I was leaving work and two young ladies asked if she was at the Humane Society. I replied, no that's next door. Allow me to see what you have. She two pups in a cage. I called my friend and he took the male and I have my beautiful Cassius. She pretty much just fell into my arms. Unfortunately my boyfriend asked me to bring her down for a few weeks. He let her out and failed to watch her. She has a broken femur in three places along with her hip joint. The facility is Veterinary Orthopedic Center in Highland, Indiana. Cassius is sweet and a loving animal. I am a cat lover. She loves playing with the cat and her kittens. She licks the kittens any change she gets. She is a loving and happy dog. I just returned back to work less than 30 days. Just getting back on my feet after being out of work for 30 days. Cassius is me and my daughters first dog. I very protective of her and this hurts me heart knowing she wasn't properly watched.

Sydney Alexander is a rescue who has been with me since he was just eight weeks old. I had always wanted to name a child Sydney, and after surviving cancer and facing the reality that I would not be able to have children of my own, I decided that the name would live on through my dog. Sydney is a unisex name, so it was the perfect fit whether he had been a boy or a girl. Sydney is my only pet, Sydney Alexander recently been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer). The doctors recommend surgery to amputate his leg as soon as possible to give him the best chance at comfort and continued life. His surgery and aftercare will take place at BluePearl Vet Hospital. The cost of this surgery and treatment is more than I can manage on my own, so I am humbly seeking help to finance his care. He is my 98-pound Lab–Rottweiler mix who still believes he’s a lap dog. If you sit anywhere, he’ll try to squeeze himself onto your lap, no matter how big he is. He truly is a gentle giant. He absolutely refuses the blow dryer after a bath. Instead, he insists on air drying in his own time. It’s these little things—his playful personality, his gentle nature, and his ability to make me laugh. Life brings unexpected challenges, and Sydney ’s diagnosis is one of the hardest I’ve faced. I do have some savings, the reality but most of it goes toward everyday expenses and supporting my elderly mother. I am currently helping with two households on a single salary.

We got Diva 15 years ago after the loss of our mother. She has been through so many devastating events in our lives. She rescued the family. She is the sweetest and most loving little girl. We moved from place to place until we found a home and she was with us going through all of our ups and downs. She is more than a pet but part of our family. Diva has large tumors all over her stomach area and has now developed a rash on her back. She is going blind in her right eye. She seems to be in pain and uncomfortable but I am able to pay for the surgery to remove tumors or treat the rash. The tumors have grown and multiplied She loves her brothers Ciaro and mazzi and has different relationships with both of them. She is the boss of the house and loves to snuggle. We call her burrito because doesn’t matter the weather she always wraps herself in the blanket with her nose popped out. She doesn’t like loud noises and will hide so the 4th of July is not a holiday she doesn’t enjoy We are a one income family and with cost of living we are barely making enough to pay bills. I can’t afford to get my dog the care she needs or medication to ease her pain. I can’t express how much this would mean to have her healthy and back to her happy little self again.

Jagger came into my life by fate. After losing my previous dog, Koko, I wasn’t planning on another, but when my daughter in Las Vegas couldn’t keep him due to her apartment rules, I stepped in. I told her not to give Jagger to anyone else, and I flew to take him in. Since then, we’ve cared for him in Naples, Florida, for a little over 5 years and he’s brought so much love and comfort to our lives. Jagger, our pet, suddenly became lethargic and was taken to Naples Pet Hospital, where Dr. Madison suspected a neurological event. Despite initial treatments, Jagger’s condition worsened, leading to multiple hospital visits. Dr. Madison suggested conditions like meningitis or encephalitis and recommended an MRI. After some improvement on steroids, we consulted Dr. Pancotto at Scan in Naples, Fl. Jagger truly was meant to be part of my family. From the moment he came into our life, he has brought so much joy, comfort and unconditional love. He isn’t just a pet- he’s a family member who has been by our side through both happy and difficult times, His gentle, caring nature has given me strength in our hardest moments, and his playful spirit fills our home with happiness every single day. Marley came to us as a rescue on 9/11. Although I know little about her past, I know she was abandoned, not sure for how long, but she was found when the husband returned home after his ex-wife left. Marley currently lives with me and my two boys who are 11 and eight, a chocolate lab who is 14 and a French bulldog who is six The discharge coming out of Marley's eyes led me to take her to Hays veterinary Hospital in Hays, KS. After throwing up a sock the day before, she was very weak and couldn't eat much so she would end up throwing it up. At the vet, he told me she had Entropion, which is painful for the eyes and she would need surgery to fix them. Her stomach was also x-rayed, and she still has some socks inside. I have never met a gentle giant like Marley. My boys and I love cuddling with her. She honestly thinks she's a lapdog. It's only been a week, but she's imprinted on our hearts like she's been with us forever. I am a single mom of two boys. I got divorced five years ago, so I don't have much income to support all the expenses. We rescued Marley because we believe we can provide a better home for her. I didn't anticipate eye and stomach surgery when we adopted her.

Rue came to us in November when her original owner realized they did not have enough time for her and wanted a better home for her. She currently lives with myself, my husband and two children. We also have another French bulldog Skywalker and 2 kittens that she loves to play with. She is a hyper outgoing dog. Rue is pregnant and currently in labor and we are unable to pay for her c-section. Her pregnancy was not planned, when she was in heat we tried to best we could to keep her and our other frenchie apart.. It did not work. He got to her one time and that’s all it took. I am desperate for help to get her delivered she is miserable in pain and I am worried this will take a bad turn. Rue loves to run around, play fetch and boss all of our family members around. She is the best cuddler and my protector. She loves teasing her brother frenchie and stealing his treats. My husband is currently out of work due to a torn rotator cuff and I am just trying to get her help asap. We have had a lot of financial issues the past 6 months and I wish I could do more for her. Hello, my name is Amber and I’m the owner of valor my best friend. Valor came into my life in 2014. I had just gotten back from a vacation in Hawaii with my kids and when I got backI had to put my little Shih Tzu down which broke my heart. At that time I lived with my two sons and we all wanted another animal. I saw them advertised valor on a local site and I knew I just had to get him!! My dog valor had a sore under his left eye that was oozing pus, I took him to the Yelm veterinary hospital, and they proceeded to tell me that he has an abscess tooth which has caused the sore under his eye to drain pus. He was put on antibiotics, but I was told that we only mask the problem until the tooth is pulled. I really want to get this done for him as I don’t want it to get any worse. My valor is special to me because he has been with me through all my hard times. Valor is a barker and a protector, he may be little but he thinks he’s a big big dog. He does bark at all my friends and family unfortunately which is hard for them to get used to. I think he’s rather sassy and could be spunky at times. He definitely lives up to his name. To get Val healthy again would mean lot to me because he really is my best friend and keeps me company. I can’t afford to get his tooth pulled because I have broken my ankle and I’m currently still trying to heal from this accident so funds are limited as I am not working.
