Hi my name is Gisela Cruz and I am the proud owner of an 8 year old Pomeranian named Bonnie Lulu. We currently live in Austin, unfortunately we are homeless. I was abandoned by my adoptive family once the checks stop coming and I have been doing my best. We were on the streets but I worked hard and saved enough money so now we live in my car and we do doordash to survive while I am in school. It all began right before I became completely homeless I noticed a small bump under her belly which I discovered is a hernia and I have been trying to build enough money to take care of this but it is extremely difficult juggling losses in every aspect and having extra money for her surgery and hotel cost. It has now grown quadruple in size and I am extremely worried. Hospital Name: Emanicipet Bonnie Lulu is all I got. It's just me and her and she is my best friend. She is my protector. I have a group of people who harass and stalk me every single day because I am homeless and tries everything to make me give up on life. They always are trying to invade my privacy and agitate Lulu so I can't study and progress in life. It is a nightmare but I refuse to give in and I keep striving. I go MANY nights without sleep bc that is when I can actually study and do my schoolwork without being tormented. Bonnie Lulu was my dream dog as a child & I met her when was 3 days old and visited her every week til she was ready. I put her needs b4 mines & it's killing me.

Karina is my beautiful baby girl, shes an almost 3 year old Presa canario. She was 5MO OLD living in a house with 7 other dogs. Some of which were extremely aggressive to other dogs. Which resulted in them being taken and uthenized. Since Karina was just a baby, they didn't take her! I begged the owner to let me have her! And he did! She's my best friend, my protector, we are connected deeply About 6 months ago, we were out long boarding. When she was attacked by another large breed of dog. The fight resulted in her leg being injured. At the time I didn't see any swelling just her limping slightly. Over the corse of a few months its gotten worse. Last week she was playing catch with her ball and her ACL finally tore completely. Shes 130 lbs and extremely active. Surgery is a must! Karina is my protector, she loves her family. Children, out in public shes very friendly. At home though, I wouldnt recommend just busting in our home. She's the most loving, empathic, emotional animal ive ever met. In fact she has more personality and common sense than the majority of people I know. I hate that shes hurting and I cant afford to take her pain away. She is such a good girl. I feel Im a single 32 year old woman who just finally was freed from an extremely abusive relationship, another reason I got her) leaving him meant leaving everything and starting over. Its just me and her. I have no family no support system. And the surgery is very expensive.

Milo has been part of my life since last year April. I adopted him for my birthday when he was 5 months old. I decided to adopt him for his little brother Timo. I got Timo before Milo and I felt that he’s lonely when I’m not home so I adopted Milo so that he doesn’t have to feel lonely anymore. Ever since Timo got brother, Milo, they both have been so happy. My 1-year-old dog Milo was diagnosed at Brimley-Lawrence Animal Clinic with painful bladder stones that cause frequent urination and blood in his pee. He also he has epilepsy and is underweight. Surgery is his only chance, but it costs about $5,000, which I cannot afford alone. I got Milo to be a little brother for my dog Timo, who was lonely whenever I wasn’t home. From the moment he joined our family, Milo brought joy, energy, and comfort. He follows Timo everywhere, plays with him constantly, and gives him the companionship he needed. Milo is playful, gentle, and full of love, and despite all of his health struggles, he still greets us every day with tail wags. I am an international student from Japan, and it’s very hard for me to afford Milo’s $5000 surgery. Having him healthy again would mean the world to me and his little brother Timo. This sweet girl was found as a stray, walking down a dangerous highway. She was not chipped and there were no shelters that had room for her. We posted her picture on numerous sites but could not find her owner. She seemed to be in pretty rough shape and in need of care, so we decided to foster her and get her the help that she desperately needed. We took her to Healthy Paws Animal Hospital, where she tested positive for parasites and heartworm. We have had her treated for the parasites and updated on shots, as well as having her spayed at a low-cost clinic. The treatment for her heartworm is expensive, but we can't bear to do nothing; knowing the damage that it will eventually do to this beautiful girl. We immediately fell in love with Biggie. She is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She is great with other dogs, cats, and kids. She loves to play, especially with the water hose, and is convinced that she is a lap dog. Biggie is being fostered by a low-income, single mom. She was not planning on being a dog mom, but after meeting this amazing girl, knew that she needed to step in and help her get the care that she deserves so that she can live a long and healthy life.
