My youngest son Dante was a "covid-19" highschooler. So, we got him an emotional support dog to help get him involved. This was AkaMaru that we found near Orlando and was raised on a farm. The moment he and my son met there was an instant connection that was undeniable. They were made to be best friends. The changes they both have endured together has brought out the best in both of them. Maru was diagnosed with multiple bladder stones that have caused blockages. In November we took him to St. Peterburg to ER, and they performed a temporary procedure on him but said he would need the surgery. I could not save the money soon enough and he formed more stones; we took him to Desoto Animal Clinic who unblocked him again but said surgery is imminent now. Maru is a joy to be around for our entire family especially the babies. He was a pup that did not bark, we did not notice because he was scared of the construction going on across the street when we brought him home. Well, he is a protector and boy does he bark now...lol but only at feelings of threat not passersbys or other furry friends. He is the glue that brings joy to our family. Most of my financial hardship stems from Hurricane Milton. I could not recover and had to start over from scratch. The loss we have felt runs deeply and my son and I feel like Maru is a huge part of our story to keep trying and never give up. Maru is our heartbeat.

Bucky

Bucky is a 3 year old Golden Retriever in El Campo, TX, who needs $1,100 for Tumor Removal.

Bucky has been with us for 3 years. We got him as a puppy when my daughter was 2 years old. We just moved to Texas from CA. We bought a little house with every dollar we had saved. Bucky is best friends with our senior dog Miesha and our cat Keanu. He is also best friends with my three children. He has a heart of gold and wants everyone to pet him. We noticed the tumor on him about four months ago. It was very small. We lost our home due to foreclosure and couldn't get the surgery done. A vet in Modesto,CA called American Pet Hospital at 2405 Coffee Road did the biopsy and said it was a fatty tumor. We had to pack up our whole house to move. The tumor has grown rapidly within the last month. We are now in El Campo, Texas. Bucky is the most well mannered boy ever. He loves every person and animal. He lives with Miesha and Keanu. Our cat Keanu knows he isn't feeling well and rubs all over Bucky. Bucky never barks. He just wants to be loved all the time. He knows when I am upset. He comes right over to make sure I am ok even though he is in pain. I lost my house in CA and moved my family to El Campo,Tx 30 days ago. I spent every last dollar to get my children a small home that we could afford. Bucky means the world to us. I wake up every morning and clean blood up because his tumor is leaking. We need help, please

I've had Luna for about 7 years now, a friend of mine wasn't able to give her the time she needed because she had to work a lot, she knew I would love her and always try my best to take care of her. She lives with me, my boyfriend, our German shepherd, her best friend. And our cat. We all love Luna so much. I am looking for help for my girl Luna, I brought her to the park, she was running and hurt her back left leg, her Achilles tendon ruptured, and she will need surgery and a fixator. We've been to multiple vet appointments, we weren't sure what it was right away, or how to treat it. but now we have a plan. Her surgery is 8 hours away, in Montana. At bridger veterinary specialists & emergency. Luna is the most special girl, everyone loves her, she's great with other animals and kids, people light up when they see her, she's always smiling and happy, we take trips and she's with me all the time, he's best friend is our German shepherd and they never get sick of each other, Luna is my soul dog, she's helped me through the toughest times in my life and now I need to help her through hers. This was all unexpected, I've been trying for so long to put money aside for things like this, right now that's just not possible with my bills. I've taken jobs aside from my full time job and it's not enough, it would me the world to our family if we could get some help

Muki was adopted on Easter 2017 and became the little sister to Kyva as she entered our family. She lives with a liver shunt & has seizures. However, that hasn't stopped her from bouncing around the house, twirling like a ballerina, whooing like Chewbacca, and being a personal space invader. Her wiggly crooked tail always brightens your day! Muki has a big heart and tiny teeth—most of which are causing her pain. She needs dental surgery to remove damaged and infected teeth to ease her discomfort and help her live a healthy life. We're taking her to the Humane Society of Manatee County, where she’ll get the care she needs to eat, play, and smile again without pain. Muki is the little sister to Kyva and is a Daddy's girl. She loves to go on car rides and take naps. She snores louder than her humans! If not cuddled with her sister, she loves to be snuggled with her parents. Muki likes to howl like a great big wolf in a teeny tiny body. She makes her family laugh with her funny faces. Muki needs dental surgery, but we’re financially stretched. Her Dad is back in school to get his LMHC, he has had major surgery recently, and our home took damage in the 2024 hurricanes. Seeing Muki's smile healthy & pain-free again would mean the world to us.

Mena is a very active dog she loves to play and run around she broke her leg back in October and was treated with a simple cast but that didn’t fully heal the bone so she needs a more extensive treatment which is surgery. She recently re broke it like the veterinarian stated could happen so now she’s on strict cage rest until further notice which she isn’t happy about she constantly said and crying her vet is Noah’s Ark. My Mena is very special to me and my family she’s my very first pet she make me laugh because she’s so smart I lost a very special person to me right before I got her and she helped a lot with the grieving also my little brother is autistic and he loves her she comfort everyone she’s so affectionate. I’m a 22 yr old with a minimum wage job that doesn’t help a lot I recently lost a better job due to personal issues and that really put me in a bind with a lot of this and I’m trying my best to figure everything out all I want is for her to be pain free and ok.

Rescued July of 2015. She had a cast on her left leg from being stepped on as a pup & no one doing anything about it. Rescue agency had to re-adjust leg, place in rods & multiple screws. Kyva has been a part of our family for 10 yrs, cast free & is one of the happiest, most lovable dogs you will meet. While scared of everything she is also curious about everything & is a Daddy's girl. Kyva is suffering from severe dental disease causing pain, difficulty eating, and infection risk. She needs dental surgery at the Humane Society of Manatee County to remove damaged teeth and treat infection. Without treatment, Kyva’s condition could worsen, leading to infection and pain. This procedure is essential for her comfort, health, and quality of life. Kyva is happiest when we go for a ride because she gets to go visit grandma. She can often be found laying in weird positions or acting like an ostrich by hiding her head under the covers. She is special to us because of her story & how she cares for her sister Muki who suffers from seizures. She also likes to bark from her bed at the Amazon delivery man. Kyva's Dad recently returned returned to school for his LMHC, and this past years' hurricane damage to our family home strained us financially. Seeing Kyva healthy again would bring relief and comfort to our family. We want to see her tail wagging again!

I was scrolling through Facebook and saw a post from a breeder that was selling Dobermans. I messaged her and met with her within three days as soon as I brought her home, I noticed that something was wrong. Her gums were white and she was very sick. I immediately took her in and they told me she was positive for parvo. I contacted the them and they didn’t care and wanted nothing to deal with her. she is currently very sick with parvo. The vet bills are piling up. I didn’t expect to have to treat something so serious within two days of getting I’m very upset at the breeder and how she was mistreated I’ve been treating her with Alamosa vet here in alice, Texas, and they’ve been a great help. I’m worried that I’m going to have to hospitalize her and I don’t have the funds for it. she is a beautiful one of a kind dog. She has such a funky personality when I met her. She’s very dramatic and reminds me of my other dog when she was little I just want her to be healthy and happy and be able to be a puppy again It means the world to me to try and help her be at her 100% but with me working full-time as a McDonald’s manager, it’s not enough for me to support her. I’m trying everything that I can and I would love for you to help me so I can help the poor baby get better.

We rescued Bear from an abusive situation. He was being sold on Craigslist, her husband was beating him and she wanted to keep him safe. He’s my best friend, he’s the sweetest dog in the world. My wife and I are both disabled which makes full time work difficult. Bear has come so far from when we first got him, he was 30 pounds underweight, had no fur below the waist. He’s an amazing boy. Bear got into something. We don’t know what, but he can’t hold food down, he tries to poop and either nothing comes out or it’s very minimal liquid. He’s acting jittery, he’s stressed. I’m scared he has a blockage. Best is my service dog in training. He is tasked to alert to panic and PTSD attacks, gives me warning when they’re coming on, leads me to a safe place and gives deep pressure therapy until I can get my medication. He thinks our two kittens are his children, he grooms them, he separates them from wrestling. He thinks he’s a person. My dog is my world. He’s my best friend, he’s my companion, he’s my light. My wife and I both work part time jobs, but most if not all of our income goes to taking care of animals and our own basic needs. We don’t have much to save, and I’m desperate to save my best boy

I hated my life and didn't want to live anymore I was tired of being strong a friend bought my little yorkie named GRACIE for me on mother's day she changed my life in my darkest days of abuse I am a single mother with a handicap daughter and have fought my whole life my daughter and Gracie is all I have I get no help from the government no food stamps wic or nothing I'm trying to survive Gracie has mammory breast cancer she has masses and nodules all over her mammory chains and glands she is a fighter like me I will not give up on her she has already had 1 surgery and removed one whole side she had her 2nd surgery today he removed 14 more masses and nodules she will need meds checkups and ongoing treatments to give her a fighting chance she will continue having surgeries Gracie is not just my dog she saved me she's so full of life and makes me laugh which I never did she has little greets she does she is so special to me and my daughter she is my handicap daughters therapy dog Gracie will howl if she senses something wrong she sleeps with me and my daughter and always has her little paw on my daughters heart while she sleeps I named her Gracie but I call her Grace I am a single mother with a handicap daughter no friends or family or help from the government in any way I have never needed help or asked for help in my life until now it would mean more to me than my own life for Gracie to get the treatment she needs I owe the vet
