Zuko

Zuko is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Colfax, IN, who needs $2,000 for Gastropexy.

Colfax, IN

I rescued Zuko in November of ‘21. He is truly my best friend in dog form. He is also my registered ESA. He sleeps in bed with me every night, he has a stuffed animal that goes to bed with us. He is the goofiest, most loving dog I have ever met. You can see every emotion in his eyes, the way he looks at the people he loves makes you happy even in your saddest moments. He is the light of my life. Zuko got admitted to emergency care with GDV. His stomach was incredibly inflated and flipped. They had to call in every on call emergency care provider they had, radiology, ultrasound, surgery, CT people.. totaled to $3,000. I am willing to do whatever it takes to save my boy, but I am beyond my limit of financial capability. He is 4 years old, and I can’t imagine life without my little man. Zuko has a biological brother at home, Bodhi.. we found him after doing a DNA test on Zuko to try to figure out what breed he was. We met Bodhi at the shelter he was in, and they fell in love with each other. They are best friends, inseparable. Zuko loves everyone he meets, he shows it by bringing his favorite toy lobster to you. The person one he will share lobster with is Bodhi. I was laid off my job earlier last week and had to go to the hospital with stress cardiomyopathy after suffering a miscarriage along with other complications. Zuko has been my rock through everything in my life, but especially through these recent life events.

Topanga Lee

Topanga Lee is a 11 year old Shih Tzu in Albany, NY, who needs $3,000 for Dental Cleaning with Extractions.

Albany, NY

My baby Miss Topanga Marie Lee came into my life 2014, she was being given away as a baby on the streets of Schenectady NY. Guys were asking passerby’s if anyone wanted a puppy and this is how I got her. I know she is mostly Shih Tzu but I’m not sure what else she is. Everyone thinks she is a real life stuffed animal and she is quite the head turner when I take her places. Miss Lee has collapsing trachea and she battle pneumonia back in late 2024 to early 2025 with the help of Woodhill Veterinary. Now she is going to need dental with much of her teeth having to come out as she is getting bone loss. This is not covered by her ASPCA insurance as they only cover $120 yearly but with a $10 mthly payment so it was not reasonable for me to include that in her coverage Miss Lee is a very playful little girl, she loves her stuffed toys and she loves giving kisses. She loves attention and strolling in her stroller. Yet currently her dental is making her feel unwell and she don’t even want to play or give kisses. She is starting to be hesitant about eating her soft food now even though I heat it up for her, she wants it but I can see a hesitancy. I work 2 jobs, live almost paycheck to paycheck and am a single pet parent taking care of Miss Lee and her Pomeranian adopted brother Renley. I pay just over $300 per month for insurance on them but it doesn’t cover dental. I am told Miss Lee’s dental will be $3,000

Stellar

Stellar is a 16 month old American Staffordshire Terrier in Michigan City, IN, who needs $3,300 for Monoclonal Antibodies to Fight Off Parvo.

Michigan City, IN

We adopted Stellar in May of this year, 2025. She lives with 2 older dogs that are 10yrs old, 1 male and 1 female. Both of which are fixed and fully vaccinated. Stellar has 3 sisters and 1 brother (all humans) which are our 4 kids. She genuinely is another child of ours, and sibling to our children. She spends most days hanging out with her 6yr old sister (human). Saturday morning she started showing signs of being ill. We took her to Emergency Veterinary Care Centers and she was diagnosed with Parvo. We opted to try the at-home treatment and that was $1200. About 16hrs later it turned worse and her hospitalization is now estimated to be $10,044.87. We had to pay $5500 to have her admitted. We are already $6700 into her journey, desperately need help. We had a total of 4 dogs, 1 for each human child. 1 had to be euthanized in the summer of 2023 for kidney failure and another in early 2024 from cancer. My 6yr old daughter begged for a year to get another dog as she was so sad that she didnt have her sister anymore. When we seen someone seeking help rehoming Stellar we jumped on taking her into our home as another member. We just had a new fence installed from Lowe's for our babies to have the entire yard to roam which took all of our savings ($7000) From May until August we were saving for our human children to return to school. Our savings are gone and credit is maxed out.

Ramsey

Ramsey is a 8 month old French Bulldog in Bellingham, WA, who needs $2,000 for Surgical Fracture Repair of Elbow and Leg.

Bellingham

Ramsey is Eight months old he came with a broken elbow/leg unknown to us he came with trauma and not only the physical kind.Shame to the breeder who abused him Ramsey then left him in pain for weeks with no vet help! We are so glad he is part of our family now. We get to love him and give him the life that he deserves.Full of love &trust with a loving hooman Mom Dad Sister & fur Brother! 3 days after we bought Ramsey home, he had a major surgery to correct the broken elbow/leg that he had came to us with. The Breeder he came from had neglected to give him vet care the injury was beginning to heal incorrectly they had to re-break to insert a rod/pin surgically to give Ramsey his best chance at recovering due to the injury and the time they left untreated he may develop pain later. Ramsey is the sweetest loving dog i have ever met. I rescued him from his abuse brought him to a family that shows him true kindness and love. He feels comfortable, showing his belly now and being a puppy now. We love him and are just happy that we are able to to help heal his physical ap A Breeder reached out to me I had previously met saying he had an emergency situation needing to rehome. I said i couldn't buy a pup I'd been in the hospital 5 months I was/am low income. He said he ❤️ how I was with my Frenchie & just wanted him 2g2 a good home.

Cremé

Cremé is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Van Buren, AR, who needs $2,000 for Cushing's Disease and Thyroid Medicine.

Van Buren, AR

Cremé came into our lives at a time when we needed her most. After walking through some of the hardest moments, even facing homelessness, she became a light and a source of hope for our family. From the moment she joined us, she wasn’t just a pet—she was family. She has grown side by side with my daughter, sharing in her laughter, her milestones, and her love. Our sweet Cremé has recently been diagnosed with Cushing’s disease and thyroid problems. Hearing those words broke our hearts, because we could never imagine our lives without her. She has been with us through so much, becoming part of our family during a time when we had so little, and giving us more love than we ever thought possible. She has grown with my daughter, bringing joy, comfort, and laughter into our home every single day. Cremé is more than just our dog—she is family, our strength, and a reminder of how far we’ve come. Though this diagnosis is hard, our love for her is stronger, and we are committed to giving her all the care, comfort, and happiness she deserves. We cherish every moment with her. Life has thrown us many challenges, and right now one of the hardest is knowing that my sweet Cremé needs medication for her health, but I can’t afford it as a single mom. She means the world to me and my daughter—she has been our comfort and our family.
