Karma came into my life when she was abandoned by her owner, I had no idea how old she was or her background but I have a heart for pit bulls, I already had my pup Hazel and they got along so well and became the best of friends. She has been there through all of my homes, the birth of my son who is now 9 years old and since the passing of Hazel, she has welcomed my German shepherd into our home. Karma had a small lump on her neck that fluctuated in size over a couple of years, vets wanted to wait and see if they progressed when we noticed another mass that looked a bit more suspicious, so we decided to send out a sample and low and behold it was a confirmed mast cell tumor. She has been seen by an amazing veterinarian Dr. Fowler at County Line Veter Clinic. Her health is my obligation. I have been caring for her since she was abandoned, she has been the sweetest girl, she’s welcomed so many dogs that I’ve pet sitter before, blended right in with my cat, when she came to me she was terrified of rain and now she has overcome that obstacle and that really makes me proud, she goes on all our trips with us and has brought so much love to all the family. I'm current pregnant, struggled to get insured, now that I am I have an extremely high deductible that must be paid monthly prior to delivery. Her sister/companion recently passed away from a splenic mass that drained my credit cards and lead to her passing due to lackfunds.

Hazel

Hazel is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in College Station , TX, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

I rescued Hazel from a Humane Society in my college town last year in February. I grew up with dogs and they bring me so much joy. I wanted one for myself and that’s when I found Hazel. She’s the only dog in the house currently, but we are moving in with one of my friends who has a dog and they absolutely adore each other. I named her Hazel because of her hazel colored eyes and fur. Her situation is more of an emergency situation. She tore her ACL last week and requires surgery to repair it. Hazel broke her leg last summer and had to have FHO surgery which she recovered beautifully from. But it’s been very hard seeing her go through another leg injury and not be able to properly walk and run. Her vet office is called Brazos Valley animal Hospital in College Station, Texas. Hazel is the most happy and sweet girl ever. She loves playing with her ball at the park. She loves playing with other people and dogs. She is a lover to all and a joy to be around. She loves to swim and go on adventures. She really lights up a room. I am a junior in college currently. I have classes full-time and I work part-time I only make minimum wage and have to balance student loans and my rent. It would mean the world to me to have Hazel be able to walk normally again because she’s been through so much.

Bruno

Currently Bruno is getting in home around the clock care by me with constant contact with the vet. He was seen again today after his accident Sat at which time he went to the ER. he is on 3 pain meds. Bruno is 2. Recently he was severely injured on our farm. He has a severed femor, possibly needs pelvic reconstruction due to four breaks and tilt. He needs cross pins in his femor along with muscle reconstruction. Bruno is currently being seen by stillwell animal hospital in oklahoma and an ortho surgeon will be reviewing his file. His surgury will be complex. We know this will be very expensive. Bruno couldn't hurt or hate a soul he crosses. He is full of personality, can handle any situation, carries himself well and loyal. He is know to stand calmly between his friends and mistreatment from other dogs. He tries so hard to be his best. Even being horribly injured, while I cried he worried if I was ok and comforts me. He is my light. My world, my heart We are on one income until I start getting a check from my very part time job I just got. We've already spent all our savings on the ER visit. We will risk bills trying to afford this surgery

Girl came from a farm when we were living in Virginia she has from their beagles and they were breeders and it was not a good environment We’ve had her since she was six weeks old and she’s been with us ever since. Girl got hit when she was a pup by a hit-and-run and got her leg injured. We took care of her then we wanted to take care of her now she got her leg re-injured. She is going to go to Johnstown veterinarian Hospital in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She needs to be assessed. She’s in a lot of pain. She has an intricate part of our family and we love her but she needs to be able to go to the vet and get emergency care. And x-rays and we hope not surgery. Girl has been part of our everyday lives and my children’s lives. We don’t imagine our world without her. She’s a child to me and we both help each other mentally I’m currently going for a health struggle had core biopsies myself, and waiting on cancer results. I cannot afford a large vet bill with my own upcoming struggles

Dodger was adopted from the humane society by my family 4 years ago after the loss of another fur baby. He has become my middle son’s sidekick and VERY spoiled. Myself and my husband along with our 3 boys ages 17, 13 and 8 have given him the best home we could. Dodger was diagnosed with cancer about 2 weeks ago after trying to figure out why he was having weakness in his backend. Unfortunately the last couple days have gotten bad, QUICK. He collapsed in the yard tonight and now can barely walk. We are trying to figure out how to cover the expense of an emergency vet visit but running out of options. We can’t get approved for credit. Dodger is a lazy doggy who loves food and snuggling up in bed or on the couch w my son lol. He’s great w the kids as long a they don’t wanna play 😂. We are a typical family who struggles like everyone else anymore. My husband works 6 days a week delivering for FedEx and hasn’t missed a day in 11 years. But with the unexpected vet visits we just don’t have the funds to get him seen tonight and he so desperately needs it.

Biggie is our 8-year-old French Bulldog, and he’s been a part of our family since he was just a puppy. We’ve raised him since he was a baby, and he’s been by our side through every high and low life has thrown at us. He lives in a home in Costa Mesa, California and he’s truly the heart of our household. Biggie is under the care of the veterinary team at RISE Veterinary Specialists in Laguna Hills, California. After consulting with a veterinary oncologist and completing a CT scan at RISE, it was confirmed that Biggie has a benign but aggressive tumor (ameloblastic fibroma) in his lower jaw. The tumor is growing quickly, causing damage to his jawbone and increasing discomfort. Biggie has always been a laid-back, affectionate dog. He loves nothing more than lounging on the couch with us, snuggling under blankets, or riding in the car with his head sticking out just far enough to sniff the air. He’s a mellow, goofy, expressive companion with a big personality. He’s also incredibly bonded to us emotionally. He follows us from room to room and sleeps in the bed. Like so many people right now, we’re doing our best to stay afloat financially while handling the rising cost of living. The estimate for Biggie’s CT scan and jaw surgery came to nearly $10,000, and while we’ve covered the diagnostics, we simply cannot afford the surgery.

Maggie

Maggie is a 11 year old Redbone Coonhound in Blacksburg, VA, who needs $1,900 for Cancerous Tumor Diagnostics and Surgical Removal.

This fundraiser is made for Dave- a homeless senior disabled veteran- who is living out of his small car with his service dog Maggie. Dave is an air force veteran, Maggie served as a bomb sniffing dog in Afghanistan, and they met when he received her when she retired. They are best friends and she is his motivation during these difficult times. Maggie has 4 tumors which upset her but only 1 of them is cancerous. The priority is to surgically remove the cancerous tumor before it spreads and it's too late, and the uncomfortable one. The estimate was received from "All for Paws Animal Clinic" in Blacksburg, VA. It would also be great to help Dave cover the diagnostic cost since he used money he initially saved for a hotel room. Maggie is a friendly, sweet girl. She loves cuddling, and will almost always roll on her back to enjoy some belly rubs. Maggie enjoys laying in the grass under the sun while Dave tries to raise money to get himself a home, while also providing for her necessities. When she was diagnosed Dave sent me this text: "Noa I can't lose Maggie. If any of your friends could help I would be very grateful." Dave became homeless after not filing his taxes during the 3 years his wife was dying from cancer. The IRS took away his retirement funds leaving him with $600 a month that he has been using for monthly IRS pay-back payments, Maggie's needs, and occasional motel stays.

Luna, affectionately known as Lulu, came into our lives as a rescue at just 4 weeks old. We bottle-fed and weaned her ourselves. She'll turn 3 on July 7th and lives in a loving home with me, my 2-year-old son, my 10-year-old nephew, my mom, and our other two dogs. Lulu and my son have grown up together and share an incredibly special, unbreakable bond. Luna is facing a life-threatening emergency. She has laryngeal paralysis and struggles to breathe on her own. Any excitement can cause her airway to collapse, so we have to keep her sedated around the clock to keep her alive. She urgently needs surgery, which we plan to have done at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital. We're doing all we can to keep her stable until then. Luna is full of energy and personality - a total wild girl in the best way. She's playful, a little dramatic, and always keeps us on our toes. She's extremely attached to me and follows me everywhere I go - definitely a Mommy's girl. She also has a deep love for our other dogs and is always cuddling or playing with them. Her love is loyal, intense, and so special. Luna's surgery is estimated at $6,000-$7,000. We were approved for $4,000 through CareCredit, but we're struggling to cover the rest. Keeping her sedated at home has been physically and mentally exhausting. Luna's recovery would bring peace back into our home.

Cyrus joined our family two years ago when we instantly fell in love with his puppy picture from a well-known breeder. Since then, he has brought immense joy into our lives. Cyrus' right humerus bone shattered when playing ball and is hospitalized. He is currently at the Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota waiting for surgery. Cyrus' gentle nature shines through in his special bond with our pet bunny, as they often lounge together in harmony. Cyrus also is great at comforting people when they are stressed or sad, he does this by sitting on your lap or using his nose to nudge for cuddles. A spirited pup at heart, Cyrus loves playing fetch, going on hikes, and enjoying car rides. This sudden major expense has depleted our emergency funds and with a fixed income, we find ourselves in a challenging situation. We are reaching out for support to help cover some of Cyrus's medical expenses. Your support will make a difference in his long recovery journey.
