Ivan was the puppy we never planned on keeping. My son wanted an offspring of his baby so we bred our female to his and fell in love with our goofy boy nicknamed at the time Gomer. He had the sweetest disposition and was so loving. We decided even though we were not going to keep a puppy we couldn't let him go. As loving as he is, our boy has gotten quite naughty in his teenage years and has fallen victim to addiction. SOCKS. At this point we think he is actually stealing them from the dryer or our sock drawers because we are always finding piles of sock poop despite our best efforts of trying to keep them away. But, his addiction has gotten the best of him and he now has a blockage! He is so gentle and has been raised with his besties, our twin 18 mo old grandbabies. They love him and he is so patient with all their fumbling and rough pets. He is their dog really! It would be devastating to lose him. We do have other older danes. And we have always been able to take care of them no matter the situation and are so careful to avoid mishaps like this. We can't lose our baby! When I lost my job of 20 yrs earlier this year, we used all of our savings and emergency funds to stay afloat with our bills. When we had to choose a roof and utilities over credit card bills we lost our care credit card and our credit is now too bad to apply.

Diesel is a Rottweiler/Pitbull. I’ve had him since he was a puppy. He is now 7 months. And he is the most energetic, loving, sleepiest dog. He loves to run around the yard and be play with sticks. Diesel recently broke his arm and I got an xray from highland animal hospital and the break is near his shoulder, so I can’t get it splinted. I have an estimate from blue pearl hospital, which $3300. We have a 5 year old in the house and diesel is his best friend. He feeds diesel and lives getting him toys. We also have a cat and they act like siblings. We recently moved into a new home. And we do not have the funds right now to pay for his surgery. The estimate from blue pearl is $3300 and I would like to try and raise atleast half of that.

Faith

Faith was brought into my life, weeks after losing my 3 year old lab Cassie to Cancer, it was so devastating for me, I just needed something to care for and needed a best friend again. I have had Faith since she was 8 weeks old and it's been me and her together everyday for the last 8 1/2 years. I named her Faith cause that's what I knew she could give me after losing my 3yr old pup to cancer. Faith has been to the vet multiple times in the last 3 months. First being diagnosed with melanoma cancer in her nail bed. So I got that toe surgically removed right away, she slowly healed up and then a month after randomly had a seizure, which was her first. Then last week notice she was having a difficult time breathing, they did xrays and said the cancer has spread to her lungs Faith is the joy for me and my whole family, I wished they give you more space to tell you in greater detail. Faith is my rock, she was a big part in my sobriety, I always make sure she has the best food, best toys and all the adventures I could give her. She goes everyday to my mom's, her grandmother's while im at work, she's never alone, she's a huge part of our Family. Finances could not be worse, credit cards maxed out, and already have gotten multiple loans for Faiths recent vet visits and surgery. I am completely tapped out, But she means more then anything in the world to me, So im trying anything in my power to save her.

We are currently homeless, without stable environment or income. We left our home last Dec (only home hes known) due to a volatile unsafe domestic situation. Hes very sensitive. Requires specific food. Needs flea, worm and tick treatment. Recently he had what looked like a tick. Did my best to safely remove it. Hes's constantly itchy, sleepy and has loose bowels about every other day.Needs to see a vet. Im so sad, first time I cant afford his care He loves over sized plushy toes that squeak. He loves cats. Loves hes four legged friend Pouchie when he gets to play with her. Loves to please and perform tricks: He sits pretty, rolls over, spins, high 5's. Heels, walks off leash Im a LVN. Same employer for 20 yrs until Oct. 2023 to care for my mother until she passed Feb 2024. Returned home, reluctantly but hopefully. Unfortunately things only got worse. Forced to leave my home out of fear.

I rescued Lucy in August of 2011 after she had been through a tornado in Rome, GA in April of that year. I took her to my vet after the adoption and he indicated she was approximately 9 months old and in great health. So began my relationship and journey with my furry friend I named Lucy. She was furry, mischievous, fun-loving and cuddly. As she grew up, I always noticed a flap of skin under her tongue. It never bothered her; she ate and drank fine. We relocated to Florida in 2016 and in early May 2025 she began bleeding from her mouth. Upon further observation from her vet the flap of skin had grown into a very large mass with bleeding. Surgical removal from Metro West Veterinary Clinic in Orlando, FL is needed. Lucy is my ESA, emotional support animal. She has been with me through thick and thin, always calming my bouts of anxiety and panic attacks. I just don’t know how I’ll handle losing her. She’s my everything! She is also very attached to my 2 grown adult daughters and they have the added peace of knowing mom is okay when Lucy is with me. I am in the mortgage industry and experienced 3 layoffs over the past 3 years, one being for 24 months. I ended up losing everything. I’ve depleted my savings/retirement but, I just started a new job on May 12th., 2025. Trying to get back on my feet, when it rains it pours!

My nephew Gabriel rescued King from his 2nd owner. He could've keep him, so i was supposed to watch him while Gabriel found a place. 1.5 months later i decided to keep King as my service dog. His separation anxiety was so bad i called him Bugga boo, which became Boogie. I have anxiety & PTSD from car accident when i was 17. I sustained a TBI. Prefrontal Cortex injury. Kings been a God send to me! King has a torn cruciate ligament he needs a tplo repair Dr Strickland with the Leesburg Veterinary Hospital has agreed to do the surgery and he has Dr Lazar from Reston that's going to do the surgery with him they're helping us out as much as they can I am homeless with my service dog living in my car staying at a friend's RV at a campground for now his procedure is going to be over 4,500 King Boogie is a ham! he's for my anxiety. I know nothing about his first 3 years of life he has a little bit of anxiety himself. when we're in public and people ask if they can meet him I ask him if he wants to say hi, I leave it up to him, everybody that meets him says how much they love him. Leting him meet people relaxs the both of us, and it contributes his quality life being in environment King got injured on the job that I was working because I had to drive a work vehicle he in the car with me 12 to 14 hours a day while I was working I didn't want to do that job anymore once King got injured. we lost our place to stay. we've been in my car ever since 5/2/25

"Atlas"is 11 months old, we received him in August 2024, my daughter battles severe anxiety, a form of tourists that causes OCD,and depression, she has had a rough childhood /teenage years with issues medically and emotionally, Atlas has been a god send to her. He brings her calmness, happiness, reduces anxiety, helps her sleep., he was meant for our family Atlas is fully vaccinated, we have always stayed on top of his basic care, unfortunately I do not have savings to pay for his accident, he broke his leg, it requires surgery, we can not afford, I only have one income full time. And I am a student as well as a single mom, Atlas fell out of the non-moving car, when the door was opened, we did not see him leaning on the door his leg broke Atlas is such a sweet dog, he's very in touch with human emotions. Atlas is my daughters emotional support dog, he gives her the calm and happiness, my daughter has battled rare illnesses,anxiety and depression, hes brought her so much comfort,he loves our family and has been a major support for myself and my kids, not enough words to say how amazing he is or our love for him I am a single mom, my ex husband abandoned us, I was diagnosed with cancer shortly after, it's been a financial struggle, I work full time, I go to college and get no other support, this tragic accident is weighing on my heart.i do not have the money for his surgery

I rescued Greyson from the people I used to live with they used to neglect and beat him so when I moved out I took him with me he is so loving and caring He has a hurt front left leg something happened when he was younger and it didn’t heal right and causes a lot of pain and problems he also has testicular cancer I’m getting him neutered next month on the 6th He is the most loving and gentle dog I’ve ever met he is good with everyone especially baby’s and loves other dogs he has a lot of problems but I’m trying to get him taken care of he deserves the best life I don’t make enough money to pay for his surgery and would love some help so I can get my boy taken care of so he’s not in pain anymore the vet just gives me pain meds but it needs to be taken care of the right way

My dog is a Las Vegas fight ring rescue. I got her when she was a little over a year and put her through socialization and rehabilitation. She became the perfect family dog after that. I had a baby and she was like a second mom we always call her nanny Or Roomba because she is always babysitting our eight-year-old or chasing behind her picking up crumbs. We have hit hard times. I have only been able to afford to get her into a virtual At Dutch pet They looked at her teeth and her symptoms and said she had periodontal disease and a pretty severe case, the vet told me I needed to get the tooth removed before The infection could spread. She gave us meds as a temporary fix. Those meds are now gone, and the infection has spread to her blood, and organ Our dog is hilarious! She has a broken jaw that is deformed from her rough star in life so she looks like a Simpsons pitbull. She is loving and playful even at her age before getting sick she was still playing fetch and running with the kids. she’s always been gentle around me though, I even got her certified as my support animal I have terrible PTSD and she saved my life. She is everyone’s besti I'm a single mom expecting another child. My husband is incarcerated, and my work hours have been cut to 24 a week, bringing in about $1,700 monthly. Our rent is $1,300, and food stamps have decreased to $13 a month.
