Zella Vito Corleone

Zella Vito Corleone is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Rochester, PA, who needs $1,706 for Ultrasound Guided Fine Needle Aspiration.

Rochester, PA

Zella was a hopeful pup at the Stark County Dog Warden in Ohio. We saw something special in her eyes—a quiet resilience and a spirit that refused to be broken. We named her Zella Vito Corleone. "Zella" - "Young Warrior," a fight we knew she had in her from day one. "Vito" - "Full of Life," the vibrant spirit through every wag and every loving glance. "Corleone" protector, and leader. Zella's facing the fight of her life against cancer. The medical bills are overwhelming, and this journey has taken a heavy toll. We need to raise funds for her next critical appointment on August 19, where vets at AVETS will be sedating her to examine a mass found on her liver. This is a crucial step in her battle. Please, if you have ever been touched by her story, consider donating. She has donated her time, energy, and resources to so many in need, always stepping up when things looked their bleakest. Now, our little "Godmother" is facing the fight of her life against cancer. This "Young Warrior" is now fighting for her own "full of life" future, and her life is truly depending on us. She's been a fierce advocate for those who couldn't speak for themselves. 3 surgeries the last 3 months depleted our savings, credit cards maxed. Upcoming expense August 19 to aspirate a mass on her liver is a huge financial hurdle. Your support means everything. Seeing our young warrior healthy and full of life would be the greatest gift.

Nala

Nala is a 5 year old Boxer in Jim Thorpe, PA, who needs $9,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy Surgery.

Jim Thorpe, PA

Story: My name is Michelle, and my sweet 5‑year‑old Boxer, Nala, has been a constant source of joy and love for our family since we brought her home from a breeder near Allentown, Pennsylvania, during COVID in 2020. Nala’s personality is a little ornery, but she is deeply loving and was always full of energy before her injury. She loved walking around our neighborhood, greeting other dogs. Nala is a 5‑year‑old Boxer who was recently diagnosed with complete ACL tears (cranial cruciate ligament ruptures) in both of her back legs. This painful condition makes it very difficult for her to walk, stand, or enjoy the activities she once loved. She is being treated at Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, under the care of Dr. Melissa Gibson. Nala has always been the heart of our home. Whenever we come back from being out, she greets us with uncontainable excitement. Before her injury, she would jump up, put her front paws on us, and stand tall on her back legs to say hello. One of her sweetest quirks is the way she tilts her head, as if she’s really listening and understanding every word we say. She shares a special bond with me The cost of Nala’s surgery — $7,000 to $9,000 is completely out of our budget and will never be within our reach without help. We’already spent so much just to get her diagnosed and to understand what she needs. Right now, Nala is in so much pain And needs your help.

Little Dog

Little Dog is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Parkersburg, WV, who needs $1,400 for Librela Injection, Cytopoint Injection, Vaccines.

Parkersburg, WV

Little Dog came into my life when he was 3 months old. He was in a very abusive situation. The 1st time I met him he had a broken tail and hadn’t had a proper meal since… ever. I immediately brought him home w/ me, & he hasn’t left my side since. He is the sweetest, sleepiest loving boy. He has done more for me than I could do for him in a lifetime. He’s my best friend, my whole world, my heart! I need to get all of his shots up to date. He was given Librela injections twice to help with his pain, the vet said he has a knee completely dislocated, most likely because of the breed he is. THE SHOTS WERE A MIRACLE, HE NEEDS TO CONTINUE THEM. His allergy shot Cytonpoint, helps him tremendously. Please continue these. He also needs a general checkup to see what else the vet feels he needs. If Little sees a dog, cat, or a dragon even, on TV, he will bark @ the TV to let them know that I am HIS mommy & to leave HIS house! He’s on the spoiled side, & not afraid to let you know. You have to scratch him with 2 hands, not just 1. Warm baths are his favorite. Car rides? No thanks. He “boops” his bone off the couch w/ his nose so I’ll pick it up for him, so he can repeat the process again. My dad has severe health issues that put a strain on the financials. I do what I can $ wise for Little’s bills but, unfortunately w/ my income I’m just not able to afford a lot right now. He deserves to be happy healthy & pain free. I’ll do anything I need to do for Little.

Charlotte

Charlotte is a 2 month old American Pit Bull Terrier in Columbus , OH, who needs $564 for Broken Right Leg.

Columbus, OH

We saw her hopping down the street by herself about a month ago and she was so little there’s no way she could have provided for herself. Her name is Charlotte and she’s so sweet most of the time lol. Even being so little she likes to dig and she was in the backyard the other night and somehow lost her footing and broke her leg. It was the most agonizing cry I’ve ever heard in my life. The first hospital we took her to which was Ohio State University basically told me that unless I had $350 to give them they could’ve cared less about her. My 15 year-old son blamed himself because he was taking her outside to potty when it happened and I don’t know who was crying louder him me or the puppy however, VEG veterinarian services saved our life and our dog.! She’s just so playful, but she’s also spiteful to be so little. She has so much spirit and being that I recently lost my job and my son-in-law lost everything that we had. She’s a ray of sunshine. That is really happy this back into our life. We found a veterinary service that would take her at 12:30 at night. I told him about my financial situation. But unfortunately, I couldn’t get approved. I need her. My son needs her, but I think she needs us too. The veterinarian office that helped her knew my dire financial situation and lovingly took her anyway x-rayed her and gave her medication. I just want to make sure they get paid

Charlie

Charlie is a 4 year old French Bulldog in Elkton, MD, who needs $2,000 for Respiratory Failure.

Elkton, MD

Charlie is our 4 year old Frenchie. Charlie is the youngest of our three dogs, and is the little brother to Tucker a Frenchie, and Rocco our German Shepard. Charlie is the baby among the bunch, he’s a mamas boy, he’s our cuddle bug, he loves to give kisses and sleep in our lap. Charlie is your typical high energy Frenchie, and he’s our mischievous one. Charlie is a very special boy! Charlie has always been a healthy dog. Last Friday, we saw him acting differently, he wasn’t himself and was lethargic. We rushed him to the ER and were told it was IVDD, a spinel ailment known in frenchies. They didn’t have a Neurologist working the weekend, so they sent us home with meds. While we drove to the vet, he went into respiratory distress. He’s currently at Blue Pearl Vet in Newark, DE Charlie and all our animals are special. We adore Charlie. He’s the baby boy, the funny one. Charlie loves all his brothers and we couldn’t imagine our lives without Charlie. Charlie brings smiles to our faces everyday. Charlie loves to sing (howl) with Rocco, and play tug-a-war with Tucker. He’s always trying to sneak a snack or will be at your feet smiling, waiting for that handout. This is an unexpected situation and we have no backup money for the vet expenses. Charlie was intubated and is currently in an oxygen chamber, hoping it will help him breathe on his own. It would mean the world to us for Charlie to be back home where he belongs! We love him!
