cells. She advised waiting for an oncologist to confirm, but surgery is needed to remove the mass and spay her at the same time. Through Rhode Island Community Pet Project, she’ll also have a small airway procedure to help her breathing — three surgeries in one day to give her the best chance at comfort and health. Pasha is sweet, gentle, and full of love. She leans into you to say “I love you,” and still plays like a puppy with her pink bunny. She’s obedient and loves to sit in the morning sun on the step, watching the world go by. I missed her pug snores during my 11 months away—it broke my heart. She owns my heart. With her, I feel safe in a way only pure love can bring. She’s why I keep going every day. I’m disabled and live on a very limited fixed income with no cushion for vet costs. Pasha’s biopsy showed suspicious cells and surgery is needed soon. With your help, she can get the urgent care she needs to stop this from spreading and save my sweet baby's life. Thank you.

Jumba

I brought Jumba into my life after his brothers parents had an accidental litter at their breeders facility. What a wonderful accident it was. Jumba is 100% the perfect t description of a Great Pyr. He’s very sweet & gentle but extremely protective of his goats. When he isn’t on goat duty he’s lounging in the shade or playing with his brother Hank. Currently looking for answers as to why Jumba is experiencing partial paralysis. He’s not able to use his rear legs but he does have feeling just not able to walk. We’ve done the basic tests & screening to rule out different causes. We did X-rays & blood work for a variety of issues with no answers. Out next step is a neurologist at MedVet in Akron,Ohio. MRI & more extensive testing is next. Jumba loves everyone he meets! He’s the most gentle soul you’d ever meet but if you mess with his goats he’ll remind you what his breed was designed to do. He does enjoy fun walks with his pack mates during his down time. He is literally the most snuggliest polar bear you’ll ever meet. Just look at his sweet face I do have a stable job as a professional dog walker in the Pittsburgh area. Like everyone else who owns a pet I go above & beyond. Money has never been a factor but with our current economic state business has slowed down & emergency resources are limited.
